Allura smiled back at Drake, her heart beating with joy that he was ok. She was worried that he had pushed himself too far. Greatful for the words of rest she settled herself down next to him, not caring if he was dirty and sweaty from the activities of pushing over the trees. She was glad that they could take a moment in their training to pause and just lay next to each other.
Since each of them were attacking their own trees, she was unable to be close enough to him to feel satisfied. In the intensity of their training it was easy to see that Drake could easily block his mind from all things. Though she was always glancing his way in order to watch his muscles ripple as he tore through the next tree, or to pick up on a new technique of attack.
With a small sigh she nuzzled the side of his next and smiled happily. They were an excellent couple. Even with his family's battle swiftly approaching, she felt no fear for she knew that her king would protect her no matter what odds he faced, and she too would protect him. Closing her eyes she lay listening to his heart beat and dreamt of their future, no matter what the outcome ahead of them she new she would never be upset.

Drake(y) sighed happily, gently curling his wing over her, not caring that their sweat slicked bodies stuck together slightly, or that the dirty and splinters they had on their bodies pricked each other's skin. Gently, he tilted his head to n** at her ear in a loving manner, grateful for the chance to lay beside her once more. He adored feeling her sightly smaller frame curl next to his and he purred gently to her.
His serrated fangs barely left a scratch on her ear, he was far to careful to cause injury to is Queen, knowing that if he caused her harm. His heart would surely shatter in a millions pieces, only to be ignited in flame and tossed away like trash. He loved her far to much to allow harm to her, and if foals were going to be brought into the picture, he must be on his best behavior and to top strength to protect them. He had to be strong for her, who knew what their future held for them.
" I love you." He murmured, softly to her, his good eye tracing along her features. His ears were perched forward as a sign of precaution, but his body was relaxed beside hers. He blinked, had he ever told her he loved her? He couldn't remember at the moment, but he had felt the urge to just whisper the words to her, as if knowing that is what she needed to hear.
Flicking his spaded tail, he lent his cheek against the top of her head, careful of the warm flames that licked the air.

Allura felt chills run through her body as she felt Drake gently scratch her ear. He was so powerful and could easily be dangerous, yet he took extra caution to never hurt her. She felt completely safe with him, and knew that she would never have to fear anything so long as she had his love. At the murmur of those three sweet words came from his lips she swooned inside. Her heart pounded in joy and she nuzzled his side. "As do I, and know that you will forever hold my heart." She said soflty
Closing her eyes she allowed herself to melt into his warmth and become almost one with him. Had anyone glanced in their direction they would figure it was but one yuma. To her it felt exactly like that. She smiled, happy that she finally found someone who she knew she would give her all for.

Drake(y) smiled slightly, his lips curling back over his fangs as she practically melted into his body, her muscles relaxed against his while his molded to help her get comfy. Flexing his shoulders slightly, he felt the muscle underneath roll and caress against her side, like a slight massage. Tilting his head, he nibbled on her ear once more. It was a habit of his.
Flicking his spaded tail, he barely heard it snap within the air, it melded into the cackling of Allura's flames, that seemed to swelled up and dance along her body, and his as well. Like a caress, he could feel the warmth the flames made as they contacted his coat and relished the sensation.
"As you hold mine, my Queen." He whispered softly in her ear. "My heart is yours, and even if it stops beating it will always be yours." He murmured. "I've never felt this way before, My Queen, my soul calls to you when you are gone, screeching loudly within my ears to stop everything to find you. You are the angel that quelms my demonic heart."
And how demonic said heart was, a decendant of Nightmare and he had once had been as ruthless as his sister. Dragging in destroyed kills and feeding before the family that didn't want to see it. Controlled by a rage over his brother Constatine, rage toward his life and the others within it. He had wanted t destroy the world at once point, his boiling rage had almost consumed him.
And then he met her.
Everything just seemed to melt away at the sight of the mare that was now curled up against his side, and at said point. He had vowed that she forever would have him as her Guardian, her love, her mate and protector. He would be there, even if she had pushed him away.

Allura opened her eyes slowly, first forgetting where she was but as she felt the gentle breathing of her love beside her she instantly calmed. After all, when she was with him she felt that no harm could ever come to her. There was no one else in the world besides the two of them. Shifting slightly she tried to carefully stretch her wings without disturbing Drake. They felt stiff after laying in the same postion all night. "Drake..." She said softly, nuzzling his side. "We have to get back to work if we are to become strong enough to face your family."
Her words were soft but her heart knew that this was no easy task for them. She felt slightly nervous thinking about what sort of reception they would recieve when they entered the German camp again. She knew though, that no matter what would happen, no one could seperate her from her beloved and that they would fight for each other up to the end.

Drake(y) had remained silent and still as Allura moved, his eyes shut tight but his ears were still perked, for he had awoken before her. When her wings shifted, he easily lifted his wings to give her more room to stretch out her body and her wings. Grunting slightly as he heard his name pass her lips, in a sort of recognition that he was awake.
Picking his head up slowly, he fluttered his eyes opena nd gently nipped her ear with his serated fangs, his spaded tail flicking slightly. He knew the time for them to rejoin the herd was coming soon and he sighed at that knowledge, and yet, excitement danced through his heart. He had a gift for her!
"Good morning my Queen, how did you sleep?" He asked, picking himself up slowly and flexing muscles that had went stiff. Shaking out his coat, he sighed and stood over her or a few minutes.

