Volker opened the door and walked out of the apartment building, following after the two kids who had been out on the street below his window. "You won't get far little ones," he muttered. A strange tone was in his voice. It almost sounded like he enjoyed hunting them down. "Oh no... you won't escape me."

Mylan's face had softened by the time Flaze had entered, but she still had a stern voice. "Alright then, go ahead and take a seat." As she spoke, she continued to shuffle the cards, quicker now. Finally content on them, Mylan removed the top half of the cards, and laid the bottom half face down on the table. She quickly spread the cards on the table, eyeing Flaze as she did, then sat back in her chair. "Pick a card. Don't pick it up, just point." On many occasions, the person had picked up the card, sending Mylan into a franzy. The carnival owner told her to control her temper, but it bothered her.

Flaze looked at all of the cards. then, she pointed to the one that was left of the center one. She put her hand back in her lap, watching.

Volker hastened his pace as he chased after those two kids. He reached the carnival where they claimed to have been. "They're like sitting ducks. I'll catch them when they're sitting down, getting ready to go on a ride, getting a snack, all marvelous options." Volker grinned as he paid to get in. 'Can't be starting anything before I get in there...' he thought, plotting his objectives.

Mylan looked thoughtfully at the card a moment, then cleared all the cards that were slightly on top of it, leaving her card at the top of a pile. She picked up the card, laid it down on the table face down, and then laid another card face up on top of that one. "First your past," she said while laying another face up card next to it. She discareded two of the cards on top of the pile and laid one more face up. Mylan studied them, running her fingers over all of them before speaking. "You seemed to have had a rough childhood. In a crowd of kids, you were a loner. Maybe it was from a loss of respect, maybe abuse. Or perhaps from lack of parents. I don't see anybody with you these past few years." Mylan looked up into Flaze's eyes. "Am I anywhere close?" Sometimes her predictions were wrong, which had seemed more frequent now. However, she did occasionally catch something in their eyes saying they knew what she meant.

Flaze looked down. "That's really close." Flaze said. She didn't want to say that it was exactly right. Flaze looked back up at Mylan and waited.

Mylan smiled slightly, but it was hidden behind her veil. "Good." She discarded all the cards on the table. "Now for your future." A card was laid down; the picture showed wings. Mylan went through another process of laying down cards. "Okay." She looked at the cards somewhat puzzled, but went about it. "You are in danger," she whispered, eyes fixed on the cards. With all the people she had read, nothing was as strange as this. "You are wanted for what you are and what you are not. They will try to cage you, but you are needed..." Mylan rested a hand on her forehead and slightly shook her head. "I'm sorry. I can't seem to read this. Whatever is causing this problem, it has something to do with this." As she spoke, her finger rested on the wings.

Flaze looked at the card and nodded once. She immidietly started thinking hard. Who exactly is after her, and for what reasons? Did it have to do with the two men earlier, or not? Flaze shook her head, then stood up. "Thank you." She said, and walked out of the tent. As soon as she was out, she looked up towards the sky, still in deep thought.
((I have to leave soon))

((Alright. Toodles. ^.^))
Mylan only sat as Flaze left, but as soon as she was gone, she stood and watched after her from the tent. "Why do I have this feeling?" Her entire body shook, though she was not exactly sure why. But before she could ponder on it to long, a girl pushed her way into the tent, watching with curious eyes. "Is it to late for my fortune?" she asked shyly. Though Mylan wanted to watch Flaze, she turned to her cards on the table and sighed. "No, there's plenty of time."

Silver and Jackie noticed the man, he had an odd sense to him, and from the directions Silver had given her he had been following the same two she was. "This isn't good..." she muttered walking up to the man "wait what are you-" Silver cut off when she tapped the man on the shoulder. "Hello sir, you seem to be looking for someone that you shouldn't be, there a reason?" she asked knowing if her was a member of the bad people as her father called them, he would easily regonize her Aguatica markings. She wantws to fight, she needed to. {{ stressed Okay, no offence Shadowfire I was talking to you, so please read the posts}}

Flaze slowly walked around, keeping her head down. She was trying to make sense of the fortune telling, but nothing seemed to connect. 'Some times it's wrong...' Flaze thought to herself. That didn't work, because she still wanted to figure it out.

Walking into the park, Volker pulled his hat down in an attempt to hide his face. "Here puppet..." he whispered, "I'm not going to hurt you... yet." Looking around, he saw her. Letting out a quiet, evil laugh, he walked up to her. "Hello Miss. It seems I've lost my way. Could you point me in the direction of the restrooms?" he asked Flaze. "Surly you would help a poor, lost man like me."

Flaze looked up at the man. She pointed in a direction, then slowly started walking away. Strange enough, the wind seemed to be pushing her in the direction she was walking in. 'Weird...' She thought to herself.

((Sorry! I live in the UK. And I had school.))
"Hey." Zephyr called, running up to Flaze. "Where have you been?" He asked her. He frowned. It had felt like running through water.

Flaze shrugged. "Sorry. I just decided to explore. I got my fortune told." She said, and wasn't very happy about it. The girl seemed to get her past exactly right, so would that mean her future fortune was right? But how? Flaze tried to push those thoughts aside, which wasn't working.
