My hometown is made up basically of all Newfoundlanders.
I heard that commercial you're talking about. I actually thought it was cool. Maybe it's just me though.. confused
I know some people Newfoundlanders don't like being called Newfies.

Well, not know-know. Nobody I know talks much about Newfoundland, or any of the provinces in general. Except in Social Studies... where everyone pronounces it "New-Found-Land". rolleyes

Well, you're supposed to say "New-fin-land". It's just that nobody here actually does. It gets a bit annoying after a while.
