"If you outlived it then you would probably kill yourself. I couldn't live without Tharazzi." Fire grunted for once speaking seriously. She rested a hand on Tharazzi's orange fur as he spread his wings and yawned curling up on the floor.
This is boring. He muttered, although he hated fighting sitting and doing nothing was just as bad if not worse.
"Where do you come from Neo?" Fire asked trying to start a conversation as she could see how upset Neo was getting although the question just made things worse.
"It doesn't matter, its gone anyway." He shrugged trying to stay calm. "How about you?"
"I can understand why you don't want to answer." Fire smiled although again Neo didn't react.
"Cheer up." Tharazzi muttered moving to nudge Neo's hand.
"Oh, sorry." He said distantly shaking his head causing some of his blond hair to fall into his eyes again.
Fire shrugged and jumped up looking around at the new knights thinking back to when she had just met Tharazzi, or what she could remember of it.
Do not be afraid, as long as you live i live. The voice told Neo.
"Freyr..." He jumped then frowned trying to work out something that seemed complicated.
"Are you always this boring?" Fire asked poking Neo's shoulder as he stood.
"Yeah, i think too much." He chuckled shaking his head and wandering around in a small circle.

"How can you have powers like Life?" Fire asked sitting down again, her tail wrapping round her leg and twitching slightly. She didn't normally enjoy sitting and listening but he was alien and strange, something new and exciting.
"I don't know, it is part of my race rather than my powers. I have no control over it and it will only work with myself. I can't transfer my powers to other people. I don't even know if it will work for me." He smiled shrugging and joining the half panther on the floor. Tharazzi crawled over shortly after and sat comfortably beside Fire.
"Can you fight?" She asked, her eyes brightening. Neo shook his head sadly.
"I can't do much." He smiled. "Sorry."
"You will have to learn." She said thoughtfully, pulling her spear from its holder and handing it to the alien.
"Try and hit me." She ordered and they both stood, Neo holding the spear nervously in his hands.
"Don't be worried, i haven't lost a fight in years." She smiled not including the times she just got bored and walked away.
Are you sure about this? Tharazzi asked, the only reply he got was a short nod.
"I don't want to hurt you." He muttered looking at the floor then walking slowly towards Fire, the spear ready to attack with.
"You can't hurt me." She laughed shaking her head of short, messy black hair.

Emelin followed Siencyn through many curves and underbrush, low-lying branches and tall grass. They seemed to travel through the forest for what seemed like hours. Emelin looked up at the sky again and there was still some light. The next moment Siencyn was gone.

"Siencyn?" no answer. "Blasted... damn dragon..." She wasn't in the mood for hide-and-seek. Jager and his dragon was hurt, and she barely met them.

She stood there for a couple minutes and Siencyn reappeared. "Where were you?"

"We're almost there." Siencyn disapeared again. Emelin rolled her eyes and followed after him again.

Romana opened her eyes and looked around sadly. She was alone yet again and always would be. It was just how things were. After a while she saw flashing images of Lyude's prey, he had flown off to hunt and get his mind off Neo, a topic that Romana couldn't stop talking about.
"Ok, forget about him." She told herself spreading her mechanical wing in time with her real one then flapped them, rising into the sky and making her way towards the pale light dragon.

"We should really find this Jager." She said once she was close enough for Lyude to hear. The little dragon had a dead rabbit in his jaws and was trying to eat it while in the air.
What can he do though? Lyude replied. Romana had always been a shy girl and now she seemed like she wanted to make friends and socialise.
"He can tell us what to do. What would you do?" She asked slowing down as Lyude almost stopped in the air and suddenly dived towards the ground.
I would find out more about him before approaching him. Don't you find it strange that he managed to gather half a dozen dragons in once place without a fight? He didn't trust Jager even though they had never met, and if things were up to him they never would.
"He can tell us something." The angel sighed growing frustrated. The two were meant to be friends, not spend all their time arguing.

Jager fell to his knees after Eyotto fled. His arm was bleeding badly and his strenght was diminishing.
"No way... There's no way we're this different in power..."
Jager collapsed onto the cold, cool grass beneath him. He began to breathe and bleed heavily. He looked forward, one eye nearly shut, and reached out to the air, trying to find something that could help. All he could grasp was air, and then the arm collapsed, clutching the grass and nearly panting. He was losing too much blood. He'd use Life's healing power, but his power was drained.
"Looks like I'm out of it, Valk.."
-=Jager...no...=- Valk was just as drained. He fluttered a bit and his wings gave out. He fell next to Jager's head.
"Sorry Valk... We had a good run, right?"
-=Jager...=-
Jager let his eyes close. The memories of his Knightship seeped into his head like the blood to the grass. There was Rue, Jotyma, Hoshi and Inu-Ryu. Inu-Ryu. He wanted to see her again, but now, it looked impossible.
"Inu..."

