The Rockruff's fangs would tear into the Fairy Pokemon's flesh, electricity scorching the around the fang marks as it burned from the inside and caused the Snubbull's muscles to seize. Aida had mocked her for many things, but there was no denying the shear raw power in this canine!
">Me, eat YOU!<" The Rockruff declared, actually taking the time to show off Aida's blood on her fangs, before licking and swallowing. An unsettling gesture, but it proved how serious she was about it.
Paws pressing against the dirt, the Rock-type would proceed to scamper away following this initial conflict. Hit and run, that was the best way to strike when hunting prey alone.
Onyxia watched the Pokemon and then began to dance. She did a few different/modern dance styles. She wished she had her phone or even just a boom box. She kept dancing, trying to even out preform her a little. "You are an amazing dancer by the way."
Onyxia started out strong, but would quickly prove she had weak ankles. An excellent start, but a steadily weakening performance unlike her opponent. Unsurprisingly the girl's lowest score would come from the Budew....there was always a Sinnoh Judge.
In a stunning upset however the pair would end up with a perfectly matched score. For this first round they had come up as equals....but this WAS only the first round.
Furling her wings as though she were snapping, the Oricorio would snap her beak and create a wisp of flame. In a whirl of feathers and weak embers, the Flying-type would dance around the 'stage' passionately. A fire had been lit in her eyes and breast. This one had proven her equal so far; but would they be able to keep up!?
Finishing rather boldly, it would be clear it was Onyxia's turn once again!
Onyxia watched the Pokemon once more. Nodding as she watched her opponent dance again, she had to admit her opponent was really good. When her turn to dance popped up she once again went with the copy idea. Copying her opponent and trying to do the dance move better. It was hard to keep up since her opponent could use some flight as well.
Onyxia would pay for her actions rather swiftly. After all though she started off the same as her opponent, she was a mere imitation and it would show. She lacked the grace or passion in her movements held by the Oricorio. To make matters worse, the Judges wanted to see something new and original, not a cheap copy of the previous participant. There'd be an additional score this time, as though the judges had not increased, the band had started chiming in with their own score.
This wasn't over yet however; all good things came in threes, and it was time for the finishing performance!
With deft movements, her eyes still blazing despite her disappointment in Onyxia, the Oricorio would continue to dance. It was like she was flying, yet both feet were still on the ground, or at least one of them was with each successive move. Truly she was a master of the dance!
Onyxia grumbled a little as she fumbled a few of her steps. With a sigh she kept going, giving it her best. "Okay... jealous of those steps." She kept dancing, even Ordo joined in the dance as well. "Okay bud, she's good." She and Ordo danced together in competition.

"... what..." Nim muttered, glancing nervously between the Vespiquen, the Combee trio, and Eins. The last of these was fidgeting from side to side, squeaking nervously. Whatever was going on, she probably should have just left it be... but instead, she followed her Mimikyu's guidance to follow and point at the middle one.
[7/10]
Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 4 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. [[14+5]-11]+[9-11] = 6 / 2 = 3 DMG! Pachirisu is at 14 HP!
/A veggie-tarry what?/ The Pachirisu stared at the Murkrow, brow furrowed. He absentmindedly reached up to rub the spot where Chrono's attack had landed; it didn't hurt that much, but it still stung annoyingly. He glared up at the bird irritably, huge tail lashing. /I wanna eat you because you're annoying, ya chatty featherduster! And because you're on my turf. I get to eat whatever's on my turf!/ Impeccable logic, but probably not Un-Peck-able logic. Instead of throwing himself at Chrono, he'd sit back and Growl loudly.
Polaris' delicate actions wouldn't acquire him anything more than a squishy lump of moss and algae. So much for avoiding a mess!
Rille's enthusiastic dive would merely push the balls away from him, and into the waiting arms of the Surskit, who skittered away squeaking loudly.
Sol and Umbra, however, still perhaps connected by the strange incident with the windmill would find... some success. Not the kind they might have wished for, unfortunately. Each would fine themselves holding half of an Oran Berry, split by some force of nature. Unfortunately, gluing it back together wouldn't work, but these items weren't totally useless!
[[Sol gains x2 1/2 Oran Berries!]]

