Seru smiled, wishing she could see what the pair looked like. She beckoned Shisharen over, and said loudly, "Soon, it'll be dark. Night falls fast in these mountains, and we'll probably have to set up camp before that. So, all in favor of stopping now, say aye!" Seru was exhausted, and her strength was low. Ifrit understood that, and grunted his assent. Koro i'ida squeaked, then lifted her paws into the air. She looked at Hanne hopefully. She was so adorable, it would be hard to refuse...

Hanne smiled and nodded in agreement. "Sure." He said. "I'm starting to slow down anyway. I don't want to start running on reserve energy."
Shisharen simply nodded her agreement, but didn't move any closer tot he rest of the group.

Seru suddenly stiffened her spine. She'd only just become aware of the female hiding in the bushes. She charged, a smile on her face, and quickly tackled whatever it was in there. The two females wrestled for a bit, while Ifrit merely chuckled. Finally, he stepped in between them, and pulled them apart.
"Hey, Mera-chan. Looking good," he chuckled. The pink-haired female had claw marks on each cheek, as did Seru, and the two females look at each other with simply playfulness in their eyes now. Suddenly, the two burst into laughter, and tried to hug each other. Ifrit blushed.
Koro i'ida shuddered suddenly. She was cold...

Shisharen looked in confusion at the event that was unfolding. She would have gone to help Seru when she went to attack someone in the bushes, but she stopped when she saw that the two of them were laughing. "What..." She asked, then paused, trying to sort out exactly what she wanted to know.
Hanne glanced down in suprise at Koro i'ida. "Wht's wrong?" He asked quietly, before turning his attention to the cuts on the girls' cheeks. "Let me get those." He said, moving over to the two. "I promise I won't fall again.." He said to Ifrit, then did a double take when he saw the man blushing.

Seru flopped down, and Koro i'ida crawled over, curled up, and whimpered. "Is it nearly Twilight, Ifrit?" she called.
"Yeah. Is Koro i'ida gonna need the spare outfit, or can she turn into something with clothes?" Ifrit asked, setting his heavy pack down.
"I think she'll manage," Seru replied. "Shisharen, this is Mera, Mera, Shisharen and Hanne." Mera bowed to both of them.
Mera recoiled from Hanne, and hissed, "I wouldn't touch my face if I were you, tree-boy. I've got a core temperature of fire..."

"Eep!" Hanne yelped, yanking his hand away from her. He eyed Mera nervously before turning to look at Seru. "are you going to let me heal those?" He asked. He sounded sleepy, and was moving more stiffly than before.
Shisharen nodded at Mera, and sat down on the ground slightly near Ifrit. She looked over her lance as was her habit, making sure that it hadn't gotten damaged.

Slowly, Koro i'ida began to change. She grew larger, and less fluffy. She grew into a humanoid female, about 4'3" in height, but she was curled in a fetal position. Her fur had turned into a blanket, and, clutching it to herself as dusk settled in, she sat up. "Yo, Ifrit, gimme some clothes. This blanket's itchy..." she mewled at him. Ifrit blushed, nearly passing out, then tossed a pack at her, and hid his face.

Hanne fell over in suprise, staring at Koro i'ida in suprise. "What? how-" He stammered. By now, he was moving quite slowly, almost as if he was trapped by molasses. Shisharen was suprised as well, but much less than Hanne. She had been around a shapeshifter, so she was at least knew that changes like that happened. She simply sent a bemused look at Ifrit, and turned back to her lance.

"Alchemy gone wrong, Mister Hanne," Koro i'ida chuckled as she changed behind a non-sentient tree.She came back out with a wide smile on her face, and her clothes in careful array. She hugged Hanne, then Shisharen, then Seru, then Mera, and lastly Ifrit. He paled immediately. The human form of Koro i'ida always freaked him out.
Mera giggled, then lie down on the ground to watch the first star winking at her. Seru and Koro i'ida began to play patty-cake, and Ifrit sharpened his blade a bit more, blushing again. He hated being like this.

Hanne looked like he was going to say something still, but he closed his mouth and flushed when Koro i'ida hugged him. His face stayed red, and he fidgeted nervously before finally getting in control of himself and seeming to fall asleep. Shisharen put up with the hug uncomfortably, and once she was finished with her haleberd she put it down next to her and leaned against a rock. She closed her eyes and began chanting softly.

Ifrit set up a small fire on the far side away from Hanne in the camp, and sat there, staring into it. He was afraid to fall asleep while that woman was there, traveling with them. Eventually, Seru and Koro stopped playing, and the three females started chattering about the males in the group.
"I think Hanne's got a kind of sweetness to him. Don't you Seru-chan?" Koro whispered.
Seru smiled, then nodded, and added, "But Ifrit's stronger."
"And meaner! I can't believe he broke our engagement just because I'm a cat-fire-demon and he's a mutt..." Mera hissed.

Hanne wasn't actually asleep- dryads don't need to. He was simply laying still to reserve his energy until the sun rose again. He caught fragments of the girls' conversation, and felt his face turning red. He moved his arms so that he was both hiding his face, and blocking his ears from more of their talk.
Shisharen finished chanting and looked around for a moment, seeming disoriented. Then she stood and walked over to join the other girls, carrying her lance with her. She didn't have anything to say, but it was soothing, almost, to listen to the chatter.

Koro i'ida lay a companoinable arm across Shisharen's shoulders, and smiled. "So, which one do you like better?" she asked, trying to include her. Seru and Mera were discussing ways to torment Ifrit that, if he could've heard, he'd have run away by then.

"Umm..." Shishaern shrugged uncomfortably. "I don't know. I wasn't focusing on that type of thing." It was true. Shisharen always thought in the mindset of a warrior. She viewed everything with a tactical eye, instead of pausing to look at things as Koro must. Then she blinked in suprise. "Oh, are you still angry at me?" She asked.

Koro i'ida shook her head no. "Forgive, then forget. Why would I be mad? I'm far too happy to be angry with you," Koro giggled. She laughed loudly, a deep, throaty sound compared to her light voice.
Mera and Seru stopped plotting for a moment, both yawning at the same time. Then, Mera pounced on her, and the two began to wrestle.
