I'll be 22 in a couple weeks, and I'm happier now than I have been since I was little - so I don't feel old at all. =)
...except when I go in forums and I see kids talk about being like 14, 15, and I realize that the babies I used to babysit are that age. Then it's a little weird.

Waltz for Luma lol. I think you geezers need to stop hanging around teens on Gaia. Of course you feel old. I, for one, have never felt better! I hardly talk to anyone on Gaia at all. I think the Ystwyth is the youngest person I talk to at the moment. I'm the youngest at work by a good 10 years (ok, unless the daughter of the commander is in to do some cleaning work, but she doesn't normally work on my hours), I play LOTRO with geezers in their 30s to 50s, I'm the youngest among my nieces and nephews except for one nephew. I'm hardly ever at university, but most folks there are as old as me. My friends are all my age. Still, I compare myself to how I was when I was ~15 and then realise what things I haven't been doing that I should have done. Then again, age is just a number, but it does make me slightly annoyed that I haven't done a lot of things in my life.

Aw. Don't be too hard on yourself, Aldo. Even the best of people fall into those slumps. That era may have passed, but you're still you, and there are still great things to be done. Just think of your downtime as preparing for the next step, maybe? :]
Ever since I graduated, I've felt frustrated and useless that I'm not being productive constantly. Then somebody said to me, "You can't keep looking back to college as 'the glory days.'" Somehow, I was really glad to hear that.

But oh well. I don't mind. I'm a kid at heart still and a nerd. WHAT OF IT?! >:0
Edit: Oh god, What's My Age Again ... I remember listening to that when I was like, 13? And going "WOW 23 LOL THAT'S SO OLD" ... ...... ugh. T______T THAT SONG IS SO ME. /WRISTS (k just kidding)

my birthday's next weekend, and it's the kind of age where i'm neither feeling old nor young - i'll be 27. while i wish i had accomplished stuff when i was young, i can still DO it - i just won't be a shocking prodigy or anything.

I'm not really sad about aging or anything. I hate my younger self a lot more than my current self, so I guess it can only get better.
