"That's unfortunate..." she muttered as she picked her book back up and continued reading, "I wasn't much of a fan of it myself..." she added as she finished another page and flipped, "It grows on you though..." she sighed and sipped some more iced tea.
"If you're going into town you can take one of the elks... they're down the hall through the large wooden doors, but i expect them back." she laughed as she looked back into her book, "Not that you could steal one anyways... they're lovers, and they're jeweled, so they're far more intelligent than any ordinary elk. And don't be shocked if they try to carry out a conversation with you."

"I honestly don't want to start any havoc. I'm going to be honest. I'm more then just a mercenary. I'm part of the Moonlight Organization." Kaiser called out while scrounging for soap and a sponge.
Scrubbing his dishes spotless, he inspected his facial features. Cat-Eyes, pair of black cat ears popping up from his hair, which was shoulder length though tied up into a pony tail, with two bangs framing his face.
"Think we can work something else out? I don't know any local cultural taboos or traditions here so..."
Kaiser rummaged through cabinets to put the dishes away.

 "Moonlight Organization..." she muttered to herself, her voice almost hollow and echoing through her mind. She thought about it for a moment, but shrugged it off her shoulders and continued to the next question asked. "If you're dressed like you should be... People won't even see your ears." she smiled as she aided his search for where the dishes went, "There's only one major city on this side, and it's tucked away between two mountains, where it's protected from the weather." She grabbed the last plate and set it in the wooden cabinet, "If anyone gives you any trouble, you can always use me as an excuse... If they don't drop it... Tell them to come take it up with me... I have plenty of time on my hands."

Kaiser chuckled, taking a step back and disappearing from sight, smell and hearing. He stalked to the other side of Oriana and appeared again. "If I don't want you to see me, then you won't." He said with an almost predatory grin.
"In any case, I was sent to determine the situation here by my superiors. Think of it as an expansion of business." Kaiser said while leaning against the counter. "Of course, who knows what will happen from there."

Oriana glared, slightly irritated from his display, "Well, then you better go assess." she hissed as she left the kitchen with her book and iced tea. Her dog stood up growled at Kaiser before trotting out after his master. Oriana stormed up to her study and slammed the door, then blasted it shut with some ice. She stomped over to her desk and flopped down in her chair, "Of all the nerve," she grumbled as she thought about what he did, "Threatening me in my own damned kingdom." Throwing her book down she flipped it open and read a few pages before settling down and beginning to enjoy herself.

Diplomacy is not my strong suit. This will be entertaining... Kaiser rumbled to himself as he dressed to leave. Entering the Stable he saddled one of the Elk and mounted it awkwardly. He wasn't sure the path to the city nor was he used to riding any sort of animal.
This will be aggravating. he thought to himself as he guided the Elk out the stables, then saying "Okay, you know the way and I don't... so you get to lead."
He tugged his hood down tight when that feminine presence came back.
"Kaiser Kaiser Kaiser... she could've been yours for the taking yet you up and leave? Tch." it called to him. He shuddered not from cold but the chill that went up his spine. "Please, aren't you known to be ruthless and get what you want?"
He mumbled 'No' half-heartedly and let the Elk guide them to the city.

The elk walked him through the light snow and brought him to the trail between the two mountains. he carefully walked through the path, very conscious of each step he took, and when he finally arrived in the town square he bowed his head, "Here you are sir... Where would you like me to wait"(Jeweled animals speak telepathically.)

"Wait here." he told the Elk. He dismounted and headed for the town's edge, keeping the cloak tightly against him to keep from revealing the rather unique Moonlight Assassin uniform.
Keeping his ears open, and a ready hand on releasing a Katar, he walked the streets, listening to its inhabitants.

