After the turtle sunning patch Zurine seemed to find one of those jungle dead zones she'd passed through a few times - or maybe it was the same spot she'd already walked through, it was hard to tell really - the jungle all looked the same and Zurine had no idea where she was by this point.

This was a very large deadspot - surely it was one she hadn't walked through already. Maybe she'd be lucky once she got to the other side.

The wolf wasn't about to be caught that easily however and ducked away from her. Frowning slightly Zurine pursued it.

This time it was a stand off and Zurine matched the wolfs stare with one of her own.

When the wolf finally broke the stare it was only to run off again.

Throwing her rope Zurine managed to get it around the wolfs neck. Before it could try to run off again she tugged it tight.

Either the wolf was tired..or it was responding to Zurine new found irritatin at being led through the jungle for so long but regardless when she pulled the rope tight and gave it a yank the wolf barely struggled and she managed to convince it to follow her back towards class. She had her mount and it was a pretty one too!
On the way back to class...as her irritation over how long it had taken and how tired she was of stomping through the jungle seemed to wane a bit Zurine began to bond with her wolf a little bot more. "I was going to call you Prince.."She told the male wolf beside her "But that doesn't seem to suit you now that I've seen you" She went on babbling at the creature. "No I think I'll call you....Joker" She stated firmly "Except the jokes on you because you got caught!"Wolf - 0 Zurine - 2 Marushii MOUNT GET! Character Name: Zurine Mount Acquired: Wolf

Mercy was hastily woken when she hadn't showed up at class earlier. She hustled into her normal black dress and made her way towards where her class was taking place.She was surprised to find that today was about finding a mount. She slowly went off to find a mount. She was at less than 100 percent brain capacity at this point, so she just hoped she didnt accidently trip over one of the animals.
She had been out in the jungle for a while, picking through brush and walking over giant logs when she came across a very large tarantula. She clasped her hands over her mouth, trying to refrain from screaming or doing anything to upset it. This had to be her "mount" knowing her luck she wouldnt come across another animal anytime soon.

She began to earn the respect of the giant tarantula.She decided to be friendly towards the tarantula, and captured a few crickets to appease its appetite. But this failed as the tarantula wanted nothing to do with Mercy. She frowned. She wasn't about to let it win.

She summoned her fear to make herelf look intimidating, she tried it the nice way earlier, now she was gonig the mean way. She boosted herself but yet the tarantula wanted no part of her. It ambled off into the jungle, to leave Mercy to find yet another mount to try to tame.
