Renesmee ran back outside to her parents. She looked curiously at her mother for a moment, the look was getting more familiar. Her mommy was trying so hard with her shield. "Silly mommy, trying so hard for daddy." She smiled at them both. Renesmee knew that her mother often loved the fact that her dad couldn't hear her thoughts.

Edward looked down at Renesmee, his beautiful daughter. He still couldn't really believe she even exisisted, it was so strange that somehow he was able to get Bella pregnant. And he still couldn't believe that at one time edward despised her, for basically kiling Bella, but once he was somehow miraciously able to read Renesemee's thoughts while she was still in the womb he began to understand that it wasn't Renesmee's fault for what was happening.
Edward smiled down at Renesmee, taking his hand away from Bella's chin, smiled at her lovingly, and then bent down and scooped up Renesmee in his arms. "Be nice to mommy." he chuckled, winking at Bella.

Renesmee hugged her father. Even though his skin was extremely cold, compared to hers, she felt no need to shiver. It was like balancing the two out. "I am daddy. I was just teasing. You know, like Jacob does." She explained. Renesmee hadn't seen Jacob for awhile, and she was starting to wonder where he could be.
