Beryll's face changed from amusement to aggravation at Alyss's comment. She didn't seem to understand that the life of a god in his own eyes was supposed to be interesting, not bland things one after another. The idea of a plot against another god had gotten his hopes up, so much that he had almost forgotten how he despised Alyss. "Well now, if you want to give your creation a test run, I suppose I could always do something for you. Just try not to level too much of the forest."
Beryll raised his arm above his head, and concentrated. He had never actually tried this, but he supposed it couldn't have much harm. The ground at his feet began to quake a little bit as some of it rose up, and some of the dead wood on the ground moved to join the chunk of earth that rose up. The materials molded together and shaped into a giant humanoid figure. A golem made from stone, dirt, and wood stood in front of Beryll now. He knew that it probably wasn't a match for this other golem, but it would prove entertaining if Alyss's friend decided to take up the challenge.
Beryll walked a few steps away, and took a seat at the base of a nearby tree to watch any ensuing battle.

"Oh there you are my lord Beryll. I have been looking for you, what do you think of haveing a war with one of the other countrys." Said Kasuki He walked over to him so sir what do you think about takeing over another country and owning more land and more servents to you.

Beryll had a mental eye roll at such a suggestion. Perhaps I should have hired a slightly older person to serve as a general, but his combat credentials had seemed good at the time. "Now control yourself, dear General Kasuki. First off, they aren't other countries, they are islands. Secondly, there isn't another island in the area that I would want to wa... to have in my possession."
He almost had said "wage war against" but that wouldn't have been completely honest, he would have loved to wage a full-scale war against the island of darkness, but he had no desire to own such a desolate piece of property.

But sir. They can be treated like countrys. They are all have people with a civlization. I know there is one place you want us to go against we just need to build our army. Just for protection then.

Beryll knew that he would have to break in this general carefully, he didn't want to crush his ambitions, for those were what would keep him strong. "We have a force for protection, and more could be rallied at a moments notice. There is no need to build armies, that only encourages the other islands to build armies, and then it all just gets messy and we all get nervous that we are going to attack each other. Besides, it might create turmoil on this island..." Which wouldn't be so bad, except then I'd have to deal with it myself.
Beryll knew what he was going to have to say. "Meet me back at the tower, I will be there shortly. There we can discuss such things. I prefer not to talk about this around a member in the darkness army." Beryll's eyes flashed towards Baden, as if to try and give his general a hint.

*by the time the Earth god's conversation had ended, Baden's golem has decimated the one Beryll rose and had already recovered the minor damage that had been inflicted on it. Fast healing was always an useful attribute...*
Well Lord Beryll, I thank you for the excersize. Now I must be off.
*since he had already expended all the teleportation spells he had prepared that day, he removed a scroll from inside his robe that had the spell scribed onto it. He cast it, putting a detaieled mental picture of his laboratory into his mind's eye and put the now blank piece of parchment back into his robes. He then willed both himself and his golem back to the fortress.*

When Kazuki got to the tower he walked around and practice his powers and learned a ne attack the death touch of eve he calls it. "This will be useful. I should try to keep it a secret for now" He walks around looking for a plant that can cure poisen. "Hm where is it. I know its up here"

Beryll didn't really care that Baden's golem had destroyed his own, he had intended it to happen thus, as he had no desire to truly test the full extent of an artificial creation. His body sunk beneath the surface of the ground, and it reappeared outside of the tower. He stepped into the tower, and slowly made his way towards the top to wait for his general.

Beryll looked in the direction that the voice came from, his general had managed to get here before him. An impressive feat considering that Beryll travelled using magic. "Well my general, your abilities have gotten you in one of the most respected positions on the entire island of earth, you are a general of the earth god. Your purpose now is, not to lead armies to other islands and conquer new territories, but instead several other duties."
The earth god tried to recall exactly what the duties of the generals were, some of them were rather strange and unnecessary, but they were still the duties of the general. "Your duties are to serve as my personal bodyguard, you must be able to answer to where I am at almost any given moment. You are also in charge of our warriors and the intelligence network. Do you understand?"

I just said with this whole peace thing all the time I just wanted some type of fun nothing has been hapening lately thats all" Kazuki walked twords some plants and his hand turned green "I can countrol it now the death touch" He said touching a tree as he did its leafs fell of it and then it satred to die "I can also bring it back to life" Kazuki said as his hand turned blue and placeing it on the tree it became beautiful again with spring blossems. "See. Whats the point to have power when you cant use it"

Beryll frowned at this show of power. His general had power of the life and death of vegetation, but did he know how powerful that could really be? Did he fully appreciate the value of the energy of life? But his question would have to be answered first. "Earth is steady, it constantly changes, but forever remains the same. It is from this that we must learn patience, for when conflict arises, it must be put down. I already am working on getting things moving, but it takes time, dear general. Oh, and do you know that, with practice, that very technique you used to kill the plant may be used to restore your own life force? If you draw on the earth's energy, rather than just remove it, actually pull it into your body, you will grow stronger for a short period of time. Do not rely on this though, it should only be used in short bursts."
Beryll leaned over to take a seat, and part of the stone floor of the tower rose up into the shape of a chair for him to sit in. He liked this general, it didn't seem that training him would be overly necessary.

I have revived a deer yesterday thats how I first learned this" Kazuki walked down to the tower exit "Sir I will leave now I have some other bussness to attend to" Kazuki said running out of the tower at very high speeds "Dose he know what he is talking about I cant belive him" Kazuki said in his head "Oh well I have to deal with it" He said stoping at the river
