There were several threads of conversation going. Johan was hard pressed to follow, trying to piece together what few clues he had gleaned from what the others said. "Pendants? Zat vas Arel? Hallvay?" Johan repeated, confused, as he hadn't been party to... whatever had happened there. One ghoul in particular seemed to be quite angry, at herself, at the others. At everything, probably, Johan felt, and he could hardly blame her. Had they been bait? Johan considered what had happened since they'd arrived. Hunters waiting in the area, with nets. Red as a double agent? But found out? Being sucked into a flamethrower. Fear and Hunter Weapons. Giant Red. It did look like the first part of this, at least, had been planned. Johan looked up at the great, circling beast, very much doubting that could have been the desired result of any trap. "Ja. I think ve vere meant to be bait." he conceded, looking back down at Amrita, and the other students. "But ve are hardly helpless." His mind kept going back to the rune flaring on Red's head. What if...? "I haf an idea." he ventured, summoning magic to his fingers, and scrawling a quick rune into the air. "Those runes on her head. They vere ze only thing in color, ja? Ze one in ze center keeps flaring, too. I haf been studying them. I think I could recreate it." he finished, gesturing to the rune he'd drawn. "But I haf no idea vhat, if anything, that vould do."

Cymbeline seemed lost in her own world, moreso than usual. Being trapped and freed, and feeling the familiar embrace of Insanity swirling around her... It was like the warmth of the sun, magnified a thousand times to scald and burn her skin. Invisible blisters spread and ruptured across her mind as she stared into the sun that was Insanity, transfixed. It felt like home, and home felt like death. The heir's face was remarkably still and serious as she watched others attack, watched the beast that was once sane howl and rise up into the air. How bizarrely things had twisted themselves... That one, giving in to Insanity. She spread her wings, but instead of taking flight she wandered over to her fellow Horseman heir. "Sister~ Once you are done terrorizing those roaches... Look up there." She pointed to where the Red-Creature circled above. "This one dances with OUR maker today." Cymbeline grinned, her own madness appearing in full force.

"I didn't know no one had told me I didn't..." She fumbled for words and instead chose to simply grow quiet as more students gathered around. In a way it was nice to see them all gathered up like this. At the same time it made them a perfect target, but what could they do? Red was flying above them, or whatever was left of her.
She looked at everyone, gathering around, some of them spoke about trying to reach Red, but, was she really there? Or was that just a memory playing back, would she really listen? Or would she just crush them all in her attempts to kill the hunter leader?
"Maybe... we just do nothing... it's not like we can do anything at the moment." She looked up again watching as Red continued to circle. It wasn't going to end well at this rate she feared, but what could she do to change it now?

For a second, it seemed as if Caelius was really considering Madison and Jordan's offers as he hesitated, but just for a mere second before a flash of red and a very familiar voice caught the Death Hunter's attention.
One hundred percent of his attention.
His weapon was in the air before he even started to move, and suddenly, he was between Eris, Cymbeline, and the heir of Death's two targets. "Horsemen." For a second, the man seemed to have even forgotten the threat of Red herself: there were past grudges here that he could simply not let go. "Would you like a continuation of where we left off at the island?"
The scythe was humming, almost whining. There was a tension in the air: he would not hesitate to attack at the next provocation.

He'd made a mistake. He'd half-forgotten about the Horsewoman. Too much to pay attention to - the massive monster that he had known as Aria, Caelius, Madison, Ennea - and then he'd heard Jerry's puzzled, pained cry, and remembered all at once. Jordan spun, refocusing, a half-buried fury reawakening in him. He wouldn't forget again. Distraction could kill, or worse, it could betray him. Jordan, Ferros said. Eat her, Jordan hissed back, aware in some part of his mind that he was being irrational and utterly ignoring it as he attacked Eris once again. Too tired, still too distracted. His swing went wide, barely checked before it hit Caelius; shock rolled through him, and he stumbled back, tension fracturing in all his muscles. No, no - careless - no - Quote: Target: Eris Damage: 0 HP: 25/40 Charge Attack: Battle Cry - The hammer's head bursts into flame, increasing damage done and potentially setting the target alight. 0/3 charged

Mot had hope. Johan's idea was a good one. A really good one. "Hey, it can't hurt to try, partner!" Mot grinned.
Having the students gathered really made him feel better. Powerful. He hated being alone.
Mot bent down beside Sammy, giving her a pat on the back. "It's okay. There's still hope left." Mot assured her, smiling brightly. "Chin up."

