Yeah, but same could be said for us 20 somethings still playing vid games XD I say there's no such thing as 'sad' or 'pathetic' these days; if you enjoy it, go do it. I don't believe that you *have* to always be doing physically involving, going out or whatever to 'live life'. Maybe I don't want to live 'life', just *my* life. If at the end I come out having fun and not regretting anything, they by all means!

True, true. But at the end of the day they are what they are: games. And games are entertainment. In that regard, I don't view vid games under a different category than card games, or board games. They're different types of games, true, but they're all games.

my dad thinks its a waste of time and money for me to go to concerts, how ever i think it's not.. if it's something i enjoy, then its something i feel i put my money to good use for.. it's my entertainment, i love music, and the band.. so why is that bad? he also thinks i shouldn't spend my money on so many books and cd's as well..

Well it's your money I assume, so it doesn't matter what you do with it.. Even if it is technically wasting! I'd waste money on stuff I like aswell

heck you can find me watching cartoons from time to time and i'm 24.. i'll be home by myself, and i'll be sitting here with nothing to do and watch spongebob, of course spongebob is awesome, bust still.. love me the squidward, he's fantastic.. then i love all those animated movies, especially a nightmare before christmas.. last christmas i got my nightmare before christmas throw blanket which get's lots of love.. can be found with my jack skellington lights lit, and all sorts of other things being used a nightmare before christmas related.. i spend time on ebay sometimes, finding a nightmare before christmas related items, and every year for christmas one person at least get's me something for christmas related to it.. i even have me some jack skellington earrings and stuffs..
