daniel smiled and licked the top of franks head. " yes, without him the madness would have filled my mind, and without me frank here would have died or worse been eaten." Daniel smiled as he looked at zoey.

She shuddered. "why must you lick zhings..?" she asked. Zoey shook her head. she looked down, nervously playing with the wire of her headphones. "monsiuer Vyral.. he told me you are so rough on me.. because i remind you of your weapon.." she glanced over at him then back at the ground. "is zhis true?"

daniels head snapped up his eyes changed to show black with red pupils. " maybe vyral should learn when to speak and when to remain silent.... But yes he is correct." daniels eyes slowly turned normal as frank snored loudly.

she nodded. "sorry monisuer.. i'll stop talking.." she got up and looked at him, she had more questions but she didn't want to anger him. "i should be getting to my dorm.." she said and started walking back to the castle.

daniel looked at zoey as if she was see through. " why dont you ask the questions i can feel in you? afraid of the answers or just afraid of me?" Daniels voice wasnt playful but cold and hollow.

she stopped, not looking at him. She didnt realize til then that her music had turned off and she could hear daniel loud and clear again. "a little of both.." it was obvious she was shaking out of nerves, but she needed the answers. "she died because of a kishin?" she paused. "and.. why do i remind you of her? zhe only reasons i was told was zhat i look like ehr and i could punch you.." another pause. "also.. why become a kishin after she.. died.."

daniel smirked. " she died because of me, our mission was to get a witches soul to make her a death scythe. You see i have a lust for death i enjoyed it in my human days, after all i was raised by the teachers of that academy to be an unstoppable miester. but when i got to intense in a battle resonance was iffy because of that the last blow broke resonance and she died." Zoey nodded. "but why zhough? why not become a teacher or somezhing and teach students how important it is.." she adjusted her headphones so they laid around her neck. "monsieur vyral.. he also said zhat you would be upset if i died.. zhis confused me.. i dont know if it is true or not, but if so why?"

Daniel looked at zoey. " because i dont wanna teach students, i was forced by lord death to go into battle after telling him i wasn't ready. you see teaching students wont help, im going to kill lord death and become a guard of lady shira" daniel continued staring at zoey. " i would be upset if you died, its hard to explain, kinda just something i cant avoid. when i first saw you it shook my very soul almost sent a calm over the power ive gained just like she did." Vi hugged cedrick back. I really hope they are. She thought. "Ive gone two years on my own. I stronger than most. But whenever I hear about death... I remember my mom and dad." Vi said holding back tears.
