"Irene! Get over here!" She heard the Ruler scream at somebody.
"Hm?" The Editor walked poked her head around him to see a human caught in a standard Time Lord force field, probably outdated by now.
"Will you get her out of there?" The Ruler sneered.
"Did you kidnap that girl?" She squeled.
"Just get her out."
"How nasty of you!" She laughe dand skipped to this Irene girl.
Irene ran up to the wall of the forcefield, being shocked back. This made the Editor laugh as she pulled out her wrench from her belt.
"Are you like a mime or something?" The Editor grinned. "I went to France you know, I was told there'd be mimes there, but there wasn't, I was very dissapointed." She spoke fast in a way that she didn't really intend for Irene to understand her.
Irene just stared, wide eyed.

Irene saw a strange punk-rock girl, about her age, walking towards the invisible cage she was trapped in. The girl was looking at her, and laughing.
She could see her! But would she help her escape from her mad confinement?
"Oi!" Irene ran towards her, but crashed into the force field and was sent back in a shock. By now, her hair was almost completely standing on end from all of the electricity.
"Help? Help me!" Irene said, feeling shaky from the umpteenth jolt she had received. The girl was saying something really fast as she was pulling out a wrench. Irene heard the words "France", "mime", and "dissapointed", but didn't understand what the girl was going to do.

Eddie watched as this Irene try to frantically say something but she couldn't hear. Eventually getting bored she sighed loudly as if to stop Irene, but she didn't hear either.
Eddie then went over to Irene's side and tapped the force field lightly getting slightly shocked and annoyed. Finally she reached for her wrench. She could see Irene seemed distressed at the sight of her wrench but she didn't mind. She then through the thing which broke through the force field and flew over an inch above Irene's head.
"AH! I see you are good at dodging wrenches..." Eddie beamed. "But are you good with dodging PEOPLE!?"
Eddie flung herself towards Irene.

"Oh, gosh!" Irene stumbled sideways as the strange adolescent flung herself towards her. The girl swerved to the side at the last moment, and faced Irene with a maniacal grin on her twisted face.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Irene felt herself step over the grass that marked the edge of the force field, but she didn't recieve a shock.
"Hey, you freed me!" There was a pause. "Where the hell am I anyway?"

"HAHAH, I'm just playing with you." Eddie said.
"Editor." The Ruler called, and Eddie turned. "Come along."
The Editor turned back to Irene with a careful smile. But Irene simply stared at her with confused contempt.
"Aw come on." Eddie laughed. "Just a joke you know?"
"Whatever. Just tell me where I am. And who are you. And who he is."
"Well I already told you I'm the Editor. And he's the Ruler. Remember?"
"Yeah but -"
"Irene!" The Ruler yelled.

"I need you to find a man named the doctor and bring him here." The ruler said to Irene. "Go, NOW!" He ordered.

Irene stared in disbelief at these two strange people who go by curious titles instead of normal names.
"It is true, now I know what they are called... but who are they?" She thought to herself bitterly. Neither of them had answered the most important question: where was she?
Her head still hurt from the whack The Ruler gave her, she was tired and aching from the repeated electrical shocks. Also, she was very confused and drained. Anger flared up in her mind, and her eyes narrowed as words started coming out of her mouth.
"Hey, Ruler or whatever you are called, who the ******** are you to tell me what to do? You do not order me. I am not in the mood to be ordered by some p***k who wants me to get him a doctor... get your ******** a** to the hospital if you are so concerned about your health."
She was not fond of this so-called Ruler, and his cohort Eddie just seemed a little off. And yet a third man with a title for a name was mentioned: The Doctor. The contempt with which The Ruler spoke of The Doctor gave Irene a spark of mirth. Then, she had an idea.
"Actually, I will find this doctor. Stay right there, I won't be long, whatever you do, don't move until I come back. You have no need to come looking for me if I have been gone long. Now, can you suggest where I start?"

Eddie was standing behind Irene at the time. She fought back a burst of laughter, instead going to c**k her head up and smirk.
"I think I like you." Eddie said to Irene, twirling her wrench.
"Editor." The Ruler scowled.
"I'll go with her." Editor walked up to the Ruler. "Keep an eye on her, she can't be damaged right, you need for that thing don't you?"
The Ruler made no expression, keeping a continuous glare on Irene as if examining her up and down.
"Besides, I need to find the Doctor before you go on with your little thingy you got going. Remember?" Editor smiled.
The Ruler still expressionless stared only at Irene. Then slowly turned his eyes away and then his face.
"Fine. Go. Both of you." The Ruler said, walking back into the library.
"SWEET! You got a car?" The Editor turned back to Irene. "I'll sniff him out for you."

