Shadow continued to talk, but there was a tingling in the back of his skull.

Pulling the classroom completely shut she looked both ways of the hallway in decision. Giving a sigh she turned to her left, down the hallways steps and continued onward pushing open the front doors to the school. School staff nowhere in sight as she walked down the concrete stairs and looked back at her school before looking forward again and broke into a run, not turning around once.
As the priest preached his stories only one student caught this sight, Brad. He sat near the window and had a tendency to space out, looking out the window all he saw was Brooke's back. Taking a quick glance at the priest he decided against snitching her out.
Brooke had gotten beyond of sight of her school grounds by the time she stopped. Heaving a little hard she looked up to see the old playground she had visited a lot as an infant.

Feeling her run, he smiled. "well kids. it seems that one of your classmates has decided to play hookey. well, i'll have to go get her." he gestures a farewell, and walks out of the classroom. as soon as he was out, he ran. he stepped outside, and wind boomed, rattling the windows, and with a screach, all the glass shattered. the wind was howling, and storm clouds filled the air.
Talon's eyes widened, and he took off at a dead run, heading for the girl.

Still out of air Brooke stood up feeling the wind against her face, calming as it was her mind was buzzing annoyingly. She was having a bad feeling, her adrenaline kicked up again and next thing Brooke knew she climbed up one of the tall slides and jumped on the fence, wasting no time in hopping over it, running pasted some backyards and finally stopping till she could no longer run anymore.
She dropped upon the backyard lawn to the Jankins, luckily Mrs. Jankin had a doctors appointment so Brooke wasn't noticed. She could taste the blood pumping throat her throat.

Talon growled and shifted to his avian form. he leaped into the air, flying against the wind. he soon spotted Brooke, and landed on the ground next to her, shifting to human form immediately. "we must go now! if we don't, somwtihg bad is going to happen."

Green light flashed, and there was a boom, as of thunder, but a million times louder, and more intense.

Brooke pushed herself up from the grass in awe at the weather, her gaze wondered to the man she was suddenly doubting was a priest.
"Who are you..?"

he growled. "my name is Talon Avarrianna." he stood there, hands on the swords that had now become visible to her.

Her tension level sped up fast as she watched this guy, unsure. But doing as she was told she ran to the place she thought of, home.

there was an explosion of light, and suddenly, lightning lanced down from the sky, bolt after bolt after bolt fell, sending the ground a-trembling.

Brooke skidded to a stop turning around in alarm, but blinded from the light.
Her hand shielding from the light she shouted out the teachers name, shaking from shock.

suddenly, it stopped, and Talon leaped from between the buildings, followed by something that looked like a Gryffon, but black, with red eyes. Talon turned, holding out his hands, and lightning flashed out from his hands, lowing a hole in it's chest.
