He blinked. "Why?" he asked. He knew he didn't like it when she was hurt, but he still wasn't fully sure why. Besides not being the kind of pony that delighted in the pain of others, that was. Some how when she had been hurt, specifically, he had been scared, worried, anxious, and afraid. But he hadn't reacted that way to the pain of anyone else fighting their way through the lava.
