"Well then..." Yakov sat up, changed and licked Jeff's face. "Lets go."

Jeff was quick to follow suit. Once they were outside in the sunlight he sighed heavily.

Holly smiled. He was adorable when he was angry. "Relax, he more than likely just feels extra responsible for you."

Yakov nuzzled Jeff's neck. "You haven't seen the sun for a few days."

Kyle let out an angry breath. That may be true but he hadn't asked for anyone to be responsible for him. He wasn't a five year old.

"No, you're right." Jeff whined softly and nuzzled him back. "I don't know why I do those stupid things!"

Holly shrugged. "Thats what you get for getting yourself in with someone as alpha as Jeff."

Kyle was caught off guard. "Alpha? Jeffs the alpha? Of everyone? How many are of you?"

"Because your hiding an unnatural amount of emotion inside all those muscles."

Jeff sighed and licked Yakovs almost healed wound. "You're right as usual."

Holly sighed. "No he's not THE alpha. I told you this was complicated."

Kyle pondered to himself for a while. "Will I ever understand this stuff? Will you explain it to me?"

Yakov smiled. "Of course I am. Now how bout we put those gorgeous muscles of yours to work."

Jeff nodded and then broke out into a sprint.

Holly smiled rather brightly. "Hell yes! I never get to talk to anyone about this stuff."

Kyle was shocked at first but was soon smiling. "Go on."

Yakov chased after Jeff, barking excitedly.

Jeff dodged around trees and yipped back at Yakov playfully.

Holly lept on the couch and patted it excitedly indicating Kyle should sit. "Theres a lot so it would probably work best if you start with a question."

Jeff play growled and was soon back on his feet chasing after Yakov. He suddenly veered off the trail of Yakov and into the forest parallel to him. Being a whole foot taller than him, helped Jeff overpower Yakov. Once he was ahead of him enough, he waited in the deep undergrowth for Yakov to run by and lept onto him with a happy yip.

Jeff nuzzled Yakov and let out a barking laugh. Yakovs nipping was like being tickled in human form.

Kat continued to giggle softly. She ran her hands threw his hair as he nuzzled her. It was nice to love him and have such close contact without the need for blood. She still wanted and needed blood to survive but she had already fed that evening, well now early morning, so she was content.

Yakov soon gave up the nipping and licked Jeff's face.

Luka hit the throttle and they were immediately tearing across the fields. Luka nearly howled with delight.

Holly laughed. "As far as I know, nothing. Being alpha isn't always so much a possition. It's more of a personality trait. He's just a dominant kind of guy. You can almost feel it sometimes...well you can't, you don't have a wolf. The rest of us though...I'm pretty sure if Jeff ever really wanted to, he could have us under his thumb...except Sven. It would probably take a fight to the death for him to have one over Sven...maybe even Olga."

Yakov rested his head on Jeff and sighed.

Holly was all too happy to be answering all his questions. "Sven's actually the actual alpha, but it's rather hard to keep the position if you don't have the personality. You'll get overthrown like instantly. And yeah, it all works pretty much the same as regular wolves except wers tend to have more issues with greed and power hungry bastards and stuff."

Holly laughed. "I don't know much about any other packs. I'm usually just here."
