Every time Kaleb concentrated on certain particular spots he purred louder and occasionally leaned his head toward the touches. He may have been a Turk but he was still a sucker for attention.

Kaleb really smiled now that he was getting the hang of it. He probably liked getting those little reactions almost as much as his partner liked the petting, since it meant he was doing a really good job. "A-are there other things you like as much as this?" he asked quietly, not sure if Riley would reply, but wanting to ask anyway.

Kaleb stifled a giggle, when he was having his ears rubbed, Riley really was a mess when it came to thinking and verbal expression. But then again, the mage wasn't much better when he was having his back rubbed right. "Maybe I'll have to find out sometime," he replied with a smile.

"Shouldn'play ... around ..." He stopped for a moment to stretch slightly and groan as Kaleb's fingers hit a particularly sensitive spot. "..with bodies ... like that"

"Like this?" Kaleb asked innocently, rubbing at the spot that had just made Riley react. How else was he supposed to figure out what his partner liked if he wouldn't say what else he liked?

All he managed to say in answer was a noncommittal noise. He was still too asleep and felt too good to manage anything more complicated.

Kaleb would have to remember to ask him again sometime when he was more alert. For the time being he would enjoy having Riley seem to just melt into his touches, it was something he thought would be nice to do more often.

It didn't take long before he fell asleep again. He was still purring but his breathing had evened out nicely.

Once he was sure Riley was honestly asleep and not just trying to pretend he was asleep, Kaleb reached for his book so he could get some studying done. He wasn't going to object to staying in bed because it was warm and comfortable, but he needed something to occupy his mind or he would go crazy.

At some point in his sleep he rolled onto his back and one arm flopped over Kaleb's lap. He didn't wake up and seemed rather comfortable with his mouth half open and tongue hanging out of his mouth.

Kaleb blinked a bit after glancing over at his partner. That was definitely not very intimidating Turk behavior. He tried to go back to his reading, but Riley was really distracting, and eventually the little mage just couldn't resist reaching over and poking Riley's tongue.

His brow furrowed as his tongue lifted to swipe across Kaleb's hand. He wasn't awake but it was a natural reaction to being poked there.
