"Well, as long as you're certain." He nodded slowly as he stepped back, closing his eyes for a moment. He could at least give the two ladies a second or two to agree before shoving himself back into the conversation.
"As long as I'm not out too late..." She glanced up at the sky. Judging by the positioning of the sun she still had a good bit of time to chatter with the other two before she had to worry about heading home in time to find warm. She wouldn't want to impose beyond that.

"It's still early." She looked up for a moment before shifting so she could see the two better. "How have you been Acheron?" Since she hadn't seen him in a while it would be good to catch up on what he'd been up to.

"Trapped. The recent snow storm that seemed to flood the plains with white fluff kept me down by the sea for a bit longer than I would have liked despite the time it gave me with my family." He nodded slowly. "Ela is well, as are mother and father... Trucido, my brother, is still nowhere to be seen... And no one else has been to visit which, I assume, must mean they are still somewhere around here."

"Well at least you got to spend time with your family." That was always good. Ela had probably liked having her brother around for longer than a night for once. "The snow has been horrible lately. I'm glad that it's finally melting enough that you can walk though it."

"Next time you'll just have to stay. Then you won't have to worry about the snow." He nodded slowly. "Just the wind... Which won't be all that bad for you because you don't have to fret about flying in it."
"It's so nice to fly over the snow now..." She said sheepishly, not meaning to interrupt their conversation even though she'd been invited by Kalosyni to take part in it. "... Landing in it is a bit like... Like landing in thick water, I'd think."

"The wind is still bad even if you can't fly in it. It bites rather hard." She laughed softly as she thought about huddling behind things to keep out of the wind. "The snow isn't all that bad though. Not when you have company at least."

"Yes, the snow is much nicer when you have company..." She nodded slowly, thinking of the time she'd spent 'playing' in it when it wasn't too deep when she was younger as well as the night she'd spent in it alongside her childhood friend.
He looked between the pale mare and his friend for a moment, brow lofting slightly. "Now... Why is it that you both seem to have the same look on your face when you say that? As if you're both thinking of something else?"

"Hm? Look?" She tilted her head to look at him. She had a look on her face when she said something about snow and someone else? She had really liked spending the night with Acheron and his family. It had been warm and comfortable.

"Yes, look." He tilted his head to the side, watching Kalosyni for a moment. "The same dreamy look that Ela gets every time she talks about the sea."
"Ooh. I know that look. That look usually means that you are thinking about someone special... And not just some thing." She smiled, closing her eyes for a moment as her feathers rustled, bringing in a bit more air to warm.

"Oh, so the same thing Nyx gets when she's thinking about Mordecai .... and i guess the same one i get when i'm thinking about you." She smiled brightly half not paying attention to the fact that saying something like that might make Acheron uncomfortable.

"Me? Never." She shook her head slowly, midnight strands swishing against her neck as she tried to hide a smile. Things were starting to seem a bit warmer... Maybe it was the sun.
His brow lofted slightly as he looked to Kalosyni, contemplating what she just said while keeping his current thoughts to himself. A soft smile tugged at the corners of his mouth, brightening the gloomy colors of his face if only a bit.

"You do get this dreamy look on your face when you talk about him. So it has to be something." She smiled and laughed softly at her new friend's words. Nyx seemed to try to hid it but she did care for Mordecai and missed seeing him.

"Perhaps, then, I should find this nephew of mine and tell him that his wandering absence has made someone miss him... Now that the weather is nice he may be returning to the sea, if we are lucky." He nodded slowly as he tilted his head towards the mare with the midnight hair. "Tell me, lady, have you ever seen the sea?"
She shook her head slowly as she glanced down. She really hadn't wandered any farther than the forest from the plains. "But I know what it smells like..."

"You should go there at least once. It's beautiful" She had decided that everyone should see the sea at least once in their life. "Maybe you should go down there and look for Mordecai? He might have taken a trip home for once?"

"I... Wouldn't even know where to go... Or what to look for once I was there." Her brow furrowed slightly as she glanced at the ground once more.
"That would be where we come into play... I was born by the sea and Kalosyni has been there with me before. Either of us, if not both of us, could guide you there." He nodded slowly. "I would be honored to escort both of you to the sea... And I am certain that my family would welcome another bright, beautiful face."
