Warren lost himself in the kiss, his ability flaring threw him and when Rose pulled away he feared he hurt her but that thought was quickly dashed when she smiled at him again and began talking.
"It would be nice to start again, especially with you," He said once she was done speaking "And if we happen to stop someone else from feeling the pain we went through, then all the better."
Leaning in Warren started his own kiss, putting all he was feeling towards her and the hope he had, into it. At last he could start again and Warren couldn't think of a better fox to start again with.

Warren's kiss was unexpected and yet not at the same time. Once again, his warmth filled her, leaving her light headed, head-over-heels happy, and most importantly, safe. And for the first time, the real first time, in so long, Rose let go completely. She pressed against him, as hard as she could while still being tender. She reached under his leather jacket and T-shirt, feeling warm skin and fur, pulling him into a tight embrace.
She couldn't get enough of Warren. She filled her head until all she could think, feel, hear, see, taste, was him. No one else existed, no one mattered as much as he did.
Funny, she thought. All I really wanted was a gardening partner. And I got so much more.
Seconds, minutes, hours, days, flashed before her eyes. Forever and eternity existed in a single second. The kiss, that for Rose, didn't end, even when she finally pulled away from him, panting.
Her eyes were alight with fire, her passion, and just a hint of lust. She colored immediately, realizing just exactly what she'd done, not caring one bit, but still worried what Warren might think. She pulled a paw out from inside his clothing and cupped his cheek.
"Sorry, sorry," she said, her voice completely breathless. "I...uh...I should have...ummm," But she didn't know what to say, so instead she snuggled against his chest.
The sun was starting to set. Time to go home soon.
No, her mind refused. Never. Stay with him.

Warren, too, was panting when they pulled away from each other and his eyes reflected the lust, passion, and want back at her.
"Nothing to be sorry for," he muttered into her ear as he held her close, not wanting to let go, "I'm not, so neither should you."
Look up at the darkening sky, he frowned. Warren really didn't want to leave his beautiful Rose now that he had found her.
"I guess I should go home, even if I don't want to. I'll come help you tommorrow if that's alright with you." Warren said nervously, hoping it would be ok. He really wanted to see her as soon as possible.

Rose let out a strangled yelp and clung tighter to Warren. Now that her feelings had been completely unlocked and released, she realized she had a very big problem with Warren leaving. The thought was almost unbearable, in a what-if-something-happens-and-he-doesn't-come-back-? paranoid way.
"No!" she practically cried. "No leaving!"
Rose wracked her brain, trying to figure out something. Her house was a no, and quite frankly so was his. At hers they'd be teased relentlessly, though in a very loving way regardless, and she doubted that they would get the time she wanted if they left for Jay's. There was one other option. And honestly it wasn't a bad one.
"There's....ummm....couch in the shed....don't use it very often....pulls out....little rusty....but.....always keep clean sheets.....like to spend the night out here sometimes..." she gulped and mentally slapped her forehead. Since when did she become a blathering idiot?
Since it became Warren you wanted to stay with? her mind snirked at her. Rose internally snarled and shoved the voice away, and tried again.
"I mean, if you don't really have to be anywhere tonight...why not stay with me? Even if....ah....nothing happens....waking up to the smell of roses in the morning is amazing," it was hard not to keep the hope out of her voice. And she was failing miserably.
Thoughts of 'even if he says no, he wants to come back tomorrow. He can always come back' warred with 'oh Goddess please say you'll stay?' Still, Rose waited patiently for his answer, still in his arms and soaking up the warmth from his body.

Warren was startled when Rose yelpped and at first he thought she didn't want him to come back the next day. Luckily that thought was quickly dashed and a smile slowly formed on his face.
Giving her a quick kiss, "I would be honored to spend the night with you."
Warren hadn't dared to hope Rose would have wanted him to spend the night, and hadn't even asked, settling for coming back the next day. But now that she was offering, he wouldn't say no, and even if nothing happened, Warren was happy.

Rose smiled happily, giving him her own quick kiss back. She took his paw and pulled him quickly back into the shed. The blankets and sheets were in a cabinet and the couch was in the very back of the shed. She pulled it out and began to arrange the blankets into a nest like bed, very aware that Warren was a constant warm presence behind her.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, she was satisfied with the arrangement of blankets and stepped back. She was too charged for anything not to happen to night and the thought slightly scared her. Aside from...her rape, she'd never been with a male before. A male she actually wanted to be with.
She looked at Warren, passion and a little fear in her eyes.
"I....I don't....k-know what I'm doing now," she managed, and leaned toward him. "Help me Warren?"

