-the dog ran over to him licking him and she looked in the car- by the looks of it the car was used not to long ago and theres food every where in the back seat -she looked back at him and did a puppy dog face- can we keep the dog

Damon laughed and pet the dog lightly."course we can.come on boy come on does he like a belly rub?"Damon said scratching the dog's tummy."It needs a name..."Damon looked up at wolfie."I never did have a dog before."

"Nope.Parents were allergic."Damon quickly explained.

shame -she looked at the dog- i used to have a dog name rover but he was killed...-she looked away staring at the trees-

"Aw thats terrible."Damon said softly.He was still rubbing the dog's belly.

yea but he died a hero which is good to me -she walked to the dog and rubbed its face-

"Yeah..."Damon said quietly."I wish there were more heros in this day and age."

i think we are heroes,were trying to fight these zombies,risking are lifes doing so -she smiled a little and she rub her neck-

"I mean at some point i believe everybody's a hero just for surviving but i mean a hero among heros."Damon said calmly.

ok -she looked at her feet-

"personally.I feel like this is awsome.Not the infection but all the stuff i can do that used to be illegal."Damon said with a slight smile.

yea -she played with her necklace before taking it off and throwing it far away- now that its gone

After a moment of silence, Richie made up his mind and turned sharply off the road, going across the median and over a short field to the other road, stopping before he actually reached the road. He unlocked the doors, opened his door and tried to get out, minding his leg.

Maryse watched as Richie struggled out of the driver seat. "Hey," she said, and handed him the M4, "Use this as a crutch." She smiled slightly as he took it, then got out of the passenger seat. Her hand went to the Beretta at her side. She didn't draw it, but she held it firmly, ready to draw at a moment's notice.

"I feel as if I should go get that..."Damon said watching the necklace sail through the air.
