She frowned "I can already bend elements..." Waving her hoof and causing a spark to ignite into flames then putting it out with another wave "And I'm not sure how happy I'd be of outliving my family... even Tihalt..."

Ade puffed with pride at her display. His lifemate was a woman of many wonders. "Can you call the rain, use the lightning to defeat your enemies, Open the earth at the wave of your hoof?" He waved his hoof and a small fissure opened in front of her. "And if you wished it, we would greet the dawn and end our days with the rest of your family." He resisted the urge to lift her over the opening and closed it with another wave of his hoof.

She shook her head, secretly amazed at his talents "My talents lay in the fire element... my brother deals with water.. mainly ice." She frowned "I would hate to make you 'greet the dawn' as you say simply because i don't want to outlive my family... thats unfair to you... what about your own family?"

Ade smiled. "I am blessed with a gift for fire. Those other things are common amongst my people." He frowned, sorrow clouding his green eyes. "I have no family anymore. In truth, this was a last attempt to find my lifemate before I welcomed the dawn."

"Oh.. I'm sorry...." She bit her lip... she was crud at comforting others... which led her to think of.. "Children! Would you expect children? I'd make a lousy mother... I'd be better off being the heir instead of Tihalt and HIM having scores of children... wimp that he is..." She paused by a large castle and bounced on her back hooves a bit.. unsure how to tell him this was her.. house.

She shrugged "I'm not the mothering type... and I haven't agreed yet! I'm just.. asking questions." She glanced between him and the castle "Umm.. this is home. Can I know your name now?"

She smiled "Well then its a pleasure to meet you Ade" Her manners coming out in full force "My name is..."
"Gali!"
".... Galiena. Excuse me.." As she turned to her brother who was standing in the gateway, gaping at the male his sister had with her. "Tihalt... what are you doing out here?"
"Keeping an eye out for you.. Papa told me to. He was worried... you've been gone awhile." He rolled his eyes "Dad was about to send out the guards.."
Gali paled "Ugh he wouldn't! I was perfectly fine...just cooling my head a bit" She glanced at Ade "What was the decision"
Tihalt also glanced at Ade with confused curiosity "Papa's in negotiations with a few lords.. he says they'll have suitable sons for you and you can pick from them... a compromise of sorts..."
She sighed and rubbed her temples "Wonderful..." How was she going to tell her fathers about Ade.. and did she really want to be tied to him in such a way?

Ade instinctively placed his body between Galiena and Tihalt. His body stiffened at the mention of Galiena taking one of those males. He reached out and began lightly rubbing the nape of her neck to soothe her. "Perhaps you should introduce me to your parents. I can see to it that you do not need to worry about this marriage issue any more." His voice held a small twinge of menace. He would see that she didn't marry one of those males. That was for sure.

Tihalt glanced at Ade warily "Gali... did you elope with the first guys you met?"
She glared "NO! Would I do something like that.. don't answer that!" She sighed and smiled at Ade "No threatening my fathers. This is my brother Tihalt, Tihalt this is Ade... my er... well apparently I'm his lifemate."
Tihalts eyes got huge "Lifemate? Like... soul mate? Papa won't be pleased... he wanted a more... noble match for you..."
Gali nodded "I know.. but... thats not going to happen I suppose. He dies if I reject him."
".... Oh...." He frowned and bit his lip "You know... Papa won't care... Dad might be able to calm him though. If you tell him first."
"Yeah.. thats what I was hoping to do.."

Ade nodded curtly in Tihalt's direction, then smiled back down at Galiena. "I had no intentions of threatening them. I can get my way without doing that." His smile bacame a lively, boyish grin with his last statement.

She eyed him suspiciously "Like what? Asking politely?" She didn't trust that grin of his.

Like giving them a compulsion, a mental shove, if you will. They will have no idea where it came from, they won't even know they've received one. Ade was still grinning as he spoke through the mental link of lifemates.

She jumped at the voice in her head and narrowed her eyes "I don't want you to do that.." Unsure of how to respond to him the same way
Tihalt blinked "Do.. what?"
She shook her head "Can you go distract Papa for awhile so I can talk to dad first?"
He nodded "Sure..." And giving one last suspicious look, went back inside.