Warren hated the fear in Rose's eyes and he promised himself she would never have a need to fear him.
Wrapping her up in a comforting hug, "It will be okay, I'll do whatever I can to make this good for you. We go as far as you want and if it all gets too much just say so and we stop. I couldn't live with my self if I hurt you."
Warren lead Rose to the newly made bed, "How about we just cuddle together and let things happen as they will." Warren suggested, content to just sleep in Rose's arms if that was all she was comfortable with.

Rose nodded, butterflies in her stomach, as she let Warren lead her to the bed. She leaned up, kissing him gently, cautiously, like they were both made of glass, pulling him down with her into the bed. She broke the kiss for a moment. And smiled up at him, face full of trust, worry suddenly gone. This was right. Warren was right. And nothing, not her fear, not her past, mattered beyond this moment.
"That's the one thing you could never do Warren," she murmured, as she began to remove his clothing. "Hurt me. You never will..."
"I'll always want you..."
She kissed him harder, pulling him down to her, to what she offered, every part of her that he could want, every part he could have. It was all his. Mind, body, and soul.
She lost herself, in heat, in desire, and sighed contentedly inwardly. This was where she wanted to stay forever.
She moaned in anticipation, lost beyond comprehension, filled her senses with Warren until nothing was left. Her body cried for his touch to an almost painful point, his warmth, his love, which kept her living, kept her breathing.
"Oh please Warren.....!" was all she could get out, all she could cry. She was gone, given completely over to the only one ever to reach under her frost, the first to reach her true self. To melt it and keep it that way. He was permanently under her skin, in her core.
Cuddling could definitely come later.
It was going to be a long, amazing, night.

Warren was curled up around Rose and had a slight smile on his lips as he looked at the sleeping vixen. Things had progressed quickly after they made it to bed but that hadn't mattered. Last night wasn't about having sex but rather forming a connection, one, that Warren hoped would last till the end of his days.
"I love you," Warren said quietly, not wanting to wake her up but needing to say it.
Having no desire to get up and ruin the moment, Warren settled back down and soaked up as much of the moment that he could. Eventually he fell asleep, the smile was still on his lips.

Rose lay quietly, exhausted, sated beyond words, feeling bone tinglingly good. Warren curled up around her, warm, protective, hers. A constant reminder that she wasn't alone anymore.
There were three categories that Rose could put copulation into. ********, for a lack of better term, was done for sheer pleasure. No strings attached. It meant nothing, absolutely nothing. Screwing, had emotions attached, but more like physical attraction, or mild liking. Screwing wasn't worth it either. But making love, now that was something completely and totally different.
And that's what had happened that night. Rose and Warren had made love, beautiful, sweet, passionate, toe curling, hair splitting, love. Rose remembered....and blushed....at some of the things they'd tried. But most importantly, was the fact that it had happened.
For what she'd been through, Rose had still considered herself a virgin. And she'd given her first good sexual experience to Warren. That warmed her more than anything else.
Because she'd wanted Warren to have it. Because he was amazing, and perfect, and because them together was perfection. And sheer bliss.
She felt him breathing, the rise and fall of his chest a comforting rhythm to sleep too. Oh, she could get way too used to this. Which was okay apparently, because one of the many things Warren whispered to her (because she wasn't going to go into the things shouted) was that he wouldn't leave her...ever. And she liked that. Liked it a lot.
But that night, Warren put the icing on the proverbial cake.
Just as she was drifting off to sleep, because apparently sex really did take a lot of energy out of the body, she heard Warren say the most perfect three words.
"I love you,"
She knew he thought she was asleep, and she let him continue to think that. He slipped off into world of dreams and Rose turned over carefully and quietly.
Placing a paw on his naked stomach, she felt his chest rise and fall in time with hers, just another thing that connected them.
"I love you too, Warren," she murmured, watching his face, that tiny smile on his lips. He was free of the worry lines that his face usually held.
The barriers that kept the outside world from his true self, she thought amusedly. He was so peaceful and so beautiful and so hers.
She knew that more than likely, he hadn't heard her. That was okay though. She'd say it tomorrow, when he was awake. And everyday after, just to remind him.
Oh yes, Rose thought as she settled down next to Warren. Sated, exhausted, happy.
Loved.
I could definitely get used to this.
