Chance items mean you have a chance at getting a super cool rare item or something that's worse less than the CI. I personally don't like them, but we could give it a shot. If the person who wins it doesn't like it, they can sell it anyway. I'm glad you know someone, the graphics for Hades' room last year was awesome biggrin
So, I'm going to start working on the tektek contest idea. I should have it by Wednesday...PROBABLY.

hey guys, sorry for not posting in a bit, but i've had appointments out the wazoo. it was off to the doctors for a physical and now they think i have turners syndrome (look it up, i'm not saying anything) so i had to give 3 vials of blood for them to examine, then i had eye appointments with my mom and brother, then yesterday we we had to go order new glasses which will be in in just a few days, then night of the 14'th were heading to see the midnight release of HP7P2, and my brother has his own physical not to mention he has to get a refferral to get his back examined because he has schooliosis... we've been all over the place for about a week, week and a half... yeah... iiiiiit's been hectic... believe me, the ball is very important, but at this point, with my parents divorced and us low on cash and about to move come september, october, RL is a bit more important... BUT! do not let that mae you think i'm abandoning the ball! believe me, i will make as much time as possible and i WILL be online whenever i can! i have a question that might help if answered "yes" ...does anyone here have skype? i'm not on yahoo as much anymore, i mostly use skype now. so if anyone here has skype, look up "muffin lover navi" and you'll find me. shoot me a request, and please make sure to let me know who you are in the optional message, it would make things so much easier, thanks.

Sailor, I know I have a skype account but I have no idea what it is anymore -.- Just try to check in more often, alright? Right now we're trying to get the room introductions written and the contests made up.

On a different note, I doubt I'll be on much/at all in the next week. I have a serious issue that needs to be worked out with a friend and I just need to focus on that for a bit >.< But shu, if you're available would you like to meet up Saturday night for some planning? We need to get the last riddle done and the Yeti part of the plot figured out >.<

Yui, Cakes, Shiina, and Sub, where are you guys? We need all of you active and posting, otherwise we can't get this done.

Here is my room description, it is finally finished. Enjoy!

A small tower in the distance catches your eye. As you start to walk towards it you realise it isn’t as small as you had thought. You walk curiously down a long stretch that you assume is a front garden. Snow is covering the ground and you stop to stare at the breath-taking scenery surrounding the mansion. You pull your eyes away from the mountains and continue down the garden. You are half way across the courtyard when you pass a sign. It reads “Haus D’Amour”. Your beginning to feel the mountain chill sink into your skin so you quicken your pace unsure whether you have dressed accordingly. You eventually reach the steps, which are surprisingly worn down, but then you wonder if they are worn from the weather or from use. Shaking your head to clear your thoughts you climb the stairs. When you reach the top you tap the large brass knocker, and glance up at the mansion. It has large oak doors with brass handles and the whole appearance of the mansion is old fashioned but comfortably so. The doors swing open and you smile and step in the classy mansion. You are instantly greeted by a man in gold and white, with a mess of black hair, and surprisingly the mess of hair made him look smarter. You find the man you were greeted by was James and another man drifts into the room. You discover his name is Juan, and he introduces you to the man shadowed in the corner. His name is Luke. You are escorted by Juan to the ballroom where you meet Mitsukai, Reine and Rosetta Rae. You can’t help thinking to yourself “this is going to be one heck of a ball” with a smile creeping onto your face.

After a LOT of writer's block i have finally done the intro. Make of it what you will! xd heart

