Rake smiled towards her but as she mentioned his leg he tilted the head backwards and laughed a short ha. "I do believe the big bad CP9 is coming onto me. Now I wonder what our...bosses would say if they knew and frankly I don't give a damn. I left that with the left foot. I been told I think with my feet so maybe it's true!" He had begun to fight what seemed to be his new nakama over the leg but with Cindy it didn't feel as bad. After all he had taken the cut himself and had no one else to blame.

Cindy removed from her pocket a carton of cigarettes and place one in her mouth and began to smoke away. "Well, I wouldn't call it coming onto you, I'd say it's more the fact that I have no reason to quarell with you right now. You don't seem to want to attack me, so I'm not gonna bother. No Government supervision here anyway." Cindy then took another cigarette from the carton and threw it to Rake, remembering that he too smoked.

Rake grabbed the ciggarete and twirled it as he moved it to his mouth. He placed his left hand over his right hand, as to cover a lighter. Then Rake turned his finger into fire and allowed it to light the ciggarete. "And neither do I have an .. apron. So do you know who or what attacked you just now?" Rake asked as he looked to the sky with a smile. Ryoga seem still to be active and keeping his actions from the shadows. That was indeed a true swordsman and a worthy opponent.

Cindy looked at him and quirked her eyebrow up just a smidge saying "Probably a zombie, nothing to worry about if he runs off that quick." Cindy took a large drag off of her cigarette. She loved the nicotine, it made her mind so much clearer.

"A very strong samurai with a powerful shadow. A zombie indeed and I doubt he'll scratch the skin of yours." Rake now moved two fingers on his right arm forward to follow the lefty cheek of Cindy. The cigarette was balancing between the lips as he spoke. He took a drag and blew the smoke out upwards, towards the sky.

When Cindy dropped the cigarette to the ground, Rake took a step forward. He didn't knwo what was capturing him with this officer of his mortal enemy. A woman he should not be happy to see. Yet with this bloody woman he was indeed quite happy to be around. Anyhow as he stepped forward he went for a fast single kiss towards her lips before he would turn and walk away.

Cindy was caught off guard by the kiss, at first she was shocked. She was ready to do a full body explosion on this man but then at the last second all she thought to herself was "There is nobody around" and instead of rejecting it instead embraced it. When Rake broke off the kiss and began to walk away she smiled lightly watching him. This would be hard for to explain to herself...

Rake had his back on fire as a burning hart, a bit cheesy but why the hell not. This would indeed b troublesome in the future but as long as it was now. It was fine to be truthfully to them selves. "You know how to find me, when you want to! And then if you want me to badly, then all you need to is wrestle me down" Rake didn't know what he had left behind him with that left leg but nothing that wasn't worth losing for this. Rake was a pirate and he did as he wanted to. Cindy was him as she was her own, but no one else would ever have him like he did. He knew that and he knew that the only bad thing that would come would be if the rest of the Forte Pirates got the upper hand in a fight towards Cindy. Yet knowing them, that wouldn't happen. He knew both Cindy as he crew members. He wouldn't have to worry at all.

Cindy watched Rake walk away, his back on fire and the only thing she could think to herself was ”How corny.... Cindy was confused, more so then she had ever been before. She had to rationalize all of this out in her head, that was it...she sat down on the floor staring off into the space thinking “I can't possibly like him like that, I am a trained Government weapon, I'm not supposed to feel that way, it was hormones...yes, just hormones and nothing more the that... Cindy finally concluded to herself.
Prelude Au Fer 1/5
While she was thinking though she heard the clicking of what sounded like wood on stone. She looked up only to see the zombie that had attacked her earlier standing before her. She narrowed her eyes at him only saying “What do you want?” The zombie looked at her, at least she figured that he did, she couldn't quite tell as he had no visible eyes. “I want nothing more then to teach you, after that display of love and affection you have warmed my cold dead heart! Yohohohohohohoho!”

Cindy sat up and flattened out her skirt as she did so saying “What could you possibly teach me? I am a weapon built into what I am today by the force of the strongest Government this world as ever seen.” The dead samurai simply narrowed his eye sockets at her saying “You underestimate me greatly my dear. Now if you would simply draw out your weapon.” Cindy rolled her eyes at the zombie, he must have also been brain dead because this was a total waste of both parties time.

Cindy began to remove her blade but as she did so she found that the zombie was at her in practically an instant with his own blade out. They had now locked blades and it was a power struggle. Cindy looked at him and was surprised by the massive amount of strength that he had for someone whom had been dead for only lord knows how long. She stared at him saying with a tone of struggle in her voice. “ What...are you doing?” The Zombie chuckled one of his “Yohohohohohoh's” in response to this.

Finally he said “Teaching.” and with that Cindy felt the balde leave her hands and flind into the ground. “That is a technique known as Prelude Au Fer, it is a disarming technique designed to catch your opponent off guard and to get the weapon out.” Cindy smiled and then said “Thanks, I'll remember that.” With that she put her sword away and said “Thank you for everything, I'll be sure to come back if I ever need anymore education in fencing swords.” With that said she left to a destination unknown to even her.

Rake got into his boat and left the area. There wasn't much else to do but enjoy the Grand Line on his own. He was a very free spirit yet he would always be able to be placed under command of his captain. He had no dreams then becomeing a great swordsman known by all and a legend when he was dead.
