Takehiko Naoki arrived once again on the island named Commi, he wasn't here to train techniques from the locals, but he had decided to train his own techniques against the mermen. From Naoki's travels across the blues, he had found that to have your own style was a great thing to have to use. Naoki had already taken a few styles from all across the blues which he would definatly use, but he lacked his own. Naoki had once read in a martial arts book about a style named Aikido, the way of harmonius life, a style in which you redirect the opponents attack, it sounded a suitable style for someone of Naoki's caliber who didn't enjoy hurting people.

1/6 - Aikido.

Naoki made his way towards Arlong Park ruins, the usual group of mermen were stationed there, but Arlong and the usual bunch were no where to be found which suited Naoki just fine. He walked through the gates, making his being there well known "Good morning fish-faces!" Naoki shouted out, he did feel bad about calling them that, but on the other hand, they were actually men with fish faces. They all rose from their rocks with fury in their eyes, Naoki got into the position shown in the books to intercept the inevitable attacks, and so began the rush.

Aikido is a style performed by blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on. It requires very little physical energy which suited Naoki perfectly fine. He soon found himself face to face with the first mermen, a particularly ugly fellow who served out a quick left jab. Naoki moved to his right side and caught hold of the jab, his hand not gripping tightly as to make the mermen defend himself, but just a grab Naoki then pushed him down to the floor and kicked him, the last bit seemed a bit unlike what one would expect in an aikido user, but Noaki didn't really know what to do.

It didn't feel right kicking the mermen after pushing him down to the floor, Naoki had decided not to attack properly like that when using Aikido was that was the way it was meant to be, but before he could dwell on it any longer, Naoki found himself in the hands of two more mermen. One of which had appeared behind Naoki and taken hold of him with some sort of reverse bear hug whilst the other came swinging down some sort of twisted karate chop. Dealing with the reverse bear hug was to be Naoki's first priority, he took hold of the mermen's left arm and slipped under it, still maintaining his grasp he knocked the mermen's balance and pushed him into the other mermen who crashed his karate chop into his comrade.

Naoki had heard much about the mermen's idea of brotherhood, if they were real comrades then they wouldn't attack each other. From the moment the mermen lifted his hand out of the other mermen's head, it was obviously apparent that it was true. He cried out in agony, as though he had been the one who was hit, Naoki was taken aback as he saw the ever so familiar look of a berserk mermen. Naoki hopped backwards as he saw the mermen swipe out in front of him with all of his might whilst avoiding attacks from axes and swords from other mermen, obviously offended by what Naoki had caused them to do, Naoki knew that he wouldn't throw anymore of their comrades into their own attacks, it only made it worse for him.

It wasn't long until Naoki was over run by mermen on all sides; axes, swords and fists were flying around everywhere. Naoki was suprised that these mermen could tell each other apart from Naoki was he was suprised no more of their comrades were injured by their own attacks. He couldn't keep up with them all, flipping and throwing the mermen out of the crowd as quickly as he could he found it increasingly difficult to attack them without being injured himself. There was only so many joint locks and throws he could perform in a set amount of time, Naoki didn't realise how difficult training like this was.

After all of her swimming Nessa finally hit land. She was breathing rather heavily and was glad to finally be on nice solid dirty land. She pulled herself out of the water and the first thing she did was look at her own reflection in the water. It was clear that her face was incredibly messed up but she was quite lucky that it didn't fracture her skull. Though as she checked herself out in the reflection of the water a shadow all of a sudden came over her. “Huh...that's awfully odd, it's too early for sunset...”

Nessa turned around and what she saw shocked her. A fish man was staring directly at her and he actually spoke too! Which was apparent to Nessa when the creature spoke saying “Just what do you think you're doing here...?” Nessa gulped and then said “We-well sir...you see, this man horribly beat me up and sent me flying into the ocean. I was lost and would've died if it wasn't for the fact that I found this island instead! Isn't that just really great luck on my part, see! Look at my face and how bad it is right now!”

Nessa was now rambling like she did whenever she panicked, it was almost like a defense mechanism, a very useless defense mechanism. It was then that the Merman yelled out “SHUT UP!” and with that Nessa sealed her lips closed not wishing to anger the fish person anymore then she already had with her ramblings. “On your feet pathetic puman.” Nessa gulped lightly and despite her gut feeling she stood up anyway. The man looked her over and then said “You disgust me.”

He then continued to speak. “You dare to come to Arlong Park without any rhyme or reason other then the fact that you are in...pain? Disgusting, you are lucky that I don't kill you right now.” With that said Nessa sighed a breath of relief. “Though I will teach you what true pain is!” and with that he brought back his fist yelling out “One Hundred Brick Fist!” and with that he brought forward his fist and slammed it into Nessa's stomach causing her to cough up quite a bit of blood as she went flying back into the ocean.

