Brandon handed her a cup of medication. "Not for ten minutes or so but then if you don't start coughing like that again I think we can work something out." he said then sighed "As far as lasting efects that medication is special prescription, its got a veary mild sedative, something to stop the coughing, and a medium strangth anti-biotic for the tb." he said wondering again why he hadn't though to give her this sooner. He had a friend that worked with multipul fighting medications to try and fix ilnesses like this. Though he was for once glad that it was in this hospitole. Because it was the only one he knew of that was allowed to use them

She looked at the medicine and grimaced. She looked down at the bed. Holding the small amount of medicine in her hand. "I had TB once before. A year ago. About the six medications they gave me. I had to take them for twelve months. I stopped taking it a month before I shoud have. No one knows about it but me. I ha d recently read somthing as well. If you didn't finish all the medicine. You would most likly develope some sort of other syndrome. Something more danjrous. Every one who had T before me stopped taking there medicine and died because of a syndrome caused by not taking the medication. Has my TB come back from that, would I have the other syndrome as well?" she saked. She amde a dry cough from talking to much. The strep thrppat was hurting her as well. She swallowed the medicine. Piper came closer to her. he patted its head.

Brandon sighed thinking abouteverything he knew about virusis. he sat down and stared at the floor "Well really not a pro on TB, but that type of thing is usually the case for all viral, and batctreaial infections. Caused by mutations and adaption to the medication by the parts of it that arn't killed off right away. As far as you haveing extra syndromes, not sure yet but that can be as mild as getting strep, and the constant pain in your throat, along with all the other complications. But it could mean that any medication baced on the same thing as you took before won't work, or the virus could mutate into something worse, don't ask me what though." he said sighing

Karin looked down at her sheets. "Oh," her cough had stopped for the time being. "Can I have something to eat now. Something more solid mashed potatoes I would love some of that," she said. She didn't want any more soup. She wasn't going to survive if she kept that up."Please," she asked. She gave another dry cough because of the talking she did.

Brandon sighed "I am going to give you one more medication for that cough, and if you stop coughing for a bit I will get you something more solid." he said and walked over to the door "I'll be back in a few minutes."

Karin sighed. "Fine," she layed back on her pillow. She was feeling aquard and scared that she couldn't see. "Is there any way I'll be able to see again?" she asked. Piper licked her face. "YUCK! Sog breath! Piper!" she said in a wisper. The mucas in her throat had clotted up making her voice faint. She cleared her throat but that hurt but she was able to talk normler.

Brandon wanted to kick himself for forgeting about that "Actually there may be but its kind of chancey from what I get out of it. And the first things is getting you cured of this." he said then walked out and down the hall to get the medication. He walked back in a few minutes later, he came over and handed it to her. He had already called the food to be sent in a few minutes.

Karin tried to find the medicine that was being handed to her but couldn't wuite find and grasp it. "Ummm a little help?" she asked. "... I age. I want to have my eye sight back " she said. She looked down seeing darkness.

Brandon nodded and moved her hand gently to the medication. "Alright then its understandable to want your sight back." he said wishing he knew a better way to help. He wished he would have cought this before she had gone through the operation, better yet that he would have just been able to help her when she had gotten here, and keep an eye out for her.

Karin took the medication. She put it in her mouth and her face made a wierd face. She choked slightly but it went down. "Now I remember wy I stopped taking my medication," she said. "Can I eat now?" her stomach growled. "Preaty please?" she pleaded. he coughed slightly again but it wasn't much.

Brandon smiled softly "Yea alright you can eat now. But only if you promise me that your going to take all of the medicatilon this time. If it isn't totally dead this time you probably will be. Because there is only so far medication can take you and if the infection becomes immune to drugs then there are major problems

Karin's face slightly brightned. Itt saddened after hearin she had to take all the medications. "Fine," she said her voice sort of low. "Can I have steak?" sheasked. She felt up to it, or at least her stomach did she wasn't sure about her throat.
Natsuki's eyes opened. Her fever was still there but she figured she had knocked down a deggree or two. She wondered what had happened. She looked around. "Brandon?" she asked looking around some more. She tried to move a bit but she couldn't. She reached for her pager and pressed it. "I wonder if he's awake?" she said out loud.

Brandon laughed at her question "Steak? Really now, well I don't know but we can see. Though it will be a little bit before I can get it for you." his pager whent off and he sighed "I'll have it prepared and be back with it when its done." he said and headed out of the room heading back to Natsuki's room. He was starting to think that he needed to get karin moved closer to her room. He got to the door and opened it "Hey you alright? What do you need?" he asked slightly out of breath

She lookded up glad to see that he was alright. "Can I get some whater?" she asked. "With water?" she felt thirsty now remembering she hadn't had anything to drink for a while. She tried to get up from her bed. She was getting tired of staying in it.Her fever still lingered though.

Brandon smiled "Sure just as long as you stay in bed." he said knowing she shouldn't move around just yet. And although he hated keeping people in bed he knew in this case it was for the best. He whent and got her a tall glass of water and brought it back to her
