"James," she finished. "It's not rude when you deserved it," Lily replied, smirking back at James. After James told her about breaking his nose. She said "And maybe next time you'll leave Severus and me alone. "

James smiled at her. "Well, I know enough to leave you alone, can't garentee the greaseball over there though." he said, nodding towards Severus. James then smiled at Lily again, "You know, you have beautiful eyes."

Lily was only irritated by the comment about her eyes. James was unbelievably arrogant. Why does he seem to hate Severus so much? she wondered. James didn't even really know Severus. Shortly after James made the comment about her eyes, Lily slapped him across the face. "One," she said, "The only greaseball I see here is you, and two don't you dare try and give me a compliment." Then she slammed the compartment door in James's and Sirius's faces.

James smirked and looked at Sirius in the hallway "You know Sirius, I think she likes me."he grinned, walking into their compartment .

Sirius looked at James and grinned. "I think she does," Sirius agreed. He followed James into their compartment and shut the door behind them. Sirius sat down, pulled another real chocolate frog out of his pocket, opened it up, and ate it. ~ Lily Evans ~
"I don't believe him!" Lily exclaimed after she closed the compartment door. She was glad she finally got rid of James and was back in the peace and quiet of the compartment.

James laughed and flopped down on the seat. "I think this school term is going to be fun." he smirked.

Severus wasn't to happy. "At least you got him good. You punched and slapped him in the face!" he yelled happily. "Those filthy prats! Don't know who they are messing with." he grinned at her.

"Yeah," Sirius agreed. "Playing pranks on the slimeball should keep things interesting." Sirius smirked at James.~ Lily Evans ~
Lily grinned back at Severus. "Well hopefully they've figured out who they're messing with," Lily replied. "And if not, I can always hex them. Lily laughed a little. It was true she could always put a spell on James if he got too annoying, even if she got some points deducted from her house.

James grinned and then looked out the widow. "Its getting dark, we should be arriving soon. Lets change into our robes." he said, getting his trunk and opening it.

Sirius nodded at James. Then he got up and opened his trunk. Sirius took his robes out, closed the trunk, and pulled the robes on. "I can't wait until we get there," Sirius said. He couldn't wait to get to school and get sorted into his house.~ Lily Evans ~
Lily continued smiling and looked out the window. It was getting dark outside and Lily thought that they would be getting to Hogwarts soon. "Well," she said, "It getting dark outside. I'm going to get changed into my robes. I think that we're almost there!" There was some excitement in her voice as she said this. She couldn't wait to get to school.

James nodded as he pulled his robes on. "I am so excited." he grinned jumping up and down. "I really really really hope we are in the same house."

"Me too!" Sirius exclaimed. The school year would be even better if he and James were in the same house. He hoped that if James was sorted into Gryffindor, he would be too.~ Lily Evans ~
"Alright," Lily replied, nodding and smiling at Severus. As Severus left, Lily got her robes out of her trunk and began to pull them on. When she was dressed, Lily fixed her hair again, since it had gotten messed up as she pulled on her robes. After this was done, Lily opened the compartment door. "I'm done, Severus," she said.

"Okay." Severus said, switching place with her. He then started to change into his robes in the compartment.

James heard noises outside their compartment and opened the door to see Lily standing there. "Well hello Lily flower." he grinned. "What are you doing in the hall without your friend?" he asked, rufflining up his hair.

Lily had a strong urge to slap James again when he called her "Lily flower". She rolled her eyes at him and said, "Do I look like a flower to you? No? Well It's because I'm not. Just because my name is Lily doesn't mean I'm a flower. As for what I'm doing here, That's none of your business." She desparately hoped that James would leave her alone, but Lily knew he was a stubborn boy. Actually, not boy, Child. She wondered what his reply would be, hoping that he wouldn't even say anything; that he would just go back into the compartment.
