He took a few steps forward, suddenly breaking out in a cold sweat. "D...don't worry about it, Julius..." His vision suddenly blurred, and he staggered forward, falling to the ground hard. His blade clattered down to the side, and his breathing suddenly became shallow as his view blurred out to black, leaving him on the ground, shivering in the mid-morning warmth.

"oh yes this is just great." ALi sighed jumping down off the roof. she went over and rolled him over hold him up somewhat. "Now Tera can you do anything for him, or Julius."

He continued to shiver as she lifted him up, trying to sit up. His head swam, though, and he fell back against her arm, rolling to the side. Suddenly, he was sick to his stomach, retching the contents of his stomach onto the ground.

"Hmm... don't we have anybody skilled in healing? " Julius asks curiously," because all I have is a broken sword." H could not do much trying to think of something to do.

Machus' eyes clenched tightly shut, and he whimpered quietly, physically reacting to his nightmare.
Deep in the back of his mind, he saw a crowd of demons, dancing around his body. He tried to move, but his arms and legs were lashed down. Slowly, the demons took out knives, cutting into his body. He tried to scream, but his mouth was gagged. He merely struggled against the bonds, eyes frantic as he tried to break free.

Julius could only think of one thing. He drew out the ancient hilt that was Excalibur's. It had a small fragment of the blade, in which he hoped retained the holy strength it was said to carry. He had watched the blade glow eerily as he held it over Machus.

Alianna, Held Machus in place while Julius did whatever it was he was doing. "I hope that works." Her upper lip was curled in discust from the smeel of the vomit beside her.

Tara looked at her injured friend "If your blade fails Julius, take him to my house and ask grandmother to help." She turned her head westward "Our trials for th day are not over yet friends." She could hear the distant sound of dragon wings beating, maybe four or five. "Riders, with dragin mounts maybe four or five it's hard to tell about twenty minutes away on the wing." her hands tensed on her sword hilt as she started back towards her home for the tools of her trade.

In his mind's eye, the demons faltered and broke away from Machus's body, his bonds fading out into nothingness. He could feel that they hadn't left him, though. Those demons were still prowling his body, seeking for some way to harm him.
His eyes opened slowly and he looked up into Alianna's face, smiling weakly. "Hey," he mumbled, wiping at his mouth. "How'd I get on the ground?"

Alianna looked down at him annoyedly, "You fell, then you puked beside us. It reaks now get up. I don't want to hold you anymore." Alianna gave him a little shove to get him off her.

Julius merely said nothing. It was all he could do to keep from exploding from joy. He let a meager smile betray an otherwise, emotionless face as he sheathed what little there was of Excalibur. It would probably be needed again soon... he just did not know how soon.

She returned to her friends noticing Machus's obivous bit of recovery and giving a slight smile before jumping on a near by rooftop as the vauge dots that were enemy riders appeared over the horizon. Too soon much too soon she thought biting on her lower lip and setting up a starnge looking oversized cross bow used for taking dragond out of the sky. "My friends" she called down to them,"get Machus under cover, Ali, Julius, I need your assitance most these are demon possed riders on demonic dragon mounts. I fear this battle will not be as easy as the first."

Alianna frowned "What did we do to desever this of a sudden like." She shoved Machus off her more forcefully this time. "Get up already, you'll be fine just go rest somewhere else."

Kira sighed as she walked quietly into a town she didn't recognize. probadly just like the others and didn't have what she was looking for..or better put as who she was looking for. She walked at a fairly slow pace and rested her hand on her hilt. the one that has been passed down to her. the one that was destined for only her hands.