"The Razor Claws attack....I want to learn that...."Kane uttered and crossed his arms, careful not to cut himself with the claws he had on. Kuro raised a brow, "Ah.....I see.....Well, alright then.....I'll teach you what you need to know....."Kuro nodded and walked off. He returned thirty minuites later with a training dummy. He stood it straight up, "Now then....For this technique to work, you must know how to use the Stealth Walk, which you have proved just now...."Kuro stepped back away from the dummy. Kane watched him closely, nodding every now and then. "Now, you must use Stealth Walk to launch yourself into the air, then come down and attack at the target...."Kuro suddenly dissapeared and reappeared in the air. He dove down and attacked the dummy, stricking it in the head with his fist. "You see?"Kuro said as he landed on his feet. Kane nodded slightly and stared at the dummy, this was going to be hard....

Razor Claws Attack: 1/5

Kane looked up into the air, then back at the dummy. He stepped to where Kuro was last standing before he attacked. He had never done Stealth Walk into the air, he wondered how hard this would be. Hitting the target however was his main worry. He was never really accurate with his strikes, seeing how he was more focused on speed then anything. He saw himself missing several times before he actually hit his target, or at least grazed him. He sighed heavily, crouching down while staring at the target.

Kane, after ten minuites of sheer thought, stood up and nodded. "Alright....Just Stealth Walk into the air, then pounce on the target and attack...."Kane muttered silently. He took a deep breath and prepared himself. He suddenly vanished, having used Stealth Walk and appeared in the air. Kuro shook his head, he already knew he was going to miss. Kane dove toward the target, and landed four feet from infront of it. Kane growled, for this to work he needed to land next to it or attack while passing it. He shook his head and grumbled. This attack was going to be harder then he thought.

Kane stepped back to where he was last. He looked back into the sky, then back at the dummy. He was thinking of how to move, where to land and how to hit. It was all so complicating. He sighed and shook his head, doubting and thinking was making it to complicated. "Alright....."He said nodding. He took a deep breath then vanished, having used Stealth Walk again. He reappeared in the air, then dove at the target. He moved past it and missed, landing behind the training dummy. He cursed silently, glancing at Kuro whom was shaking his head. He growled, then walked back.

Kane stepped back in his original place and looked back at the training dummy. He was thinking of it mocking him just sitting there. It wasn't moving, wasn't attacking, wasn't talking; so why was it so hard? He grumbled, his mind was clouded with thoughts of anger and frustration. He stared at it long and hard, trying to clear his mind. Maybe if he was focused on that dummy alone, then maybe, even with his accuracy, he would hit. He took a deep breath and took a moment to clear his mind. After, he opened his eyes then suddenly vanished. He reappeared in the air and dove down at the target. He struck it, hitting it's head as he passed by it and landed on the ground behind it in a crouched position. Kane grinned, he had done it. Kuro clapped, "Very good...."Kuro said quietly. "You have learned the Razor Claws Attack technique...."Kuro said nodding. Kane stood straight up and nodded.

After leaving the Baratie Rocks found himself among other merman. The place seemed to be full of them. He was happy to be with others of his kind, though he didn't see any possible mates at all. He saw a group of tough looking merman firing water at the speed of a bullet. eager to try it out, Rocks quickly spit water out himself. Though a merman, he had never done anything like this at all. the water fell to the ground, like he had just spit. he had been around humans so much the most he knew how to do was spit.

Water Gun 1/3

Rocks had to stop thinking like a human and start thinking like a merman. It wasn't spitting, it was attacking now. Hiruma focused on the water in his system. It would be easy now, he was a merman after all. he faced a nearby metal post and shot. Water the size of a bullet flew from his mouth at amazing speed and pretty good accuracy. It just barely hit the pol but you could hear a clanging sound as it hit. The merman that were laughing now clapped for him. He learned fairly quickly.

Water Gun 3/3

Rocks steadied himself. The first time it was easy, but now he had a farther target and more shots. The main proble mwould be aiming quickly again after one shot. He would have to stay completely still throughout. He focused completely on the task at hand. Merman around began to look at him. He stared at the inside of the letter for what seemed like ages before he fired about ten times in a row. The whole thing took a little over a second. He squinted to see how well he did.

Water Cannon 2/5

"Though it was good, that was just practice for your next technique." the merman went on. "You had to get used to using it quickly so I could teach you an advanced version of it. What you're going to do now is shoot off a large bullet, basically a cannonball of water, it's not too much harder. You'll just need more power behind it, and focus. With that said, just collect more water before you fire, and it will be automatic to you. I just want you to do one though, just focus on one." he explained.

Water Cannon 4/5

Rocks noticed that the ball maintained it's form until it hit the object. That was his main goal. There was enough power behind it to make the pole slightly wobble for a while after he hit it. He had learned how to do a lot in just a little bit of time. But he was a little fatigued from it. "Good job...uhhh.." he said, waiting for a name. Rocks replied a little out of breath. "Rocks." "I'm Chuu." the big lipped merman replied. He noticed that Rocks was a little tired after all of the training.
