Yet again, Lucius's brow raised critically. Not tearing his gaze away from the piece of filth he deemed unworthy of breathing the same air as him, he spoke to Severus while staring intensely at her.
"Do I really have to talk to it, Severus?" he asked, referring to Lily as an inatimate object instead of a human.

"'It' has a name, thank you very much!" she snarled. "I'm Lily, as in a flower," she added.

"Strange, I never knew flowers could smell like a particularly muddy swamp," Lucius said smoothly.

"Believe me Madam, I was not insinuating that you smelled dirty..." Lucius explained as if Lily were the biggest simpleton he'd ever beheld, "...I merely meant that I, ah, smelled a Mudblood in the vicinity. Sophisticated people like Severus and myself do not wish to be in your prescence. Don't you agree, Severus?" He turned to Severus as he spoke commandingly, making it perfectly clear what the answer should be.

Franki stood up, bored as hell. She put her book back into her trunk and walked back down to the common room. She couldn't take sitting there anymore, so she started wandering the halls. Bored as she may have been, some things never chang.

"Uhm... I uh..." Severus was caught in a grind it seemed. Betray Lily, the girl he loved, or Lucius, his friend? he stood there, dumbfounded for a moment, before shaking his head. "It seems you've beem hanging around with the Marauders too much, Lily." he was obviously referring to the slimeball commnet, one of the Marauders favorite comments. Instead of confronting this situation, he decided to run. He took off down the stairs. It seemed that luck wasn't on his side anymore, for it decided to move. Severus had to make it to the other landing, he couldn't stay any longer. So, he jumped to the next landing, barely makng it, and headed for the dungeons.
"N-n-no, it's fine. You wanted to go there, let's go." He lead the way to the shack, the sound of Hogsmeade growing fainter and fainter. "Oh- and you really can't blame me for being a sexist pig. Blame James and Sirius. They're like a tumor, they grow on me." Remus was getting paler and paler as they approached the shack, the memories of his nights there hard to grasp. It was the wolfsbane that kept him a little civil, but other than that, his normal transformations left him without any recollection of his adventures.

Lucius, without further word to Lily, followed Severus down to the dungeons and cornered him in the Common Room. "If you pull another stunt like that one, you do realize the Dark Lord will not take you, don't you?" he asked in a warning voice.
Sunrise looked up at Remus, biting her lip nervously. She grabbed Remus's arm and stopped him from walking any further. "Remus you're awfully pale, we don't have to go if you don't want to. Really, I don't mind!" She didn't want to make Remus do anything he didn't want to, and couldn't help but smile at his comment about Sirius and James. She looked up at the doorway to the Shack, one of Remus's arms' length from her (she had shorter arms) and couldn't help but feel curious. She was almost sure that his anxiety around the dilapidated building wasn't because of rumors of ghosts.
((They haven't invented Wolfsbane yet...))

(( .. I wasn't planning on heading to the common room, but whatever. xDD))
"... It's been a long day, Lucius. Trust me- it won't happen again." he pushedhis way past Lucius and left the common room. He wanted to relax a little, but Lily's words kept ringing in his ears. She didn't even give him a chance, did she? She just went on and called him a slimeball. He made fists, his knuckles turning white. Did he really do anything wrong to deserve this? Wasn't he friends with Lily from a young age? What- and James Potter comes along and whisks her away from him!
"Fine. Let's go back." he said simply. Remus wasn't afraid to admit he was chicken. Not in the least bit. He was still awfully pale, and he was actually starting to not feel good. "Let's head back up to the castle, shall we?" Rems lead the way a foot or so ahead of Sunrise. He wanted to lay down by the fire in the common room. This was one of the bad parts about his transformation- he normally didn't feel so well a couple of days before the full moon.

(( I thought they had- because I remember reading that in the books once, that the gave Remus a potion ever fullmoon and locked him the shrieking shack to keep ahold on himself, and one of the ingredients was wolfsbane. o.O;; I could be wrong. I have to go to bed now, though. Church in the morning. Goodnight.))

((*pouts but smiles* g'night luv! It was fun!! I am also goingn to assume that Lucius isn't needed for the time being.))
Sunrise followed Remus, feeling shy and self-conscious. She shouldn't have eaten so much chocolate earlier. "Remus, are you feeling okay? Perhaps you should go to the hospital wing, I could go with you to make sure you're okay.... Or, well...I know this is going to sound dumb, but..." She jogged slightly to catch up with his long strides, stared transfixedly at his eyes for a moment, then dug a chocolate bar out of her bag and offered it to him. "I seem to find that chocolate makes me feel better when I don't feel well, just not in excess.... I know, it's really dumb but...yeah...well..." She shrugged with a small half-smile. "It's Honeydukes's new flavor! Expensive as bloody hell, but it's too good to resist." She gave a sheepish grin.

Remus slowed down a little, taking the chocolate. "Well, this is strange. I love chocolate, and as a matter of fact, it makes anything feel better. Thanks. And no, I don't need to go to the hospital wing." Yet... Remus reminded himself. "Let's just get back." They were only a couple hundred yards away from the castle, but the climb to the common room was ahead. Oh. Joy.

Sunrise gave what she knew was a totally lovesick and sappy grin. He liked that she liked chocolate! He was waaaaaaaaay too cute for words! She was so glad Remus wasn't a Legilimens right now, or his head would be pounding with girly screams. "Anytime," she said quietly, and really meant it. She forced herself to look away from him for a moment to squeeze her eyes tight shut and grin so widely her cheeks began to hurt. She then turned her face forward again nonchalantly. Her hand was all twitchy from being so close to his, but she fought the temptation.
