"Hmm..." She pondered for a moment before realizing he was trying to help her up. "Oh!" She grabbed his paw and bounced a little off the ground to try to get up. He probably ended up taking most of her weight despite her attempt. "Sorry," she said softly.

"What for?" He sent her a puzzled glance, not releasing her paw till he was certain that she was settled on the branch and wouldn't fall off.

She carefully positioned herself so she could keep her balance easily. "For being so heavy," she laughed. "You had to do most of the work to get me up just one branch." She was careful not to laugh too hard, so as to not fall off.

Rajani shook his head. "You're not heavy." He looked up to a close branch above them. "Do you think you'll be able to get on to that one on your own?"

After he had let go of her paw, she almost wanted to answer his question with a 'no' just so he would take her paw again. But she decided that was not a good reason to make him help her. She frowned at her own selfishness. "I think I can manage it," she said optimistically.

"Let me know if you need any help. Otherwise I will follow behind you, just in case you slip at any point." He had it all planned out in his mind. If Sarai were to fall, he wanted to be in the best place to catch her.

Sarai nodded and started to climb. She reached up to the branch a little above them and dug her claws in a best she could. She ran her back feet up the side of the tree, pushing herself up. And finally she made it. "Whoo!" she cheered excitedly as she settled easily on the branch. "That wasn't bad at all," she folded her arms over her chest, looking as proud of herself as ever.

Rajani easily leaped onto the branch and settled by Sarai, acting every bit like the lemur he is. "Indeed. I know you could do it."
He smiled at her before looking up. "We have a long way to go up. Let me know if you start to get tired and we'll take a break."

Sarai nodded. She looked up, seeing how far they had to go. The distance and the height made her slightly dizzy. "Wow..." She held her head to better concentrate. "Alright!" She grabbed at the next closest branch and managed to climb up on it fairly easily. However the next branch was a little farther away. She eyed it carefully, deciding how it would be best to go about getting to it.

Rajani followed behind Sarai at an easy pace. He eyed the next branch. "Is it to far away for you?"

Sarai looked back at Rajani and frowned like she was hurt by what he had said. "No, I can do it," she pouted. Then she smiled and rolled her eyes. She reached up for the branch, but couldn't quite get it. She frowned again. "I got it." She grabbed onto the trunk of the tree and began climbing up to the next branch.

A chuckle bubbles out of his mouth as Sarai climbed up the trunk. She reminded him of an abnormally large squirrel. He continued to watch her, not planning on moving to the next branch till he was sure that she had settled on it.

"What're you laughing at?" She shot him a glance as she pulled herself up on the branch. She wobbled a bit but kept her balance. "Told you I could do it," said cheerfully as she waited for him to join her.

"Nothing." Rajani tried his best to look innocent. But well, he 's Demonic, they don't really do innocent. With a mighty leap and a flap of his wings, he landed on the branch beside Sarai. "Well I am happy that you proved me wrong."