(mind you guys, I don't have a flippin' idea of what's going on, and I can't get on Gaia anymore. Don't wait up for me.) ^^;;

Life chased Amorath down the river, the two having a simple game of chase. Her green cloak picked up with the wind, the gale blowing against her face. Her dragon giggled as she nearly slipped on a bank.
"Careful, klutz!" He laughed, peeking out from under a group of boulders. "Are you turning human again?"
"No way. Only Xavisa could do that."
A strange shiver ran through her mind, and both she and Amorath perked up to the source of that shiver.
"Jager!" Amorath roared, and both of them took off toward the younger Dragon Chieftain. He turned into his large form, and Life ran up the boulders, jumping off of them to mount Amorath. Eyotto's presence was there, but fading fast with the distance he was making.
"Damn it!" Life roared, Amorath taking off. Where was he? Why had she let her guard down at a time like this? Running off from the group like that...the half-moon elf was out of it. She never ran off, she always tried to keep the group together.
There. On the grass, in the meadow...
Swinging down to her dragon's arms, out of his saddle, he descended almost like a rock, letting her free to jump to his side.
"Jager! Jager! Oh come on, buddy..."
What was that gray thing slithering off? Never mind it, she told herself. His wounds were too large for any sort of 'normal' healing. Amorath was attending to Jager, blowing ice-like shards of magic upon his wounds that melted into a healing liquid, mending his flesh.
Life's hands radiated with white and blue magic, and she placed them upon Draco's head. Casting a spell, most of his wounds were lessened, but remained to an extent. With a knowing grin, the half-moon elf spoke aloud,
"What you need is strength..."
Taking the Dragon Crystal from her pouch, Amorath nearly tackled her.
"What in the name of the gods are you doing? You nearly killed yourself with that!"
"No, I'm channeling the power to heal him, not to power him up." She responded, looking up at her dragon, some of Jager's blood on her hands. The Dragon Crystal glowed as it sensed life force about it, and she commanded,
"Crystal of the High Chieftains of Tharria, the Dragon Chieftains, give this young Chieftain a portion of life! Let him live to see brighter and happier days!"
A milky, translucent white power flowed out of the small crystal, and into her hands. Placing her large yet slender hands on his head, she let a portion of the Crystal's power flow into him.
"I hope this works..." She muttered, looking down at his face.

"I couldn't hurt you." He smiled dropping the spear, he would never be a good fighter. It just wasn't his idea of fun. Poking each other with large pointy sticks or trying to draw blood because of something small and pathetic.
"What would you do in a fight then?" Fire snorted picking up her spear and replacing it in its holder.
"I would loose if not die." He shrugged like it was no big deal but he feared death. More than most people.
"You act like it is nothing to loose your life." The half panther smiled, Neo kept surprising her, first finding out he was from another planet, that he could regenerate and probably had done before, that he hated to fight...
"It isn't. Death is nothing. What's death to those clever enough to stop it?" He muttered biting his tongue suddenly, it was not the right time period to continue with what he was saying.
"You are very wierd." She sighed shaking her head and giving up, her attempt at a fight had failed so she would have to wait for another opertunity.
You could learn a lot from each other. Tharazzi sounded amused at the thought of Fire listening to something someone else said and actually taking their advice.
It is obvious he has been around death far longer than you. The fire dragon then curled up into a tight ball and refused to speak to the knight.
"How old are you?" Fire asked sitting beside Tharazzi, she didn't want to stay at the edge of a forest but there was no where else to go.
"I don't know...about 200?" He said thoughtfully trying to remember how long he had been around.
"But that's nothing. What is age when you can go anywhere at any time?"
"You can do that?" Fire began to growl, time travel was meant to be incredibly hard.
"Not on my own." Neo smiled tapping his nose gently then looking up at the sky.

Topaz and Vermelho flew right over the tree where a few people still stood without noticing it.

.: Look, over there, near the tall tree. Isn't that where we were fighting with the evil one? :.
.: Yes, I think you are right. And... Oh, gods! Its Jager! Land, dearheart! :.

Vermelho flew right down to where Jager and Valk'yar lay.

