Yakov kissed Jeff on the cheek. "Not everyone in the family can sing. It's not as pretty as you may think it would be. But if was fun and no one really cared how bad we sounded."

Jeff sighed and kept his eyes closed. He wasn't really tired but his body was sore and he didn't want to be awake anymore to care about it.

It was rather early the next morning when Yakov woke up. He really just wanted to lie there forever, but he had to know how Jeff was doing. "Jeff, you awake?"

Jeff was already awake when Yakov came to. He smiled at him and shrugged. He winced a little but it wasn't as bad as the night before. "Ok...not too bad...still painful...though..." He figured he was done trying to lie to Yakov.
