Yuri saw Nyrk walking, and smelt the blood from Nryk's recent wounds. "Hey...Hey wait up, would ya?" Yuri shouted, running out to Nyrk, "Are you ok?" Yuri watched Nyrk, concern in his eyes

"Yeah, I'm alright now. I had the night yesterday to recover. Vampires in New York... I was right. They're nothing like the vampires in the South. They have... strange abilities. I was just out here searching for humans to assist me. When I didn't find any, I got a new plan." Nyrk tensed up before he gave away his plan. Should Yuri really know about this? ...Well, it isn't as if... No, he couldn't be one. Didn't I see his teeth? I never saw any fangs. 'Sides, I was just about to find a vampire to tell my plan to, what harm would it do to tell Yuri, too? "Last night, I had tried going it alone, but like I said, vampires here are especially matured. I'll be damned if less than half of them are purebloods. So I needed to modify my approach. Going it alone again is definitely only going to end in my having to retreat, or worse. So, I've developed a plan. ...If you're interested, I could tell you, but I'm not sure if someone else would be able to help."

Yuri tilted his head slightly, a small smirk showing, "Really...? Well, You have my assistance..." Yuri smiled, his smirk quickly disappearing. "I would love to hear of this plan..."

The stranger who had pasted by had been another vampire most likely looking for a meal. Darzel didn't bother the stranger as he wandered away from the alley, mostly because he wasn't hungry, but also because of other reasons.
After Darzel had made sure the stranger had left he floated along the wall of the building next to him so he could get a view of the horizon; because it was getting late it the day and he wanted a high perch from where he could enjoy the twilight.

Nyrk closed his eyes for a moment to recall the narrative. "New York is basically owned by vampires. With nowhere else to fight, the human side of vampires has been tapped again, making them begin infighting. So they are basically doing my job for me, but getting more battle-hardened themselves. So I plan to join them. No. I outright refuse to be turned into one of them. What I do plan to do, however, is offer myself to them as a mercenary.
"I'd, of course, appeal my humanity by saying that the abilities I have won't work with me as a vampire. I'm an exorcist, you see, and I rather need my God by my side. Hopefully, the first clan I apply to will accept me, because if they don't and decide to attack me instead, it'll be me against however many of them there are.
"If I'm accepted, however, I'll have the backing and information of an entire clan. They'd surely give me some sort of intelligence about each of my targets, making the killing of the vampires in New York that much easier. They would, naturally, send me after the clan's weak points, no?"

Yuri nodded, "Very intelligent...Though, It might bode better for you, if a Vampire were to take your place..." He grinned, showing his fangs. "Of course, this is, if you don't mind..." He remained where he was, hoping Nyrk would trust him.

Nyrk looked at Yuri as if he had forgotten who Yuri was. Not angrily, just startled. His mild expression was a vast understatement of his actual surprise. "Well, you were trustworthy enough not to have bitten me on the ride here. Even after I revealed to you my profession. And you were trusting enough not to have been fazed by the fact I was a hunter... this is really all too convenient. I mean, I was about to go looking for a vampire in the first place, as well." Nyrk's expression hadn't changed, but he still added, "This is a great idea. I'll trust you. Have you familiarized yourself with any clans here, perchance?"
Nyrk, remaining polite, made no inch towards his weapons. He propped the brim of his hat up with his left index finger, though, as if to keep a better eye on Yuri, but nothing more.

Yuri smiled, "Of Course I'm trustworthy...I have no desire to be grouped with this new...breed of Vampires..." He turned away, "And while, I may not enjoy the company of hunters...I have no quarrel with them...My own kind, however...That's a different story."

Staring at the horizon and enjoying the twilight, Darzel still couldn't help overing the conversation coming out of a rain drainage pipeoff to his left.
'Truely the world has gone mad when a hunter and vampire must join forces.' Thought Darzel.
Darzel then began to think about his own predicament. Other than yesterday night his hunting had been getting harder and harder due to the over population of vampires in this city. Worse yet Darzel had no wish to leave the place he called home despite how foul it had become. Though feeding on rodents and dogs did make him almost as sick as not feeding at all.
'Maybe I should look into this teamwork thing.' thought Darzel, before he began laughing "Truely I have gone mad when I even consider working with people instead of the animals I trust."

Hakuya walked around aimlessly. She didn't feel like doing much of anything. She walked down an alley and saw a cat. They stared at each other for a quick moment and the cat just walked away to a box off to the side of the alley. Hakuya just kept walking forward and hung a left at the end of the alley.

Darzel left the roof and went down to his alley and shifted back into solid form. He continued debating his problem instead of looking for blood since he had managed to feed so well yesterday.
'I will eventually have to hunt other vampires or leave the city if I wish to live. Unless I can find a way to get a hold of enough humans to feed on without killing them or turning them into vampires, which is highly unlikely.'
Darzel sighed.
'The worst part is, is that by hunting vampires I have just as much chance of being killed as killing. Plus eventually even if I win a conflict such as that I will still have to move away because I will have feasted on all the vampires.'
Darzel sat down against the wall next to his box, and looked up into the darkening sky.
'I have three options. I can leave this place, I can team up with others slaughtering others and leaves years from now, or I can come up with something that will allow me to stay and not go hungry. Though I will most likely still have to group up with someone else to implement any idea I could even think of.'
Darzel put his face in his hands as he thought about how much he hated the company of other people. It wasn't the people themselves that irritated him so much as the fact that almost all of them were stupid, or thought themselves so smart that they were unbearably ignorant. In the end Darzel knew that he would be stupid not to leave or team up, and that, he could not bear.

(Guys...I'm asking this, because it's been bothering me...WHAT are you doing? Hakuya...are you going to join the RP, or just appear and expect us to go out of our way to pull you in? If so...I wouldn't wait around too long...Sorry, but it would be out of character...And Krell, I'm waiting on you too join...)

Darzel stood up and walked out of the alley hoping the two people he had overheard were still talking. He figured if he was going to join up with someone, it may as well be with people who already had an open mind about such things. He quickened his pace not wanting to lose his chance by getting there after they had left.

Nyrk heard the patter of footsteps, and the hand that kept his hat propped up immediately darted towards his weapon as he spun around to meet the approaching figure. The tip of his finger met the handle of his holstered weapon when his arm began to hurt intensely, instigated from the sudden stress and reminding Nyrk of the injuries he still bore. It was another humanoid. Human? Yeah, like there's any more humans in New York. Must be another vampire. Hell! He didn't hear what we were saying, did he? If I wasn't injured... Nyrk was alert, and his left arm was now creeping toward his sidearm, but not quite gripping the handle.
The approaching figure kept its pace, but didn't seem to be charging him. Nyrk let his arm limp, and tried to keep a neutral face. He wasn't sure he was liking where this scenario was going. On his side or not, Nyrk found himself in the company of two of the very members of beings he swore to exorcise. He knew he couldn't exorcise Yuri now. That would be disrespectful. He also knew he wouldn't be able to exorcise either Yuri or the newcomer, even were he not injured. The vampires here were too powerful, and Nyrk hadn't enough experience against this northern breed.
He let the figure approach, not trying to come off as too aggressive or too passive. Hopefully his weapons would prevent assumption of the latter, but his wounds wouldn't dismiss the possibility of the former.
