Tell me about it.
This is the fourth call we've gotten tonight asking if my brother's okay. But what I'd really like right now is to hear from our two guildies.

Dunno. I read somewhere that an eye-witness said the guy walked into the school with a scowl. Maybe he was angry.
Maybe it was a crime of passion!

Oh! Dear me.. no need to worry about DanceLink and me, because we actually go to Vanier College and not Dawson. Teehee~~ It's a good 20min distance by metro.
Sorry for having made you worried. >.<
However, it is sad for all the rest of them in Dawson. I still don't clearly understand all this.. I hear so many rumors and I'm not sure which to believe. I heard that there were two of them. One who had nothing to do with the College and the other one was a student that wasn't accepted into the school. Pretty dumb taking his revenge on those who actually did get accepted because he wasn't smart enough too.

Man, I don't know how I'd have made that mistake. :/ Anyways. Yeah, there was only one shooter, as far as I know. Not from the school. The information was changing all night concerning the number of deaths and shooters.
This girl came to English today to see the teacher. She goes to Dawson... she was there. I swear, she was shaking while she was telling the teacher (not so quietly) what happened.
A friend of mine is close to two people who were shot. D:

The more background we learn on this shooter, the more disgusted I get. Did anyone recall the contents of his post/blog? This guy died for nothing. He killed for nothing. Because he contradicted everything he meant to take a stand for. Through his actions he demonstrated the ignorance and folly of mankind in its purest form; the very things he so despised and thought himself above.
Metal and goth?
That stupid b*****d gives metal a bad name. As if it didn't get enough bad publicity before. Just wait until they root through his music selection, and find other media scapegoats to blame this on. Then again, they do not even need to search - he provided it all for them. Thanks for backstabbing something you cherished, Angel of Idiocy.
There isn't a grave shallow enough to throw this jackass in.

I have a new theory. He did this because he was ugly. And exactly two hours after that last post, it started. Ooohh, he was drunk. Didn't hear that in the news...

I learned more about the shooting from this thread than the news. I heard it briefly on the radio, but it was a music station, so they didn't go into much detail. I sure hope the people injured will be alright... crazy person.

Everyone thinks I go to Dawson. Today, I went to work and everyone jumped on me asking, "Oh my gosh! Are you ok? I hope you didn't get too hurt during the Dawson tragedy." I just stared at them and reply, "Urm.. but I don't go to Dawson." xD However, it's weird, because they believe that among the 200 employees in Simons, I'm the only one that actually goes to Dawson. xD

Read the article about it in The Province. Said he lived in his parents basement, played World of Warcraft, and listened to heavy metal like Ozzy Osbourne and (shock) Marylin Manson.
Oh, they're gonna have a field day with this kid. "ZOMG nerds are teh evil!!1" (judging by the description of his interests, he wasn't a goth or an emo; he was clearly a nerd).