Susan let out a sigh at his comment, "What do you mean by safer? At least in the car we have metal between us and what ever coming at us." In a sarcastic tone she said, "Let me guess, you're thinking that what ever cabby we get could turn out to be working for this guy?"

Irene stared at the Ruler, waiting for a reply, then Eddie announced that she would be joining her. Irene turned to face Eddie, shocked.
"Yeah, ok, just keep your wrench to yourself." Eddie smirked at Irene's comment.
"As for car... uuuh... well I don't know where the heck I am so no. Do you know where we are going? We can walk."

"Of course I don't know where I'm going!" Eddie beamed. "But see, if Ruler's right and the Doctor's here, I think I'll be able to find him."
She held up her wrist bands and winked.
"They're sonic. Get it?"
She then turned to the Ruler.
"I'll go get him but after that you don't have your mechanic."
She then started walking off, fiddling with her wrist bands.
"Come on, One-Heart." She yelled at Irene.

For a moment, Irene didn't move. She watched Eddie prance down the sidewalk, and then check one of her wristbands intently. What did she mean... sonic wrist band?
And what was this one-heart nonsense? (Irene thought she had met foolish before, but today seemed to supply vast amounts of foolishness and inexplicable randomness that could last her a few lifetimes and then some. She decided to ignore this one-heart buissiness for now.)
Anyway, who the hell was this Doctor fellow? She thought to herself suddenly.
"Hey!" Irene shouted, now running after Eddie. "Hey, who is this Doctor fellow anyway?"

"OH!" Eddie groaned.
She turned back to looked at the Ruler wanting him to explain, but he was by then going back into the Library for his own business.
"Urrgh." Eddie sighed. "I suppose I should tell you, if I must."
Eddie checked her wrist band as it made an odd noise of being ten years old, but she shook it violently before it began working again.
"For one, he owes me money. From a long time ago. And if he gave me the money I could buy the parts, and with the parts I could go home. Cept...he's going to have to give me a ride to get the parts. Well anyway. He's a small celebrity back home."
"How come I've never heard of him then?"
"Because, stupid, I said back home, my home, not your home."
"What the hell is your home then! I'm tired of this nonsense!"
"My home is 250 million lightyears away from here. Planet Gallifrey - the Shining World of the Seven Systems! I need this Doctor to get back home! And the Ruler apparently needs him for some...vague...evil, stupid plot. Okay? Do you get it?"

Irene stared blankly at Eddie for a second.
Then, surprising a couple of birds out of a nearby tree, she swung her arms in the air and shouted "******** Samuel!"
Eddie blinked in surprise at Irene's sudden outburst.
"I told him to be careful when trying to contact aliens... He's picked up a few strange signals on his computer before... and all because of his obsession I got landed with a few strange folk... hey... he didn't get kidnapped too, did he?" There was a strange apprehension in Irene's voice.
"He's like my little brother, you see. He's not that much younger than me... but he's always showing me stuff he's found out about the sky. Always staring through a telescope, it's like he's permanently got one attached to his face. Haha... He's paranoid that there is going to be an invasion of communist martians... his talk of aliens always scares the s**t out of my best friend Leeroy..."
Irene just found herself rambling about the comforts of home... it's been a few hours of shock and confusion for her. She wondered how she was gonna get home, but decided to wait until she met this Doctor who seemed to know how to solve everything. Maybe he could help her.
"So you are not human, huh? Umm.. what's Galliley like?" Irene asked cautiously, trying to be polite.

My Second Character
Name: Samuel
Age: 16 (during 2007)
Gender: male
Apperence:
-brown, short hair that has a tendency to stick straight up
-tan skin
-skinny, tall
-dark brown eyes
-dark blue shirt
-carrying a baseball bat
Situation: Sam is Irene's friend who was showing her what he found that was interesting on his computer, with relation to alien contact. He discovered a very strange noise that he recorded, unbeknownst to him it was the noise of the Tardis. Irene didn't have enough time to partake in this interesting discovery, because a man (the Ruler) had entered the room upon tracking the noise, desperate to find the doctor, and knocked Irene out. Sam was quick enough to hide under his desk, but determined to stop the man from kidnapping Irene he grabbed his baseball bat and followed them, but was discovered on the stairwell and had his hands bound by the Ruler who then proceeded to drag along Irene as well as hurry Sam into his Tardis. Sam was fascinated by the alien technology, and almost forgot that he was being kidnapped by a potentially dangerous being.