You open your eyes, blinking to adjust to the light. You are sat on soft red carpet, in what looks like a long hallway. You stumble to get up. The lighting is dim and you can barely see anything. You start walking down the hallway and notice a light at the end. In your excitement to reach the end, you start running and trip over something small and flat. You dust yourself off and look to find what tripped you up. You pick up a small gold plaque saying Haus D’Amour. You look around to see where it came from and you are startled to find a gold door with a positive glow emanating from it. You forget about the light down the hallway and curiously reach out and grab the handle. The door swings open and you are pulled into the light. You suddenly arrive at an archway with Haus D’Amour written in it. The cold winter wind strikes you and you notice a large classy mansion a bit of a way a way. Snowflakes fall around you and you start down the snow covered garden. When you reach the door you are greeted by a tall man with neatly combed black hair and glistening green eyes. “Welcome to Haus D’Amour, I am Juan and this Luke, my brother” he says warmly, referring to a younger man who also had green eyes and black hair, though it was a lot messier. He is wearing black clothes and has many tattoos. A white dog is by his side. A bit further along you see a young woman with curly pink hair and an angel imp. She introduces herself as Mitsukai. You are led into the ballroom and a young man with dark hair greets you. He is named James, and he runs the bar. You also see a young woman with light brown hair, whose name is Rosetta Rae. Your eye is drawn to the corner where you see a dark looking woman with green hair and green eyes. She glares at you from across the room and you decide not to approach, but you are quickly informed that her name is Reine, from Juan. Everyone else enters the ballroom and the party begins...enjoy.....

HARRY POTTER IS LOVE. 8D <3 LOL I cracked up when Harry and Voldermort were standing at the edge of the building and he said 'You want to end this? Then let's end this together!' And they both jumped off together. LOLOLOL. XD It was like 'You jump I jump' scenario. Ah, the wonders of loooove~ XD But be glad it ended. I rather Harry Potter had an amazing ending that rings across the decades all across the world rather than stretch on and on and on... Like Inuyasha. .__. But it was amazing. 8D

Right. Uhm. I'm ordering layouts from Harmonica in the Ball, and we're all waiting for Sailor to publish her room intro by this Saturday. .__. At least, the deadline is Saturday. If she can't get anything done by then I'm just gonna move on. Keep the ideas coming for the prizes! Big Brother Love mule is receiving the Gold from Lady A, so as long as we finish discussing it all... We'll be able to get the prizes. Remember: We have 5 contests. We need to consider prizes for all of them. Worse comes to worst I'll just hack up some of my Gaia cash. XD

Also guys. This is the countdown. We only have one month left to the Ball. So no more delays. This is the real deal. We need to get EVERYTHING done by this month, and this is definitely the most important month of all! We still have the room intro, prizes, layout, contest thread set-ups and main thread set-ups. As soon as the room intro is turned in, you guys will start on the contest thread set-ups for your own contest in the test forum. From then on, it will be your responsibility to hold up your own. For those of you working together, split the work evenly among yourselves, kay? ;D

For those who like to slack and delay... Let me tell you this. Your contest is your responsibility. I don't care what the reason is, but if you don't do well in this final month and make a mess of things, I'll probably get you off the team if it delays everyone else. I don't give a damn what your excuses are. I'm sick, working here with driving lessons that stretches pretty much half of my days, just finished a written driving test yesterday, writing fan fictions and doing house chores (including cooking) cause my parents are not around, not to mention looking after my little brother. Unless you can top that, like getting hit by a car or something, I'm sorry but I'm not gonna tolerate it. :/ When you committed yourself to the Ball, this is what is expected of you. In fact, all the other room hosts have it much harder. Many of them are in their final years of college/university, or have chosen a very difficult path to fulfill their lifelong dreams, and yet they could still find them to maintain the Ball. And it's because of people like them that the Ball runs well. And it's this kind of dedication we're looking for, not excuses, kay?

And Dusky. Can you make it this Friday your time? Or even any of the weekdays? I'm starting driving lessons and my weekends are kinda full. We still have to tie up loose ends. Also, THE MANSION MAP. Sub was editing those, wasn't he? D8 We need to get this finished soon.

A snow topped mountain with freezing winds. These are the conditions as you climb the mountain. As you climb, you see a warm and inviting mansion with thriving greenery. Thinking to escape the cold, you go towards it and are greeted by the mansions owners, welcoming you. You take part in the festivities, but do not be deterred by the sense of festiveness, for a dark spirit roams these halls, looking for her lost love. Do not stray far, travelers, as you enjoy gaia’s 9’th annual ball!

i had MAJOR writers block, so its not as good as my writing usually is, but i cranked up my music, and it helped a little bit...! XD