He needed something to hit. Leon was letting the irritation pile up for far too long and he needed the release. Hands were balled up into tight fists around the handle of the chainsaw, he was rather surprised that Nidhogg couldn't feel it. But the shout that caught his attention prevented the chance of a crack in the weapons casing and he looked over to Marcus, indicating at the pony female trying to get a few cheap shots in.
Oh no, not on his watch. It might as well been a reflection as the boxer echoed back the grin as creepy as it was. "Lets do it."
Nothing more needed to be said as the boxer went charging toward the creature with the chainsaw in full rev and a sweeping arc to go with it. "How bout you back off darlin'. go deal with your rouge member and let us deal with it in our own way." He said with a rather horrid sneer, face contorting to match the rage within. It was a warning blow yes, not enough to hurt but more than enough to convey the message. "So why don't you run along before me and Nid here decide to make glue out of you."
Attacking: Eris DMG: 4/2= 2 HP: 29/40 Fear/Charge Attack: Ravenous Roar (Battle Cry lvl 2) 0/3 : Nidhogg's serrated teeth enlarge to four times their size without the drawback of losing acceleration

Shehk pulled Israfel over to her and cradled the siren against her chest, brushing one bloody palm over his hair (sorry...). "Not a trap for us, dearheart. A trap for them. Why else would we all be brought to the same place?" she whispered. s**t, she should have kept her mouth shut. Her own paranoias were now being leeched out because she'd let them start spilling from her mouth. This was bad. She was making the situation worse. Far worse than it needed to be. "Don't worry... it'll all be fine." She hadn't been on the island. Had the staff come for the students?
That would have made sense. But now..did the staff know they were in this danger? The boogeymen should have known something was up. Would the Boogeymen actually act against a training facility though? There were a lot of questions, but Shehk forced them down and forced a smile onto her face. "Now now..I'm sorry. I'm just beginning to ramble. I think the....atmosphere..is getting to me a little bit. I'm just a little bit off." it was a lie. A series of lies. Maybe not entirely, but they were there. Lacing into her opinions. She'd really been acting erratic. One second she was in a state of hysteria, then calm, then rage-hysteria, then calm, even perhaps soothing and apologetic as though she was aware of everything.
Something had to be up with the pricolici. But she said nothing, just trying to make everything all better.
She paused when Johan spoke up again, her eyes turning to look at him, the glow flooding back into the with a certain sort of hopefulness. "Do you think so? I mean.. it has to be something! And trying this out will...be better than doing nothing." The brave face intensified and she grinned, that wicked full-toothed grin of hers. Blood was smeared across her teeth - either from all the head impacts ( Why did nobody think a ghoul with two bleeding headwounds was off her rocker?) or the bloody-mouth trick she'd played on a couple of the hunters.
"I think we should try everything we can. What can I do to help? I mean.. I don't know if I have much on me anymore, but....shoot. I wish I could find my bag. I had some supplies we could pass around to clean up some of the bleeding going on."
There was a pause as she reached out, pausing before pressing her hand against Sammy's shoulder, patting it gently. "Shhh...shhhhh.......we'll manage something. Forget I said anything, honey bunch. We can worry about the whys of being here later." she paused, looking to the Death Hunter across the way, seeming to be debating something. No, the Horsewoman (was she Conquest? No...Conquest was... the other ghoul? s**t..was she Death? Augh! She didn't know any of this!! ) over there picking a fight. She couldn't do it now. But she'd keep an eye open for it.
She had a few questions for him and maybe..just maybe she'd get a chance to ask without being slaughtered for it. However, she paused, looking back to the assembling group, moving her hand over to the Reaper's head with a small bit of shock. Gasp! His hat!! She ruffled his hair a bit.
"Okay, Mot? You keep being 'Emotional Damages Caused by Crazy Ex-Gambling Pricolici Hysteria' control, yes? I'm just... I have a feeling in about five more minutes I'll spew something else stupid...."
She paused after a moment.
"Sorry I've just been making things worse around here, guys."

