Natsuki layed in her bed. The fever was still quite high. She was still sucking on the ice it melted quite fast. She was almost out. She looked at the pager so she could cal Brandon. Natsuki perssed the small red butten to call him. Seh now just had to wat for him to come back.
Karin sighed. She was falling apart. So much was happening to her. Karin coughed hard as a large amount of blood spat out from her mouth. She did know the only way TB was spread was when it was airborn. So if she coughed, most lily someone would be infected, or could get infected. She coughed once more. "How many medications do I have to take?" she ased. She new she was already on three or four pills a liqud and the tehre was the IVs. But how many more was she going to have to take.

Brandon ran the numbers "No idea how long it has gone unseen. So about four to be safe that you arn't a hazard and then two to finish the job. That is assumeing this blows over but... Second thought this should be pretty easy to cover with a little help." his pager whent off and he looked at it. He looked at karin and sighed "For now I have to go but I will be back in no more than an hour, and I know that seems like forever but I have to go do some things. So be brave for a little bit longer, Ok?" he said and left the room. He made his way down the hall at a fast pace grabbing a clipboard on the way and then running the rest of the way to natsuki's room. He opened the door "Sorry I took so long I am haveing some problems."

Natsuki brought her glace up. Her face was pail and she slowly held up the empty bucket of ice. "How is she doing. Did she recover well. Or should I say is she recovering well?" se asked smiling slightly at him. She looked a t him with a bit of concern when she heard him sasy that he was having problem.s "What's the matter?" she asked with a curios face.

He walked to the bed and put his hand on her forhead and grabbed the bucket with his other hand. "She is sick still and I had to call in one of the older doctors to get the cause. She has TB as odd as that seems." he pulled his hand off her head and then ran it through his hair. "And I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I hate loseing patients to them dogs, and TB is fifty fifty that they take them away." he said

She looked at him curiosly. "TB. You're kidding? No way..... hmmm. You're probably right. Try to keep it a secret. A scientist can't touch a patient while their in recovery. I have a feeling she may need another surgery," she said. I studied into itu. The cause of her fevers were unsure, I'm still unsure but it could possably be a brain tumor," she said looking at him. "But when I searched her with a scan verything was fine, so maby this is why. But still Scientists can't touch a patient if their in the ICU as well. And right now. She is definitly able to go there. She is going to find it harder to recover now that the cause has show it self. Make sure she is wearing a mask as well," I also have a request. I studied under a famous doctor. Someone who had lsot their whole eye. My mentor was able to give the person sight again. He tought me how to do it. I'm not a scientist or anything. But she looks as if she could see some light..." she said.

Brandon nodded as he listened trying to get things set in his mind to set about them. He tilted his head "Really alright I'll run it past her, you know I won't do anything if she doesn't want to." he said and then sighed and rubbed his temple his mind felt like it was starting to fry from all the annoyance.

She looked at him with concern. "You should really get some sleep." she said..... also. It might be a good thing to get teste for TBas well. If I'm correct the strep throat made her cough alot. If that cough some how seeped away so it's air bborn it could spread the infection of TB because TB can nly cling on to other people if it's air boen," she said with a sigh it would probably be a good thing if she were to get tested as well. She curled up intoa ball and rested her head against her knees. Her face was completly pale and she looked horrible.

Brandon sighed "I don't have time to sleep, and there isn't a lockdown this time." he set the bucket down and walked over putting his hand on her shoulder "Hey you alright? After all I may hate to lose patients but I really wouldn't be able to live with myself if I lost you." he said in a soft tone.

She shook her head. She felt horible. The fever was takng a tollon her after not having one for so long. "No... The surgery before tok a toll on me. Loosing so much blood that I'm still recovering from isreally starting to kick in but I still feel sick from the fever." She felt like she wanted to lean on someone...

Brandon sat down on the bed and put his arms around her "Well thats no good. Though you know I think that we both need some sleep." he said knowing that both of their bodys needed to recover and rest was the best way to do that.

Natsuki blushed slightly but closed her eyes. She relaxed some. "Din't I say that to? To get some rest a few mminutes ago?" she asked him But she new she needed to rest. The IVs were starting to bug her but she new they still had to stay in. She started to drift off to sleep in his arms. Soon she was asleep.
Karin grew impatient even though it hadn't been that long. She was also feeling horrible. She continued to cough. Her hands were filled with blood from her mouth. There was now blood all on her sheets. She reached for her hand for the buten to call back brandon. Karin pressed it and then went back into a coughing fit.

Brandon sighed slighly and slowly moved out from under her and laid her down kissing her forehead. "Sorry but I still don't get to. Even though I want to." he said and left going back to karins room. He walked in holding a clipboard he had picked up with a bunch of information on, he tossed it aside when he got in the room and whent over to her he grabbed a bottle out of his pocket he knew she would have to stop coughing for a minute to be able to take it. "Sorry I left you alone, I should have gotten back faster." he said putting his hand on her shoulder. He ran through things in his head and tried to remember the stages of TB that he had read.

Karin coughed once more. Into her hands. She noticed the bottel of medicine and then sighed. This felt like it would be horror for her. "Are you sure it's....... TB" she said. She could barely stop coughing to talk. Blood was splattered almost every where.

Brandon nodded "Yea I'm sure that other doctor was right, I did the reading on it and there is nothing else with your symptomes." he sighed and sighed wishing he could give he the medication already. Because it should help the cough.

Karin looked down at her sheets. "How long does it last?" she croaked. But she had stopped coughing. But for how long? Her throat hurt. "Can I get somthing else to eat?" she croaked once more. She looked completly saddened.
