Ihabia I tried running a long ethernet cable through the door connecting my room with my neighbours, because they have the internet and we thought we might be able to steal theirs for a time until we got the stuff we need in our room! But, as you can probably imagine, that did not work. Don't know why. So , here I am again, back at the computer lab on campus. Being pissed off that I have no internet in my room even though I'm clearly paying for it in my tuition and residence fees. And also I'm angry that my barely 1 year old laptop has already got a major battery problem. The battery is basically useless : I can't start the computer unless it's plugged in, even though the battery is charged at 90%. The computer won't stay on if the power cord is unplugged , even though the battery is at 90%. Also, the battery will not charge, and is slowly losing the charge it has. Today it dropped to 88%...wierd. So I'm going to have to go to futureshop and be thankful I paid for the extended warranty. Three words: Get. A. Mac.

...Heheheh, yes, it was because it was spam... ninja There was a shooting today at a CEGEP nearby. :/ Three critically injured and at least ten wounded. This news gave me something of a fright, and evoked a likewise response when I told several friends on campus. Many of us have friends who attend there. The only person I know, it turns out, is attending Bishops.. which is like three hours away, or something like that, but there was still a moment of worry. It sickens me how someone can be such a reckless asshat and feel just in being the executioner of a bunch of students. People who are taking the time to educate themselves at a higher level, to enlighten and exceed the status quo. To make something of themselves.
I'm very curious to see if these two cowards left a note explaining themselves.
Their ignorance and disregard for life might give me something to laugh at.

Er, well first of all, apparently there was only one shooter. And he was "neutralized".
A girl in History walked out of the class sobbing because she'd just gotten a text message from her sister, who goes there, explaining the situation in brief. She's okay though.
