The larvesta would be hit hard ....as it's back would skid along the ground and the water in that moment would swirl and churn in her chest. The water would extinguish the flames of the bug in an instant as it went still. The battle was now over .......as the bug lay with just a few flicks and twist of power of the dying flames around it.
Then it was still and moved no more.

Jade looked happy over the result of the battle. Romeo had done really well and the pair had worked together. The Ducklett didn't seem to hold any grudge over him and the young boy was relieved. It was obvious the more battles he went through, the higher the shy kid's confidence level was boosted. Being around pokemon seemed to help change people in both good or bad ways. Possibly both. The boy waited for the girl to call out her next pokemon, ready to see what she would choose. He pulled out the pokeball for the Ducklett, returning him as requested. Romeo let out a quack of triumph, ruffling his feathers with a slight shake. Dipping his head in what seemed to be a bow to his fallen opponent, the blue pokemon eyes turned into stars. If only his lovely Namiko was out to see his battle. She would be very happy and see how proud the duck was. Ah, how beautiful the Lapras was. Her shell shone like obsidian rocks, shiny and elegant but deadly as well. "Ah, poor thing."
The girl declares as she held the pokeball to her chest, and would then move to call out her next one. This time, the pokemon she released would float in the air ....as the ghost type would dart from one area to another before stopping above her head.
"So, you beat my first, but here is my second." "Rogue, let's give him a good showing this time."
She declares strictly as the Frillish would appear at her side. This was going to be a much more interesting battle, but this time, it was the boy's turn to show off his pokemon first. Thus, she waited.

Jade glanced at the Frillish and then thought about what pokemon to use. He had two pokemon with Dark type attacks that would give him a better advantage. Agreeing on something he picked out a pokeball and then released the pokemon. As the red light faded, his Umbreon stood in the way. It was obvious what his choice would be. The dark pokemon let his gaze hurriedly flicker, analyzing the situation. Nothing had attacked so far. They weren't on the island nor were they in the classroom. Spotting the girl and then the pokemon beside her, he realized what was at hand. A pokemon battle? At least it wasn't a bad situation this time. The dark pokemon was a little embarrased at how the last battle had gone. This time, he would make sure to show the kid just how powerful he was. There was no way he would let Kyo laugh at him again. The girl would look at the Umbreon with a mix expression of disbelief. Never would have gotten her to believe that a student at his level would have one of those, but she only cough politely as her pokemon took the field at her side.
The Frillish would waver in the air slightly.
"I see you are still looking for the tactical advantage." "But, don't think that will be enough to help you this time."
The girl would look over at her own pokemon.
"Defend."
The Frillish needed no other warning as each of her tentacles would come in front of her protectively.

Jade had to resist grinning at the expression on the girl's face. Even though he was still considered new, he'd been through a lot. The only thing that held him back was how long he had spent on the island. Unfortunately he wasn't some new kid wet behind the ears. He was a veteran. The boy was about to say something but realized Nyx knew what he was doing. The Frillish went on the defense and the dark pokemon was on the move. A mere blur of black as he darted forward. Circling before waiting for the right opening. Digging his paws into the ground, he charged using Thief. It was time to get a good attack in while the enemy was weak and get this over with. The Umbreon looked focused, hoping to use extra force by placing speed before slamming into the Frillish.Nyx the Umbreon, Lvl 4 [M] Temperament: Naughty HP: 22, PP: 21, ATK: 12, DEF: 15, SPD: 11, SP.ATK: 11, SP. It was truly the final counter-attack as both hits would collide ...the bubbles versus the powder snow as they seemed to be balanced between the two. The Frillish had turned to meet the assault, to keep it from being able to freeze them as she continues her bubble assault. It was an even match, or should have been as the Vaporeon would turn .... would into the midst of the bubbles they would curl around his skin like a shield as they protected him from the powder snow and pushing from behind give him an extra boost.
This was team work .....as he broke through it all and the combination move would hit the Spheal powerfully.

In a single hit, it was over as the Frillish went down. The girl would shriek in anger at this fate.
She would recall her instantly, and this time she would wait to see what the boy would call out for his next pokemon.

Jade watched as Nyx managed to knock the pokemon out with a one hit KO. Excellent. His team was really strong. That was a good thing, especially considering his choice in joining the academy founded by Team Rocket. The boy glanced at his belt with the pokeballs and returned Nyx and placed it back on his belt. Two down, at least one more victory left to go. He still had three pokemon remaining but one of them needed a little more training then the other two. The boy grabbed the ball and released the pokemon.Namiko emerged from the red light and the Lapras glanced around. Last time, her battle hadn't gone very well. In fact, the two boys Kyo and Nyx had leapt in to save her. This time, she'd have to do a lot better then that. The girl would raise one eyebrow a bit, to see the change took her a bit off target. But, it was one that she wasn't going to worry about long as she would send out her next pokemon. This one would crackle with energy as the two varies eggs would roll upon the ground.
"Humph, it's not over ..not at all, I can't lose anymore, but its possible."
She would retort seriously.
The pokemon that appeared was a grass and psychic type.
Exeggcute ....as the eggs seemed to be more than ready for this fight, as they would huddle together in defense..

Jade looked at the duo pokemon and thought for a second. They were at a slight disadvantage but hopefully Namiko could pull through. "Let us soothe this creature, Namiko." he called hopefully.Luckily the Lapras understood what was wanted of her. Instead of attacking, she began to sing a soothing, lulling melody hoping to put the egg pokemon to sleep. They had been expecting an attack, a clashing of powers, a mustering of strength, but what they got was a lullaby. The eggs were ill prepared for it as one would start to lean against the other and slowly they would start to sink into sleep as they snored openly.
The ploy had worked, and the eggs had been put to sleep.

Jade watched as the plan worked. Pleased, he watched as the eggs fell into a deep sleep. The boy glanced at Namiko and their gazes met. There was an immediate understanding and this time, no words needed to be said. The Lapras continued her singing for a couple moments after the pokemon had fallen asleep. Once she was sure, they wouldn't be waking up anytime soon, she then took a deep breath. The Lapras could feel the water within her body shooting up before she opened her maw and blasted out a Water Gun heading towards the sleeping eggs!
