Titus was finally back after a venture to the bathroom to wash his face. Once that was done he immediately started to work at the jacket that had been forced on him. How the hell had they gotten him into this thing so easily? It was tight around his chest and arms and didn't seem to want to go anywhere. His wings that were now crammed against his back twitched uncomfortably. Great.

Not saying a word fearing it would only come out again in rhyme, Titus moved back to the main area only to spot his name had been put back up on the roster....

Sura....

Sura.....

Who was that and why did it make him feel that somewhere the gods of this event truly hated him. His eyes glanced about and unknowingly catching sight of the person he was looking for. The sight of the colossus had Titus making a face but he didn't speak. Instead he jotted down table number three on a slip of paper along with the name Sura and left it on the table before he moved to have a seat.

Mitsu had wandered back to the main area to see what names had been posted and saw that she was with Herryk. Yet again it was another name she recognized and she smiled brightly looking for the large Nordic student knowing he shouldn't be too hard to spot.

"Herryk?" She stood on her tip toes trying to see over the people. Being short it was still hard to see.

Oh goodie. The roster was back up, and this time Riyo was paired with a boil... Who was yelling her name across the whole damn gym. The ghoul had actually been raiding the refreshment table, drowning her misery in sausages when her ears perked at the screeching of her new partner... Or at least she assumed that's who it was. Nobody would be screaming her name otherwise...

Except maybe Hel. But Riyo hadn't done anything to piss her off... Yet.

"I'm coming!" She shouted angrily, her words muffled by the food in her mouth.

Having returned to the main room from the game room, Herryk peered at the whiteboard to see who he'd been paired up with. A broad smile stretched across his features when he noticed the name - Mitsu!

Almost as if he'd summoned her by thinking of her, her quiet voice drifted to him. He caught sight of her in the crowd and lifted a hand to wave at the ghoul.

"Mitsu!"

Shuffling through the crowd, Herryk swiftly approached her. Beaming down at her, the draugr lifted his brows in question.

"Let us find a table. Does Mitsu prefer any in particular?"

Malodore slumped at their united refusal, its arms going limp and slipping free from their shoulders. Its hands balled into tight fists. "I cannot treat this," it said, forcefully, a deep misery permeating its voice. "Something is wrong, very wrong, and the others are not stupid. They will notice, and when they do they will be afraid and there will be no keeping secrets then. They all saw what happened to the Christmas beasts. It is not difficult to connect the points of data."

It took a shallow, sharp breath, a rather paltry attempt at calming itself. "Now, you are mostly lucid. What of tomorrow? What of an hour from now? We must act, and decisively, before the power of rational thought is stripped from your minds. We must seek ai-"

Its beak clacked shut, and it tilted its head to one side. "The Horsemen. Where are the Horsemen?"

Invi was in the Horsemen's Lair and totally missing out on the party because his player is a lazy butt who hasn't brought him out to play yet.

Riley was very right in what she said. The school would most likely quarantine them or worse yet... send them to the boogeys or something to be dealt with. That wasn't something he wanted, no. Jericho shifted nervously as Mal insisted they get some sort of help. Its words had some truth to them, but he was still very insistent on keeping this under wraps.

"Horssemen... They're not here. We have not seen them at all," he said, "We do not think the horssemen could help usss in this."

And finally, Jericho and Riley were at an impasse. She looked at the dragon even as he denied help from the horsemen, but her eyes were finally focused, sharp, and calculating. No, you are wrong. The horsemen have the most experience with this, and they.. no.. Invictus. He may not tell the faculty of our condition. And in the end, they would be the ones to help us return to the Island.

She turned to Malodore, and her face was lined with determination. We will go to the Horsemen. Not tonight. We will maintain ourselves for one more night. The student body must not be alerted to any problems. Let them enjoy the revelry for one night, unmarred by the legacy of the hunters.

She hopped off the sink, and started to slide her dress back on. Tomorrow, we shall seek the Horsemen out. Unfortunately for Jericho.. she was no longer asking for opinions on the decision. Her voice, once more, held the tone of finality.

It didn't take Mitsu long to spot the large draugr, her hand waving at him as he approached. "Herryk, its good to see you!"

Looking over to the tables she tried to give it some thought. "No, I'll sit anywhere. It looks like there is a free table over there." She pointed to where table six was. "Will that be okay?" She wanted to make sure though she headed toward the tables anyway. They could always change to another if Herryk wanted to sit elsewhere.

"One more night," Malodore repeated, almost grudgingly. It did not particularly like the idea of trusting Invictus, but it was better than refusing all possible help. "Va bene - but you must tell Shehk. At once." And then it was shaking again, quite suddenly, its wings drawing inwards as if the plague doctor were trying to take shelter within them. Not that it could, of course; its wings were far too small for that. It had thought- this moment could so easily have gone another way. A worse, darker path.

Riley shrugged her jacket back on, and all traces of her affliction were no longer visible. She perked up with a trace of amusement as she looked at Jericho plainly once she'd finished. That is your job. Good luck with that.

Malodore's shake made Riley's amusement fade, and she moved to wrap her arms around the plague doctor, carefully avoiding it's wings as she pulled it into her embrace. She had no words of comfort - she would not lie to her beloved - but she was there, and she would keep it in her arms because it was the only comfort she could give.

Looking a little defeated, Jericho stared at the two. Ok, fine, they could tell Invictus. The horsemen were more likely to keep a secret than the staff members in any case, he supposed. Though, a look of dread took over as Malodore insisted he inform Shehk.

Riley did not help him either.

But he did unknowingly put her in danger. He felt like a fool for it too.

"A-alright... We do not like this.. but alright," he sighed. Taking in a deep breath, he looked over at the other two grimly. This was not a good sign for them at all. Rolling his sleeve back down, he turned towards the door, obviously not looking forward to what came next.

"I'm sorry," he uttered to them, slipping back to his normal pronoun, before stepping on out. It was hard to say just what exactly he was apologizing for.

Shehk hadn't exactly been sure what to make of JD trying to look up her skirt, not really offended by it as it wasn't as though he was getting much of a show with all the ruffles, but also because she kept glancing towards the bathrooms to see how things were faring over there.

Her ears immediately perked up when she saw the door of the Ghoul's restroom open and Jericho step out. But they drooped back down again when it seemed like he was...still off somehow - sad perhaps? She wasn't sure how to place it, but she moved from where she'd been waiting, navigating through the tables to go linger near a wall where she was less crowded and could perhaps get him to talk to her.

She had questions, and she wasn't sure she would like 'no' for an answer for them.

It took a few moments for the trembling to subside, but once it did Malodore took a deep breath, visibly pulling itself back together. Then it looked up at Riley and opened its beak just a little bit, the plague doctor equivalent of a wan half-smile. "I had thought, perhaps, that I would have to do something entirely stupid," it said, quietly. "I am glad that did not happen..." It glanced down again, following the line of her arm to the silvery bracelet wrapped around her wrist.

"Va bene... so, we will go out, and... pretend." Really, it would rather stay in here, but not alone. And Jericho had already left. Someone had to watch over the dragon, too. He, too, was important.

Moving around the room, Jericho slowly looked around for the Pricolici. After some searching, he managed to spot her by the walls, away from the bulk of the crowd. With some reluctance, he made his way over by her, not very happy with the news he was going to have to say.

"I need to speak to you.. privately," he murmured.
