When a dark veil drifts over the small forest town of 'Kael', everyone goes into a panic. The atmosphere darkens, the people become testy. One day, the butcher accuses an orphan of stealing food, and no one believes the child did it. She was living with the church, and had walked in after another child's ball, then walked out. The butcher, in a blind rage, hits the child across the back of the head with one of the tools. The town is in an uproar as rumors spreed of demons possessing the once kind butcher, as well as other citizens. Everyone and everything had turned into a step away from being a murderer.
You have decided to visit the normally shiny town, to find it black and rainy, the once cheery people on edge and unhappy. What's a tourist to do when the town goes after them? Why, fight back of course. Please Post your profiles with the following requirements. Name: Avatar Name: Age: Gender: Race: (Haha, I'm lame) Appearance: (pics would be nice) Attitude: Other: (optional of course)

With a dull thunk a young woman hurried out from the buss and under a small station ramp as the rain slipped down on the ground. She panted, catching her breath as she waited silently for the rain to slow. If it didn't, she'd have to dig her umbrella out from her bag. She had four set on the bench as she waited, her hand on the railing. She tried looking past the drear of the fog and saw glints of the town lights a few ways off.

Xenoth stumbled along the forest path, his wings torn and bloody. He lurched slightly as another heavy cough brought blood from his throat. "Damn...I hope I don't die out here in the middle of no where of all places..." he said aloud to himself. Through the dark night fog he saw the faint hint of lights. A struggled sigh escaped his lips as he felt invigored by the thought of salvation. He trudged on painfully, heading for what he thought to be the warm hospitality of a forest town.

With a heavy sigh she stood and grabbed her bag, fumbling through it as she grabbed a large umbrella. The smell of salty rain carried blood to her noise, but the direction was unknown due to the downpour. She looked about and shoved the bags together as she readied herself to go toward that town in the sloppy mud.

Xenoth slipped and fell into the mud. "Damnit...what is with this rain? It's almost intentionally making things difficult" he said to himself. The bloodied angel pushed himself to his feet and started on again. He came to the edge of the town, which seemed eerily quiet other than the raging rain that fell. "Hello!? Is anybody here?!" He shouted above the storm as best as he could.

So`na walked up to a small entrance before the town as the bloody smell grew. "What's...what's with the blood?" she whispered gently. She heard a shout and looked gently, then trimmed her eyesight, her eyes glowing red. The rest of her sight went grey, all but the massive blood flow a few feet away. She ran forward quickly. "Don't shout!" she called to him.

Xenoth looked up at the young girl who ran up to him. His eyes widened with surprised for only a brief moment. A vampire? This...might not be good he thought to himself. The angel stood up as straight as he could. "Sorry....I...obviously need some assistance. Are you from this village?" he asked kindly.

She shook her head. "No, I'm not from here. But the blood around here..." she shivered and shook her head. "It's heated, and thick." she said slowly, her eyes slowly draining from it's gentle red glow. They returned gently and she pointed in the rain under her umbrella. "The atmosphere is thicker than with just rain." she whispered.

Xenoth nodded, also feeling that something was off about this place. "I know what you mean...this place feels....ominous....But I must recover." he answered her.

She nodded and shoved the umbrella over him. "Come on." she said simply, grabbing his arm and pulling him along in the silent splash of the muddy path that lead to the town.

Xenoth gunted as she half dragged him along. He was only half concious now. "Heh...a kind vampire...not very common though they do exist apparently." he said with a painful laugh. He did his best to hold himself up and walk with her.

"Do not believe I am kind just because I am helping you." she said in a soft voice. "I just can't stand the smell of this much blood in the hair." she said unhappily as she pulled his arm a bit harder. She peered through the fog and slowed down to a small cottage. She squinted and looked back to him. "Do you have a room here?" she asked, referring to the cottage Inn she stood before.
