Mahna took another long drink of the ale. "I don't know. Where the winds guide me." He replied, touching the jewel on his forehead with his right hand.

Salyf grinned. "Thanks," she took the key from Dorothy and headed upstairs to put away her gear. so she went down again, she looking for the part-time waitress. "Let me help you with..." she vaguely indicated the bar, "this. Whatever it is." Salyf felt slightly guilty for borrowing the room without some sort of payment and she need to find out what happened to her contact. In Salyf's mind, a bar was as good a place to start than any. Plus, if the Korats she was avoiding came, well, there was always the excuse of a bar fight.

Dorothy looked up at her from filling some cups,"Barkeeping. That's what this is. As for help, don't need too much it's not busy. Unless you want to take drink to the gesser who likes to 'cop a feel'." She turned back to the drinks and filled them up and handed them over the bar to the guy waiting for them.

"Er... No, thanks." Salyf smiled. She did not feel like dealing with gessers right now. Instead, she headed back up the stairs and scanned the bar. Sthas coiled around her arm, licking the air with his tongue for immediate signs of danger. Salyf reluctantly clambered back into her temporary room and fell asleep.

Dorothy sighed and grabbed a tray and a drink. Don't you touch me geezer, Dorothy thought to her self as she headed towards the table putting a barmaid smile on.

In the moment or two it took him to get over his dream, he had put on his clothes and picked up his pack. He was pretty sure that he hadn't ued the room for as long as he paid for, but the publican could keep the extra as intended to be a tip (for starting the barfight).
Ishod shrugged his shoulders, noticing there was no mirror in his room. He was just going crazy, it wouldn't be the first time, but this is the first time it started in a dream. He head out to the hallway and down the stairs, taking seat at the bar and smiling at a new barmaid who was working the floor with an evil "no hands" look.
He just looked out into the bar before he noticed Manha and his ward were still in it, but he decided not to bother them.

Dorothy gave the man his drink and headed back towards the bar, barely missing the geezer trying to grab for her. She slid behind the bar and sat her tray down. "What can I do for you kind sir?" Dorothy asked in her smiley barmaid voice.

Kyrana walked into the Red Goblet and paused, partially for effect, and partially so her vividly purple eyes could adjust to the light, or lack thereof, in the room. The Inn was not really crowded, but the patrons were far more drunk than she was accustomed to. She stepped lightly into the room, careful not to step into anything that would ruin her satin slippers. Picking up her dark green silk coat so it didn't hit anything, she carefully picked her way across the room to the bar.
"Pylo, are you sure about this place?" She murmured. The mouse on her shoulder peeked out from her curtain of silky black hair. "Yes, yes...I am sure." The mouse replied. "Everywhere else is out of our budget range. Perhaps if you hadn't had to have those shoes..." "I love these shoes!" She interrupted him curtly, with a dramatic sniff. Pylo gave a small, mousey sigh. "Fine, then. No complaining."
Kyrana silently thanked Puck that she'd remembered to wear pants with her low-cut turquoise top instead of the matching short skirt as she slipped around chairs and people, most of whom stopped what they were doing to stare at the elegantly-dressed woman. She finally made it to the bar, dusting off a stool before settling down near the barmaid and a man she was talking to. She appraised the blonde man while waiting for the barmaid to finish with him. He was perhaps a little taller than she generally liked. He flashed a smile and a couple of coins to the barmaid, and Kyrana caught a glimpse of dark grey eyes. She smiled to herself. She was partial to grey in humans, as fae and Korat never had that color. It was particular to humans alone. From her shoulder, Pylo made a sarcastic noise.
"Quit goggling at that lanky man already! We need a room and food. We don't have time..." He ranted for a few minutes and Kyrana gave a sigh. "Oh, lighten up, Pylo." She murmured. "A girl can look, can't she?" She flashed the mouse and the room a wide smile and waited for the barmaid to get a free minute.

Dorothy smiled and poured him a glass of ale,"Well that's mighty kind of you sir. Thank-you." She handed him his glass and turned towards the lady who just walked in."How may I help you tonight, ma'am?" Dorothy's eyes scanned over the lady, what is a girl like this doing in a bar at this time? Better keep my ears and eyes open.
{{EDITED! Sorry about that.}}

Kyrana nodded to the barmaid.
"I need a room. And perhaps a wine if you have one." She smiled widely at the woman, tossing a couple of coins on the table. She turned around and gazed around the room thoughtfully while waiting for her drink.

Dorothy grabbed a key and slid it onto the bar,"Room 13. The only wine we have is red, hope that's okay with you." She flipped a wine glass from under the bar and grabbed a wine bottle from the shelf behind her. She filled the glass and sat it on the bar and picked up the coins. She sat a copper coin on the bar,"Your change."

Ishod watched the transaction between the two women and couldn't help but smile into his glass of ale. After a few sips, he leaned over on his seat and talked to the woman who had just bought the wine, "is it me, or is everybody a little too uptight in this town?" he asked, smiling his charming smile.

"Red is fine." Kyrana told the barmaid. She accepted the glass and waved a hand at the woman. "Keep the change." She pocketed the key with a nod. Kyrana took a sip of the wine and favored the man next to her with a dazzling smile.
"I agree completely." She said, twisting to the side slightly so she could get a better look at him. This act also gave him a better look at her cleavage, but she didn't bother to fix it. "Where are you from, stranger?" She asked, taking another drink of her wine. From her shoulder, Pylo gave a snort of disapproval.
"His clothes are dirty." The mouse informed her. Kyrana ignored him and smiled at the human.

Ishod couldn't help but to notice the mouse, but answered her question without pause, "A far dryer and more temperate place than this," his eyes wandered over her, she was quite the looker, but there was always a catch to ladies that looked this good, so he decidedly kept his mind in check, even he knew when he was beat.
"And you my dear? The forests of the North perhaps?"
