Xenoth turned around and sat up straight, head tilted back so he could see the vampire. "Sorry about that....long story.." he said to her. It was obvious he wasn't going back to sleep tonight. He never does after that particular dream.

"Please don't tell." she said gently as she flipped and touched the floor with her feet. "Would you like something to drink?" she questioned with a yawn, she obviously couldn't get back to sleep now.

Xenoth laughed a little and shook his head. "No it's alright...and I wasn't going to share anyway. I prefer to keep my past to myself." he responded in a quiet tone.

"I'm glad you weren't." she said bluntly, rummaging through her bag. She grumbled and bit and dug deeper inside the thing as she huffed gently. She pulled out clothes and shoes while she searched.

Xenoth laid back down on the bed and sighed a little. He glanced up at the vampire and gave her a curious glance. "What're you looking for?" he asked.

She turned to him, a saddened look in her eyes. "I...I can't find my blood." she said softly, turning back to her bag as she pulled out more clothes. "I had them right under my shoes. Now they're gone." she in a scared tone.

Xenoth looked back to her and shrugged. "Did you check your veins?" he joked a little as he stood and walked towards her. "Well...I didn't take it if that's what you're thinking. But I don't recall seeing you drop it anywhere either. You sure you still had some?" he asked. Despite her somewhat cold attitude towards him so far he was still trying to be kind and helpful.

"I'm positive. I had enough for three weeks in this bag. How could I loose three weeks worth of blood?" she nearly shrieked in a panic. She tossed a shoe behind her and then started pulling things out of the bag and tossing them into a pile. "Where...where did it all go?" she said frantically.

Xenoth shrugged and thought for a moment. The cloaked inn keeper crossed his mind. That man had seemed very odd from the beginning. "Perhaps...could it have been stolen?" he inquired.

"Why would anyone steal blood?" she said in a sniffle as she sat on the floor. She wiped her eyes as she started crying and buried her face in her hands. "This isn't right!" she said through a silent cry.

Xenoth looked surprised that she started crying and shouting like a child. "Er...hey it's alright heh. We'll find your blood ok?" he tried to console her. He thought again back to the inn keeper. Why indeed?

She sniffled and looked up, the stern edge on her face gone completely. "Y..you sure?" she asked gently, rubbing her face with her sleeve sadly.

He nodded and held a hand down for her to take. "I promise. And if we can't find it we'll just replace it." he said. He thought about the implications of that last statement and wasn't sure it was a good idea to promise such a thing. After all replacing her lost blood would mean bleeding other people.

She nodded and closed her eyes as she took his hand. "You still reach of blood." she whimpered gently looking away so she wouldn't be in direct line of him.

Xenoth looked down at his clothes and smiled apologetically. "Sorry...let me change" he said to her. He grabbed his small bag he had brought with him and brought out a long sleeve, loose white shirt and some simple, similar pants. He changed out of his bloody rags quickly and stuffed them into the bag.
