Skywise was about to explain when he glanced up, grinning.
Bloodhunt stalked into the trees ahead of them, not looking pleased in the least.
Cutter nodded back to them, head high eyes determined. the clear winner of the challange. "Let us see this holt they found."

Caelestra looked between them all and shrugged to herself. Maybe she'd find out what a troll was later.. and besides.. she really wanted to see what a... holt looked like.

They came to what would be a clearing if one large tree hadn't dominated it. Cloth bags were nestled in the nooks of roots. Two moons looked up, and blinked when she saw them approaching. Snow racer dashed over to them, and skidded when he saw ember. "whoa," he said. "She's dark all over!"
"Am not! My hairs red! yours is darker!"
"But your skins all burnt"
"But I'm gonna be chief some day!"
Snow racer snorted.
"Am too, right?" she asked turning to cutter.
"Yes cub, but not too soon, I hope," he said, scooping her back onto his back.
"As hope I," Leetah put in.
"That would be all of us. So who are you, cub?" Skywise asked, eyes glinting mischievously.
"I'm not a cub! I'm Snow Racer of the Go Backs, well, now of the Wolfriders. And who're you."
Skywise grinned. "The Wolfriders."
Snowracer sat down, hard.
Cutter looked around then sighed a bit. "None of you are tree shapers?"
"No," New wolf said.
"Then we'll have to make due. but no more sleeping on the forest floor where anyone can fund us, especially not until we can set up some defenses. In the trees."
"And how do you expect us to climb trees like this?" Blood Hunt sent in a snarl.
"Like this," Skyywise said, leaping into the air, catching a branch and swinging around it, then leaping from it mid swing to a higher one. This time he remembered to account for a larger rear.
New Wolf joined his son sitting.

Caelestra giggled softly. She still thought sleeping IN the trees would be strange but.. who knew.. maybe it would be fine?

He chuckled and nuzzled her.
"does that Elf... have wings?" Snow Racer asked, in an awed whisper.
"She isn't the first we've met," cutter said softly and gravely.
"Ah but shes a sure sight nicer, and a nicer sight for sure," Skywise said, grinning.

*No.. though I doubt that Bloodhunt one CAN get scared. But I'm just a pony... thats all. But I can keep quiet about it.. though eventually they're going to catch on I know nothing of Elf-life...*