The City of Yukon was rather large. The entire city was built inside the borders of two large mountains. the streets were made of cobblestone, and some back streets were gravel. the center of the town is marked by a large fountain which is a common meeting spot for conversation. the center of the town is surrounded by shops and small boutiques. The entire town is built in a circular pattern that matches the shape of their borders, and the closer you get to the mountains the more homes you'll find. The mayor's house sits on the side of the mountain, because half of it is built straight out of the mountain. there are multiple other homes like this, but none can match it's size. Back in the center of town by the fountain there isn't much to be heard; a few female's flocked and gossiped as they browsed the shop windows. an auctioneer calling to the crowds from an ally. a few story tellers, preachers, and performers, entertaining the people crowding the square. And a mysterious group of men discussing scientific matters and cluttered into a tavern to discuss it in private. The elk laid down in the square and sighed, "I'll be right here sir..."

Kaiser followed the men into the Tavern and instead made a beeline for the bar. Taking a seat at a stool, he waited to be served before looking up at the Barkeep.
"What's the news, and I'll have something warm to drink, sir." he asked and ordered at the same time. Kaiser did not meet anyone's gaze, intending to leave the only description of him as a cloaked man who rode in on a jeweled Elk. No need to spread who or what he was.

The teleportation was complete. From the skies above Kalas caught herself from falling flat on the ground and landed on her legs anf hand.. Electricity spurted all over her body and eventually slowly dissipated.
It was Kalas' first ever jump into another realm and she did not like the feeling of it. Jumping into other realms were looked down upon her race and she felt like she had created a major sin. It took her a bit to come to and find where she was. She had never seen snow before. It was cold and damp and was beyond anything she had seen before While the temperature was cold for most, it reminded Kalas of her deep underground home.
Kalas observed her surroundings. A city in the distance was before her. From a pouch she pulled out a cloakm put it around herself and put the hood on. While her homeland knew of her kind through legend and rare sightings, she knew that her kind did not exist in this realm and was ready to defend herself from anyone or anything without any restraints.
With another quick look at her surroundings, she headed off towards the city. Thanks to her height traveling through the snow was not very difficult and the fresh prints in front of her made it easy to navigate her way through the mountains and to the outskirts of the town.

The bar man humbly poured him some apple cider with cinnamon schnapps and set it down in front of him, "Well, not too much going on today, sir. Just the Usual day in paradise. Though we haven't seen the mayor or his daughter in a few months now... It's very unlike Guen to stay cooped up in the mansion like that." he shrugged and turned to refill a mug.

Kaiser filed away that tidbit for later, before the Event happened. When someone Teleported, especially from the distances involved, judging on the basis of the energy release, which Kaiser picked up immediately on, it meant someone had Something to Do.
Somethings to Do were usually Important Things to Do. Important Things to Do would involve Kaiser sticking his nose into that Important Thing. After all, it was his job to do so something like that.
However, he couldn't chase after something like that. First, the Mayor's Manor. He finished his drink and left enough for a small tip as well as covering the cost of the drink. Leaving the Tavern, he took two steps and faded away.
Making a beeline straight for the Mayor's House, he would investigate the scenario. Oriana might pay him for finding out things like that.
Shifting into his Tiger form, he took to the walls as a form of transportation, using them as a springboard, avoiding the crowds below.

Two guards paced outside the iron gates of the Mansion. Inside were large pillar like shrubs on either side of a cobblestone walkway. There were large sculptures of Guen throughout the property of the manor, surrounded by beautiful gardens. It was almost a miracle that anything could grow in this weather, but some plants were native to the land, and others were scientifically created to endure the weather and make due with what nutrient, and sunlight they got. Inside the manor was a twin staircase leading to the Main living area, and off to the right was the kitchen. Straight ahead was an entertainment room, where the mayor would hold meetings. they had many painted portraits of landscapes in Arynia, and the town of Yukon. In the mayor's private study hung a beautiful painting of his daughter who was undressing in front of a mirror, which hung on the wall just opposite of his desk. His study was lined with books, maps, and charts of the realm. A majority of the books were actually science books, however there was a small section of books strictly on the history of the town, and logs of previous mayors. (The end... That's all i could come up with as of right now... XP)