Mot's eyes stared up at Shehk as she ruffled his hair. It shocked him at first, almost forgetting nothing was protecting his head anymore. The sensation of a hand brushing over his hair was so strange.
The reaper smirked though, laughing at the way Shehk eased over her tantrum. "Is that my official title? It's a bit of a mouthful." Mot smiled brightly at the ghoul again. It was good to see Shehk back to her old self. "Welcome back, little lady."

Madison stumbled back as Caelius was suddenly gone, leaping between ohhhhhhhhh god that horrible b***h woman. That anger from earlier started to smolder again, but she was tired, so tired, and oh my god what was Jordan doing?!
Nothing made sense anymore... god, she was tired. The Hunter trainee stood her ground for now, feeling more than a little lost.

Aksaja's eyes widened at the voice, only now realizing . . . this was Red? Red?!! She had somehow turned into this, this . . . thing down there in the pit? Oh hell. This was bad. This was very, very bad. Especially when she suddenly took to the air.
Various Hunters and Halloween students stared as she soared upward, but Aksaja didn't even hesitate - bathed in the light of the beam of FEAR from above even as he also pushed off the ground, wings beating to propel him through the air.
He could feel the power from the FEAR light and let out a roar as he approached, choosing to target what was likely the weakest spot on the other dragon-like creature - the wings. Being smaller than it (she?) was, he was easily more agile in the air and quickly climbed up higher, then dove down with another roar, summoning lightning bolts to spatter against her wings as he passed. Then he executed a spin on one wingtip, aiming to soar upward again for a follow-up attack in a few minutes.
(( Target: Red's wings HP: 40 Damage = 15.2 / 2 = 7.6 FEAR: Swift Strike Y2 level - may cause possible paralysis of limb(s) ))

"No. I won't forget. I should have helped you, I should have done something, and I should have listened to you earlier... but if we didn't stop Red... we might not even be here right now." Slowly she got up dusting her knees off. She glanced at Shehk, then the others. "If we try this... we need to make her remember, who we are, who she was..." She paused frowning, "If you're right Shehk.,, if this works..."

Demi gave Shehk a pat on the back, going a bit light in case of a unforeseen injury. "Its ok, i think the stress of this made us all go a little bonkers." he said without shame at his earlier epidemic. "indeed, Welcome back." he joined in the chorus with Mot. And then turning around to the other boil with the plan, Johan. "at this point, I think we can try anything." he said eying the marking that the dragon had adorned as she slowly circled around them from above.

Cymbeline's approach drew her kin's eyes back from where she played gleefully with the fate of the Hunters, Eris' devilish grin fading into a smirk of satisfaction at how Jerry tripped over himself in result. In the light of the battle, Famine's heir seemed to be particularly afflicted with the 'fever' they had accumulated from the mists of the Hunter's island, the fire in the other horseman's warm brown eyes softening a bit in response. Flicking her wings open halfway as if in greeting, she let her arms drop to her sides as she turned to face Cym, obediently following the girl's finger to where it was pointed at Red, expression unchanging. "Our maker indeed flies on swift wings tonight, sweetness -- insanity is a cruel mistress," she replied, her voice a soft purr that was neither delight nor amusement, merely humor for the other.
She was about to cross the short span of canyon between herself an Famine when suddenly there was a vibration in the air, something humming so deeply she could feel it under her skin. How Caelius had managed to get between them, she did not know, but Eris could find it in her to neither be impressed nor care one way or the other. Immediately her expression had twisted, teeth bared in a hiss of hatred and fear at the weapon and it's wielder, her wings snapping up to spread as wide as they could, her back straightening dramatically as she stared at him. There may have been fear there, but it was the hatred which burned most passionately in her eyes, threatening death without even raising her voice.
"Nothing would please me more, Master-Hunter."
Snapping both large ebony wings to each side, one after the other, War's heir batted at Jordan as his attack missed, Leon close after despite the stinging blow he had dealt, already taking the steps to close the distance between herself and the Death Hunter. The steps she took were slow, her hips swaying in a tantalizingly dangerous movement, like a cobra, stiletto heels crunching the gravel until she was nearly close enough to touch him.
"Dance with me."HP: 46.5/60