Aria Cote
- Battle Information - [Isolde missed!] [Isolde attempts to dodge!]
As embarrassing as it likely sounded, the rock managed to outroll the shards of ice flung at it. Isolde gave a disheartened squeak as she tried to keep her distance from the roggenrola. Her first fight since agreeing to go with Aria and she was performing quite poorly! She had to step things up, but first she needed to make sure she didn't get knocked out by a stray attack.
- Traveling down Everlast Summit (paused) - [4/10]
She was too slow, too horrible slow as Tiye saw the pain that flash on the pokemon's face. The blood that trickled down her side from the bite that had literally nearly torn her pokemon apart.
It was a hard blow, and Tiye was in shock as her pokemon whimper in pain. The entire battle had changed in an instant, as the shock of the experience would run up and down the Snubbull's spine and the pokemon's body would seem to lock up all at once.
Paralyzed .
This was not good, not good at all as Tiye would take a chance as the Rockruff would put some distance between them and the girl would make a decision.
"Bad breeding, but strong. I can work with that."
She would throw a pokeball hard at the pokemon's back.
The scores would come in and a roar would come from the 'crowd' although the Oricorio had started with a bang, some of her moves flowing flawlessly into one another, she had ultimately....burned out at the end of her performance. It had only been by a little; but Onyxia had won this round. Sadly that was only this round. Ultimately, of a three round competition, this was a tie. The girl had not truly wowed the audience, but she hadn't exactly disappointed them either.
Numerous flowers would be thrown upon the stage, all worthless common species of course, including a few dandelions actually. Yet the girl would not be left entirely unrewarded.
Striding forward, the Oricorio would bow to her "equal" and present Onyxia with a small jar of Honey. The following moment, all present would disperse, and Onyxia would be left along amidst the flower petals!
">AHA! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT!<"The Queen screamed frantically, waving her arms almost like a second pair of wings ">SHE'S AN AGENT OF THE RED QUEEN! TOO DIM TO TELL MY DAUGHTER FROM THE OTHERS! DRONES GET HEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!<" The Vespiquen wailed, her breaths coming out in deep, rapid huffs and puffs. So intense were her emotions a moment later the Vespiquen would physically faint, being carted off by a collection of her servants knitted together in the shape of a bed.
From amidst her remaining servants, a sharp cry of ">FOR THE QUEEN!<" Would come, one of the Male Combee buzzing forth from the crowd to block Nim's path. With shifty eyes and a sly wing however, the Combee would lean forward,,stating from the face opposite the one who'd given the cry ">Look sorry about this. Queenie get's a little...overzealous when she thinks her sister is involved<" Still orders were orders....not to mention....
">FOR THE QUEEEEEEEEEEEEN!!!!!<" The right face buzzed loudly.
....There was that guy on the other side.
Oddly the third face seemed to be asleep. Seemed not every Combee was exactly unified. Or maybe this one was just....Quirky. Either way Nim was in for a fight!

In the Garden of Monsters
The disappoint was written across Sol's face as he recalled two of his Pokemon and rubbed the bridge of his nose. These weren't PokeBalls, Monogrammed Balls, Cursed Souvenirs, or even effective Healing Items. These were....were....an afternoon snack.
BAH. He supposed he could wedge the seeds out and plant them back on the land....not that growing Oran Berries in the middle of a barren dustbowl would be easy, but at least they'd get lots of sunlight and he had an unlimited water supply available.
Stuffing the berries into the backpack wielded by Umbra, the boy would continue forward into the unknown!
Starter Pokemon: Golett Name & Level: Umbra, Lv 4 [Temperament] Brave Bio: Shaped from clay and given life centuries ago, this Golett was created with a singular purpose: to serve the people of his homeland. In times of peace that meant simple feats of strength, hauling limber and iron. In times of war...acts far more grim in nature. His last images of a world long lost to the sands of time, were of his comrades and redness of flame. Then....darkness.
When he rose again it was to the shattered ruins of what once was, and the broken forms of other Golett. He wandered the remains of the castle for a time, but departed before long. There was no point in protecting a land which had been forgotten by the ages, and so he went in search of a new "purpose". It was this same search that would lead him to the tunnels beneath Roshan City. A veritable maze, the tunnels see frequent use by smugglers and those of less than legal enterprises. It was here that he encountered Sol, and where he found purpose once more. Dubbed "Umbra" by the boy, he once more found himself with a home and people to serve; but in his ticking "heart" he knew it was only a matter of time before he once more graced the battlefield.
Walking across the golf greens, and around the occasional replica of various monuments, Sol would wring out his sweater. Obviously it had proven quite absorbent in the face of all that water from the pond. Not to mention a wet sweater was heavy....would this have been better or worse in the steam fields?
