Areli nodded in agreement to Rellick's words. "Yes Cade... there is always a good chance... Well... almost always." she said, then raised her gaze to the scarlet and gold king again. "If they would like to come hunt, Then that is fine... but we don't need to force them to if they would rather not go on a hunt." she said, then looked around. "Though, we could use the help. This pride of yours Rellick, is growing quite large, and now there are quite a few mouths to feed now." she said, nosing him back lightly.
Hajari piped up alittle at the talk of food. Right now, he was starving... almost. He hadn't eaten in awile, and that little belly of his was quite empty. "Food?" he blinked, pushing himself up slowly, then stepping over to Brooke, walking between her front to feet to look up at the larger lions around him.

As Rellick was about to reply, Jadera appeared. She gave her brother a gentle shove and smiled slyly at Areli. "How about Teams? Myself and Dashira will go out and bring back a kill, as will you and Brooke and Cade?"
Rellick eyed his sister, worried that her competitive spirit was comming out. He saw the gleam in her eyes, and sidestepped, shaking his head. "Whatever you will do, Lady FirePalm, JadeWanderer... I am but a King, I do not presume to tell females what to do."
With a final cheeky smile he turned away, pacing towards the den.

Areli snickered lightly. "Alright-- Good idea. Lets see who can bring back the largest kill, shall we?" she smirked, now getting excited. Yes... Fun! To her, hunt time, was play time. She then watched Rellick stalk off, and laughed lightly. "Thats Rellick for you..." she said with a smile.

"Ah, if only Shey had stayed a little while longer." Brooke said with a smile, thinking of her fleetfooted and exceedingly competitive friend. She shook her head with a laugh at Areli's comment. "After all, he is but a King."
"Can Baby-Hajari come?" Cade piped up. Already, he'd given a nickname to the little kit. He was just so small.

"Hey! I aint no Baby!" Hajari said to Cade with a slight frown, obviously already knowing he had grown. He then looked up at Brooke. "Can I go?" he asked.
Areli looked down at Hajari. Was it safe to bring two cubs along? What if they got hurt... it would be Her fault, being the Hunt Mistress. "Alright.... but make sure you guys stay close to me and Brooke... alright? If you guys get hurt or lost, call out for us the best you can alright? Keeping you guys safe comes way before food...." she murmured.

Cade stuck his tongue out playfully. "You're grown!" He said with a giggle. "Baby-Hajari."
Brooke frowned. Two inexperienced cubs... She looked over at Areli. "Are you sure we can handle them? After all, we're only two. And if Cade wants to help, then there's nobody to stay with Hajari..."
"I wonder what it's gonna be..." Jax mused to himself, seeming lost in daydream as he stared up at the sky.

"Hajari can help too-- Right buddy?" Areli said with a grin, before glancing down at Cade, pawing him lightly, then looking down at Hajari.
The little cub grumbled at Cade, then piped up. "Yeah! I want to help! Pweeeeeeze?" he asked, giving a pouty look to Brooke, hoping she'd give in.

Brooke caved, rolling her eyes with a grin at the cub. "Well, only if y'all promise not to get yourselves killed!" She said.
"We won't!" Cade said with a disarming grin, throwing himself at Hajari in what he'd meant to be a tackle.
"Oh, come on, quit fooling, let's get hunting!" Brooke said cheerily, rounding up the cubs.

Synda quietly came out. Her belly was part way full not wanting to gorge herself before the hunt party came back. She ploddled over to Cade and Hajari giving a soft mew. "Cade be careful..Hajari be careful.." She nodded then looked over at the lionesses. Synda waved with her tail and left forepaw. "Good luck." The cub said before turning back into the den, sticking near to Rellick. Her purple flakes waved gently as the tan cub went out of sight.

Rellick nodded in agreement with Synda's words.
"Yes.. All of you, be careful." He rumbled, and then pulled the little cub into his paws and gave her a grooming lick.
Jadera danced about on nimble paws, smiling a sly smile at her brother. "Rellick, Brother dear.. You know that I am always careful..."
"Walking on water careful." Dashira chimed in her purring voice. She smiled and gave gentle eyes to the King's doubtful glare, playing on her Shaman reputation. "We'll be fine."
"I know no such thing." Rell growled at his sister. "You were ever the troublemaker.. You and Aki both.. So I ask again.. Be careful."
Jade merely nodded and smiled her same sly smile, trotting off toward the Pride Lands. Her tail waving eagerly, she lifted her head to catch the scent of prey. "Shall we then?"

"We shall..." Areli said with a grin. "C'mon Girls-- Guys... Lions!" she said in a slight grumble, quickly darting off. It didn't take long for the lioness to reach great speeds. She quickly got away from the pride, to her favorite hunting grounds. She crouched low behind a bolder, her eyes already locked on a herd of Gazelle.
Hajari blinked, watching the golden lioness bound off quickly. "Woah! Come on Cade!" he said, before pausing, looking back to the den, at Synda and the others. "We wil be!" he laughed, before also running off, moving as fast as his little legs could carry him.

"Oh, we will, Synda!" Cade said with a grin as he took off after Hajari and Areli.
Brooke took up the rear with a laugh, nudging the cubs along whenever one of them fell behind. "Oh, you have got to start running more, Cade!" She teased the dappled cub as he near tripped for the third time.

Dashira took a moment to slip inside herself and lock away her powers. She would not use her abilities as a Shaman to hunt, rather her instincts. When she was finished closing down her awareness, she opened her eyes and glanced at Jadera, clearly asking a question.
Jade's blue eyes were distant, her body moving forward slowly as though she were stalking the prey she could so distantly smell and sense. Without a thought, she sprang forward, silent and swift, and tore into the Pride Lands. Moving low to the ground, she would not startle her prey until it was too late.
Dashira laughed and followed Jade's lead, knowing she could lock on prey much like her mother, and hold on until it was dead.
"So it begins!" She murmured in an excited tone. "The Hunt, once again."

Synda paced back and forth, her tail flicking gently. The cub had not yet noticed that she had grown immensely during that time. She was now a sister of the pride, so to speak, and she was old enough to go out hunting. Her flakes gently waved in the wind as her eyes gazed out onto the plains. She turned back to her family in the caves, tail flicking once again. "Uncle Rellick..." Her voice was light and slightly mellodic, however, it held a course edge to it that seemed strangely soothing. "How long until others get back?" She questioned. "Synda doesn't like it when family out late..." Her speech was still the same in her third person state. That would stay with her throughout life.

Rellick turned to the fully-grown lioness and smiled, nosing her cheek. She had become more of a daughter to him than he realised.
"Don't worry Synda.. They'll be back soon.. It was just a hunt, it shouldn't take too long."
As he spoke Jadera appeared, the sinuous golden body of an antelope draped over her emerald frame. She was laughing at Dashira, who was carrying two rabbits. The pair nodded a greeting to King and Lioness, and then stepped to the mouth of the den to deposite their prizes.
