Anna walked quietly across the square, snuggled into a warm black coat. She stopped as she looked over at Jacob and Lily. Her lip curling, she walked up to them. "God, what are you doing?" she said, dusgust coloring her tone, she turned to Lily. "Why on earth are you scrounging? Surely the school pays its janitors," she spat out the word, " enough, or are you so poor you have to shack with lover boy?" she sneered at Lily, and glared at Jacob.

Jacob heard Anna and was angered by her insult. He was by her side in an instant. "Some people actually have talent they want to share with people. Ours pays. Unfortunately, bad manners is not one of them so I guess you're out of luck." He grinned at her, his arm almost brushing hers he was so close. "Maybe I should show you another one of my many great talents." His knuckles crunched loudly and his sharp cannines twinkled from between his lips.

Lily was n her feet in moments, and placed a hand on his shoulder. "JAcob, she apologized, and porbably has gone through something similar. Everyone has their faults. She apologized." SHe smiled lightly, and it barely reached her eyes. "Don't hurt her.Please." The smiled again"BEsides- se is right in one meaning. I don't get paid enugh." She would tell him later, about the fact that she knew her job was looked down upon, and had still wantd it.

"Okay. Okay." He took a deep breath. "I'm fine...just a little edgy." He closed his eyes. "Still wasn't right. But I'm not going to hurt anyone...unless of course they hurt someone else first." He nodded, "Let's get back to playing or we could go if you wanted."

Smiling lightly, she shook her head"If you don't mind, I'd like to stay longer. I enjoy singing, and this town is small enough that I can do it without having to be worried about crowds." Smiling ligtly, she tilted her head sliightly to the left. "Please?"

Lily smiled, then nodded nad waited for him to play something, since he still had the guitar.She knew that she'd probably not know most of what he sang, but he still sang well.Smmiling lghtly, she watched him, sitting on the fountains edge.

((Aw, it's like a horror movie. Return of the killer ants.))
Jacob smiled at her. He began to run his hands over teh guitar stings, producing a light tune that was easy to dance to. "I got a girl, " He smiled at Lily, "Yeah, she's my whole world. She's all I'll ever need and all I'll ever know. No, I don't need anything else but her." He let the tune flow softer into complicated chords. "Her eyes are like the moon, light dusting of stars in her hair. She has the world on her fingertips and she paints the universe with her voice. She is all I will ever want. She is all I will ever need. She is the sound of rain on the windowpane, she is the summer breeze. She is al I will ever need." He leaned over and kissed her cheek.

(I think it's better now)
Lily smiled lightly, and kissed him lightly, nad not on the cheek. When he finished, she took the guitar and began to play a fast steady tune that would be played at a party. Her voice came uot fast and changing. She was resinging a song she sang before. It was the 'guitar thrumming' song.

Jacob wrapped an arm around her, carefull not to mess her playing up. He started to twine his fingers gently into her hair. He kept quiet, letting her play her beautiful music which he thought was better than his.

Lily played, and when the song ended, tshe whispered to him. "MY fingers are starting to go numb, so unless you want to play, I'd like to go." hShe smiled at him, before reached for the guitar case and pulling out the note,and stacking them. Uttrly confused about the form of currency herree , she handed them to him with a sheepish grin. "I don't know what is worth how much." Pulling off the guitar, she placed it in the case.

"They aren't that terribly hard." He counted them fast, pocketing the money. "We have plenty. People must like us." He smiled. He took her arm. "Follow the yellow brick road to Oz." He joked. "You really have to see that movie."

She chuckled, then shruged"Never really watched TV, but I'm okay with fixing that ." SHe smied up at him and stood p nad started walking towars the bus stop with him, when she heard a childs voi e go "AW, guess the pretty lady isn't gonna play no more." she glanced over her shouder to see a disappointed little boy standing nex to his mother.