Allura felt chills run through her body at the touch, her eyes flickered for a moment with the surge of emotion she felt for her beloved. "I slept well, though I fear we may have slept too long, since my muscles are very stiff with such little movement in the night." Once Drake had gotten up, she had more room so that she could stretch more. With a heave of her muscles she pushed herself up into standing position and did a full body shake to check every part of her body.
"Do you think they wonder where we are?" She asked softly, her eyes resting on his figure and then finally moving to look into his own eyes. "I am sure someone must know that you have been gone for far too long, even if you were just mated..." She said with a coy smile.

Drake(y) alloed the same coy smile to dance alng his lips, leaning close to her again and nipping at the flesh just behind her ear, breathing softly against the flesh with a soft huff. Pulling his lips back, he tilted his head in innocense and smiled whistfully before prancing away from her slightly, still with excitement for her present.
"Most likely it has been recognized, although I did tell my dear friend Pandora I shall be training. She had help me train earlier on in my life, so." Flicking his spaded tail, he sauntered to his armor from before and quickly pulled each metal appendage on. He acted as if he was never stiff, but he knew that even if stiff, he'd have to learn to move gracefully and show no signs of pain or discomfort.
"Come on, work the stiffness out quickly, it is a sign of weakness. Hide it." he muttered, going tinto training mode briefly before a smile soon broke his lips. "And I have a gift for you." He chirped, excited once more as he moved to gently nuzzle their snouts together.

Allura nodded as she listened to his words. She knew that they had no time to spare, and had to get to work instantly. At the mention of showing signs of weakness she narrowed her eyes slightly but a small smile came on her face. "They will probably see me as weak anyway, but we have our own tricks.." She stated as she moved towards the trees once more.
"A gift?" She asked, puzzled as to when he could get a gift if they had been sleeping all night and training the whole day before. Nuzzling him back she smiled, a glimmer of excitement in her eyes. "What is it?" She loved suprises and the fact that he got her something warmed her heart.

Drake(y) gave a deep rumble of laughter at her glare that she gave, his psaded tail flicking as he smiled in her general direction. Boy he had to get her annoyed more often. The scowl she had was the cutest thing she's ever done, and yet made his blood boil in slight excitement to see if she would react violently.
Gently, he nuzzled her back and danced away, wings juttering in excitment as he dashed behind a tree. "Come now darling, you must follow." He teased, moving from his prance into a regular walk, muscles rolling and coat shining.

Allura tilted her head in slight confusion as she watched him walk away, not towards where they had previously stopped their training but in a different direction. She couldn't help but check out his body as he moved though and she was unable to keep herself from smiling and following him. He could say that she must follow him into a pit of doom and still she would follow for her love and trust in him was that strong.
Picking up her pace slightly to catch up with him she came up to his side and once more glanced at him. "So, where do we go now?" She said with barely contained anticipation. She could tell that he was excited for whatever it was, so it only made her mind race with all the many things it could be, though she could not find one thing that she thought would make Drake act the way he was.

Drake(y) smiled as she got up to follow him, hearing her footsteps behind him, as he turned to look at her. Only to realize she was on the other side, where his bad eyes was. Either way, his nostrils flared as he slowed to allow her to catch up, immediately shoving his snout against her neck and huffing quite loudly.
"You will love what I have for you, just close your eyes my Queen." He waited until they were closed, looped his wing around to hold over her eyes, just in case. Pressing his side to hers, he lead her along the bushes.
"Trust me." He whispered, nipping her ear gently

Allura smiled and fluttered her wings slightly at the idea of a suprise she had to close her eyes for. Giggling as he pressed his wings over her face she closed her eyes tightly. She jumped slightly at the nibble not expecting it. "So? What is it?" She asked with a huge smile, her hooves shifting in place to show her excitement.
They hadnt been mated for long but she already felt like her and Drake had been together for ages, and the fact that he was getting her something or even doing anything super special made her heart soar with pleasure.

Drake(y) smiled at he rlittle jump, only to gently n** her again in the same spot, drawing his serated fangs along her skin in a delecate manner. Flaring his nostrils, he reminded himself now was not the time to tease, he had a gift to give.
"You will find out, my love." He whispered, leading her into a small clearing, where just ahead of them was her gift. Armor, similar to his own was sitting daintilly upon a large boulder, awaiting for it's mistress to pull it on.
"It's just ahead of you, love." He purred, nipping at her skin once more, coming to a stop before the boulder and unwrapping his wing from her eyes.

Allura smiled and moved along with him trusting that wherever she was going she would be safe, even if she could not see the path in front of her, she was confident in Drake's movements, and mimicked his own. As soon as he drew his wings away from her face she opened her eyes and before her was some golden armor. Her mouth dropped open, never in a million years had she expected this. The armor was beautiful.
"Oh Drake! When ever did you find the time to get this?" She whispered as she moved towards it, eagerly ready to put it on, though having some difficulty. "Help please?" She said with a small smile, fully knowing that in due time she would have to learn how to put it on and take it off at any given moment with ease and speed. Finally she felt like she could present herself to his family and be accepted. She would look like his little warrior and she knew that in her heart she would do anything for Drake- even if it ment killing another.
