"well...I'm at the animal shelter with a new girl...and Hikaru just left...not really sure why or where...every one else....not sure..." she said as Gawain flew up and circled above the girl's head.

"oh, alright.." Sighing loudly rikku began to think "You dont know where he went? That's weird..Hey, do you care if i head down to the shelter for a bit? I kinda dont wanna be home alone..."

"um...yeah sure..." she said as the phone almost fell off her hand "well...see ya later!" she said before she hung up.

Rikku shut the phone and quickly ran to her cloest..."What to wear, what to wear" she mumbled to herself..surely..there had to be something somewere. "Aha" pulling out her tripp pants with the pink trim she quickly shoved them on with a greenday shirt, laced up her boots and ran for the door. Arriveing at the shelter rikku rang the bell at the front desk.

Remix walked over to the girl "names remix by the way...and I'll just go get Rikku..." she said before passing her and running to the office "Rikku!" she called out as she stopped by the stairs.

Jumping with surprise rikku laughed "Hey, sorry about such short notice..im just bored out of my mind and rose and akira arent picking up there phone" pouting rikku looked around..."so whats there to do around here?"

"theres a new girl..shes by the dog kennels.." she said as she motioned Rikku to follow her as she started walking around the corner.

Rikku followed in suit after remix "Did she just start working here or something" Looking at all the cute animals rikku felt warm inside...maybe she needed a pet.

"really Hikaru he didnt seem so social the last time i talked to him" frowning a lil rikku wondred if there was something wrong with her to make him not like her right off the bat "Aww what's this birds name he's really quite cute, can i pet it"? Rikku reached up but stopped not sure if the bird would bite. she had heard that a bird bite was painful.

"Hikaru?? oh...maybe cause he might have been reading...he usually ignores everything when he's reading his book...and this is Gawain" she said as she motioned Gawain to go to her arm, Gawain walked carefully as he got to her arm "and sure..you can pet him.." she said ruffling his feathers.

There was a brief bit of shouting down the hall before a slightly distressed doctor led a calmer Hikaru into the room where his brother was. He looked at the people in the room along with his brother. Avoiding eye contact with Akira before his eyes finally fell apon his brother. He just stood there in the doorway, not knowing what to say.

Rose bit her lip. She didn't care what the doctor said. Standing up she walked past him with a small limp. The doctor looked at her shocked.
Rose didn't want to really be noticed in the wheel chair. As she walked past him her voice sounded small. "S-sorry." Leaving the room, she stumbled out and cringed. Her legs were killing her. Seeing this, the doctor rushed over with another wheel chair. Reluctantly, Rose was put in it.