"Oh, Lord. Look what a mess you've gotten yourself into. Well, I cannot do much, but perhaps I might slow the blood until someone who can do much else can arrive." she said, kneeling beside him.

His arm was beelding profusely, so ripping part of her tunic off, she bandaged it.

Then reaching in herself to where her elven magic lie, she recited in harsh tones, so unlke her own, so that she sounded as though she was speaking in two voices, or else someone was speaking through her. An unearthly wind blew sharply.

"Stay the blood that doth flow forth. Stay the wounds, stay the pain. Stay the call of He of the death. Stay the blood that doth flow."

Breathing hard now, she placed Jager's arm above the line of his heart.

.: It taxed you. You shouldn't have done that. :. Vermelho glared at her with a single sharp eye.
.: And let him die? :.
.: He would have not died. :.
.: And who are you to say? :.
.: One that does not waste time with other forms of magic. :.
.: Then you are selfish. :.
.: And you are stubborn. You cannot continue two forms of magic. It simply isn't possible. :.
.: Watch me. :.
.: No! You don't understand. The stress it would conflict upon you would be far too great. :.
.: I don't care. :.
.: You should. :. He looked to Jager and said calmly, but only to him. .: You understand why I speak this. She'll listen to you. Make her understand. :.

When they were done fighting, Topaz turned her attention to Valk'yar, her abilities now used to their full power on Jager, she could do nothing else for him. She gently felt for breaks along all his wings, legs, and joints. There were no fractures. She gently placed her hand on his head and whispered, "You are safe now, little one. Rest now, quiet, in peace."

Siencyn started to slow down and finally stopped.
-Here we are.-
-It's about time...-

They both walked further on, Emelin occasionaly tripping on a root or low bush. They finally came to the clearing and Emelin saw Life, Topaz and Jade there. Then she saw Jager, lying upon the blood-stained grass, almost motionless.

-I think we should sit this one out and not cause any more of a scene or get in anyone's way.-
-Well said.- Siencyn jumped onto the branch above them and Emelin leaned against the tree, not knowing what to do at this point but to watch and make sure that everything is alright.

Topaz, seeing that the situation was being handled by a prfoessional, stepped beckwards into the bushes. Keeping her eyes on Life, she stepped into Emelin on accident.

"Oh, gosh, I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where I was -- ahhhh!" TOpaz slipped and fell on a badly placed leaf.

Vermelho trotted over to see if she was okay.

.: Are you okay? I saw you fall. :.
.: Yes... yes, I'm fine. :.
.: Good. :. Vermelho glanced over at Life still working on Jager. Then he snaked out his tongue once, but turned back to Topaz. .: Well, she's here to save the day again. :.
.: What are you talking about? :.
.: She's obviously playing the hero. :. At a disbelieving look from Topaz, he continued. .: She's the kind of person who would arrive at just the right time to make herself look good, even if it cost the person who was hurt much more pain than necessary. :.
.: Listen up, you little brat. You don't know her! You aren't allowed to jump to conclusions. That's not fair. You have to give her a chance. Or at least tolerate her. :.
Vermelho made no more noise about it, after hearing the firmness of Topaz's voice, but he looked as though he would have liked to render a shouting match with her.

Emelin was staring into no where, when she was taken by surprise when Topaz bumped into her.

"Oh!" Emelin stumbled a bit and then Topaz fell.
"Oh dear, are you alright?" She held out her hand to help her up.

She looked at Vermelho trot over and saw anger build in both their eyes. Siencyn and Emelin looked at each other and looked back at the two.

-They're argueing smart one.-
-I know that... I'm not stupid.-

Emelin gave a look to Siencyn and still held out her hand for Topaz.

"Sorry," Topaz muttered in Emelin's direction, averting her eyes. Taking a deep breath, however, she then reached up and took the proffered hand.

"Thank you," she said as she stood. "My sincerest apologies, my lady." Then Topaz took an flourishing bow. Vermelho as well, bend his right leg underneath him, and lowered himself with his left. It looked quite odd, but it was unmistakenly a bow.

.: Thank you. :. He shot quickly at Emelin. .: For helping Topaz, I mean. :.

"Don't mind him, I just won a quick argument just now. But I think you already noticed that." She smiled. " I, however, noticed that you did not move forward to help... er... Lord Jager."

.: Hey, Topaz, I think I like being big. It felt nice. Now I feel compacted. I'm going to go strech. :.
.: Go ahead. But you didn't have to ask permission. I'm not your master, remember? :.
Vermelho grew with a quick turn and departed. .: I know, :. was all he left lingering in Topaz's mind.

