Jeff broke away from his lips and worked away at Yakovs neck.

Kyle groaned and pulled her down tighter to him. He couldn't believe his good luck with such a beautiful and wonderful woman.

Yakov grabbed Jeff's chin and pulled him back up. "Un uh. I get to choose, remember?"

Yakov threw his arms around Jeff and moaned softly.

It was some time before Jeff was collapsed onto of Yakov.

The whole family had gathered in the living room and were currently holding glasses of champagne waiting for midnight.

Yakov leaned close to Jeff and whispered. "Right after the champagne."

Yakov rested his head against Jeff's. "I love you."
Holly sat back against the couch. "Okay..." She figured that he was just upset about how soon he had to leave and she really didn't want to talk about that.
Sven finally finished hooking up the tv and got it turned on just in time for them to watch the equivalent of the New York ball drop in Vancouver.

Jeff turned to Yakov after the yalling of happy new year. and smiled. ""The floors all yours."

Kyled leaned his head on Holly's shoulder and said very softly, "Happy newyear," just to her.

Yakov gave Jeff quick kiss. "Ours." He pulled Jeff up and walked to the front of the room. "Everyone, we have a bit of an anouncement." He gazed up at Jeff for a second. "We've decided to get married."
The whole room just stared silently for a while. It wasn't until Olga burst into tears and ran up to furiously hug both boys that anyone else so much as moved. After that, congradulations were coming from all corners. The congradulations were broken, however, by Luka.
"Jeff, I think you and I need ot have a talk."
There was a chorus of doom filled oooos and Yakov tried to stop Luka, but she just shushed him and dragged Jeff to the kitchen. "What the hell did you do to my brother?"

Jeff looked shocked at Luka. "What? I mean I've been the dumbest person in the world and hurt him so many times but I don't think I can change his mind on this..." Jeff was worried and had started rambling on.

Luka put a finger to his lips to get him to stop. "I spend 35 years with a self-centered cokcy b*****d of a brother who thought he was the coolest thing on Earth and God's gift to women.,,and then you come along. He's nice to people, He's articulate. He cares about you like there's no tomorrow. He wants comitment. And was that a claim mark I saw on his shoulder?"

Jeff kept quiet. He couldn't really think of anything to say. He just nodded and looked shocked.

Kyle had had it with the family, he was glad Jeff and Yakov were getting married but he couldn't stand the slight anxiety he was feeling. He stood and pulled Holly to her feet. He took a deep breath and smiled at her. "I have a going away present for you...." he said is a half whisper.