"He seems so happy sometimes. Especially when he's flying. I think its the wind." SHe turned back to Emelin. "I beleive that your element was water? Interesting. You have an aura around you. What am I saying, everyone does. But yours seems... so strange. I felt it before, but I really notice it now, now that I have Vermelho. He seems to extend certain... ahh.... abilites of mine."

Emelin nodded her head at the bow and gave a smile.

"I would have, but it's better if there aren't a whole lot of people grouping around him. So I stayed on the side-lines in case I was needed."
Siencyn hovered down and watched Vermelho grow and depart. He looked up at Emelin.
-I don't have to have you always at my side my dear. You can go stretch and explore. I'll call you when I want or need you.-
Siencyn nodded in response and scampered in Vermelho's direction.

Emelin watched him go, feeling a slight emptiness after he was out of sight.
"Aye, yes I have the element water. And I'm guessing yours is the element wind?"

She looked at Jager who still seemed motionless and unmoving, as was his dragon. "So you wouldn't happen to know what happened to him do you? I felt a great surge of power a while ago, would that have anything to do with it?"

"Yes, that was why I was backing off as well. Life seems to have it under control. Though some," she called up to the air, "don't think her competant enough!"

She scowled for a moment, then returned to Emelin. "Yes, you are correct, I am the Knight of Wind."

She looked at Jager along with Emelin. "It was quite awful acctually. I was there. At least for most of it. He kept telling me to leave, and finally I gave up protesting.

"There was this evil image of Lord Jager, in the clearing. I watched as Lord Jager and his dragon, Valk'yar, I think it was, approached the figure. Then I was somewhat captured. I was able to break free by help from Jager, and proceeded to shoot some arrows at him. He blocked them all, an unimaginable feat, considering that I am an elf. And a moon elf at that. Then I began to use agility, but again he caught me. That was when I left. During that time, Jager was also exchanging attacks with the man. At least he seemed man enough. But his aura was so cold, so dark. I fear that if I had physically touched him, I would not have survived it.

"And so I left, for a short time. I returned to Eyral, I think it was, and fell asleep. It could not have been for very long. I was awakened by a certain force, and drawn towards here by it as well, thought at the time I did not know it. It wasn'tuntil I arried here that I knew something or someone had wanted me here. Why, I cannot say. "

She turned back to Emelin, her eyes slightly more shiny than they had been moments before.

A good ways away, Vermelho landed in a small grove of trees. He leaped into a tree and waited for what ever was following him. Moments later, he spotted the girl's dragon, who had been near where Topaz fell earlier.

.: Hello. You are Siencyn, if I am correct. It is a pleasure. :.

Again he bowed to the groung with a tucked right leg. Then he gave a long look at the dragon as though sizing him up.

.: You are another male, I presume? :.

"You're not going to tell me are you?" Fire sighed shaking her head.
"I might do sometime. Depends what happens. How old are you?" He replied.
"You dare ask me my age?" Fire smiled creating a small fire ball in her hand but not shooting it at him.
"I'm 17." She shrugged standing up and stretching, she was really bored and aware that they were being ignored by the other new knights around them, and Neo was still without a dragon. Then Fire suddenly heard a name she recognised.
"I know her though." She muttered hearing someone talking about Life, although she almost felt the same way about her chieftain it sounded wierd coming from someone else.
"You don't have to call him Lord Jager. Just like you don't call Life Lady Amp." Fire smiled taking a few slow steps towards the two new knights, the knight of water and the knight of wind. She made sure to position herself away from the water knight but so that they could both clearly see her, and in the background Neo and Tharazzi.
"You are all Jager's knights right?" She said, her face was expressionless except from a slight smile.
"I'm Gwyneth but if you call me that i will kill you. My name is Fire." Her smile increased but she still appeared cold and uncaring.

"I prefer to identify people by their status. But if it bothers you that much, I shall refrain." Topaz sighed as she turned to face Fire. "Yes, I am one of Jager's Knights. My name is Topaz. I'm really not in any mind to what you should call me. I have no preference." She smiled, just as cold, back to the Knight of Fire.

"I believe that you are one of Life's Knights? And I doubt you should be more afraid of water than of wind." She laughed, jovially. Her laughed rang around the clearing as thought a chorus of bells.

"And though you may not believe it, I was not advanceing cynically towards Life. Mydragon, Vermelho, was. I don't think he trusts her." She bowed to Fire. "The peasure of meeting you is mine."
