Ainia stopped her running and dodging when the alarm went up. She stuck close to the others as they searched for the intruder. Upon seeing Corann, the foxen yipped happily and pounced on the larger tigon.
The light foxen was all over her friend, in a strange form of hugging as she also tried to help warm up his obviously cold-susceptible body. "Corann! How are you? I haven't seen you in awhile... have you met Slush? How did you find us?"
At the approach of their fearless leader, Ainia looked stopped her excited chattering and moving. Resting on Corann's back, her tail drooped over his shoulder, the foxen smiled. "Mikel, can Corann join us on the hunt?"

"The more the merrier," Mikel smiled, trying desperately to get the group away from the tree as quick as possible. He didn't know how long it would take the deadly gas to spread.

Maybe it was a good thing that Ainia didn't have a most spectacular sense of smell. Of course, her nose was buried in Corann's fur at the moment. "Yay!" The foxen tapped the tigon with he fluffy tail. "Did you hear that, you can join us!"
Slush decided it was her turn to make introductions. Silently and as slow as ever, she moved along to rest on Corann's nose. "Phiiiiir!"

Mikel looked over the horizon and decided to start walking. Hoping that everone was following, he walked a great distance until he found a rather low hill in the middle of a snowy meadow surrounded by trees.
"Now, who would like to scout around looking for some tasty animals?"

Hunting Party ProcedureThere will be animals chosen that have so many hit points. The Scout(s) will roll a number and times it by 50 and base what animal they find on that number. The scout will then make one post "discovering" the animal so they know what animal they found. They will then chose a random number between 1 and 150 which will be the attack for the NEXT person to attack. Based on the number chosen for the next poster, that is how many hit points are taken from the animal and can be RPed however you choose. Supers will double the number chosen by the person that posted before them. If the animal is dead in the last attack, a scout may chose another animal to start again, or someone can attack a dead corpse, but keep in mind the foxen will be eating their kills. Enjoy

Corann could see a sudden pause in Ainia's behavior and soon he noticed the small foxen running in his direction. With somewhat wide eyes and a not so serious expression, the male laughed lightly when she pounced him. Her fur felt surprisingly warm in this place she called home and he assumed it was part of being a foxen. They would have to have ways to remain warm in this horrid temperature. With Ainia near him, however, he could not feel so much of the cold. Or at least, he chose to ignore it.
When the small foxen began to speak, asking quest upon question, the tigon only chuckled again. It was a strange site to see the male so jovial in the presense of anyone. These special expressions of his were saved only for the femme foxen, it seemed. "I am doing well and no, I have not met 'Slush'. I can't say I even know what Slush is.." Looking about, he spotted a small snail and cocked a brow, "It seems you chose a fantastic companion for you. Does the creature have any trouble keeping up with your crazy antics?" He laughed a bit more, imagining the poor snail holding onto a wiggly Ainia for dear life, "Finding you was not quite as difficult as I would have imagined.."
The mention of a possible hunt had the male licking his lips and looking towards their leader with interest. Corann had yet to speak to any leader and was impressed that the large foxen had not taken his intrusion personally. As he began to think of what types of delicious animals the group would hunt, he felt something incredibly sticky climbing onto him. When he went to get a better look, he noticed it was making it's way onto his nose. Narrowed eyed seemed only slightly amused.

Ainia was always a little more cheerful when Corann was around. She liked her current position on the tigon's back, it was soft... much better than the ground! "Eh... Slush just tends to.... stick... she's great at that! I hardly have to worry, she's always there." Speaking of which... where did that little snail go? "Erm, Slush?"
Peeking around, she caught sight of the bright creature, and scowled at it, "That is so rude! Slush, you apologize right now and come back!"
The snail couldn't say anything, and she was too small to have an expression visible... but when she piped out a "Rrrrrkp!" is sounded like a snail's sorry. After, the little thing slowly made her way back to Ainia, who had the look of a disgruntled pecking hen on her face.

(( on my way to the house to do chores, will hopefully make a reply for mikel... The scouts make the decision as to what the animal is by using their own creativeness knowing how many hit points the animal will have))

Tasaaki blinked when she saw Ainia rush off in a hurry, and turned. "Corann?" she questioned, blinking in surprise. She hadn't really expected to see the tigon, and beckoned to her brother. "Keep watch, Hisoka. I'm going to go speak with Corann." With those words, she walked toward the tigon more leisurely than Ainia had, but that was because she wanted to give the two some space. She knew Corann liked Ainia quite a bit. "Ainia, don't rush off like that! You'll worry the Clan," Tasaaki scolded gently as she approached. "Welcome, Corann. How are you?" She then noticed Mikel, and blinked. "Leader Mikel!" she said, a bit surprised. "I hadn't expected to see you here."
Reiko followed after Tasaaki, blinking up at the huge tigon. "Friend of yours, Tas?" he questioned, looking over to his companion.
Hisoka watched with passive eyes as his older sister walked over to meet Corann. He wasn't especially fond of the tigon, but heck, he dealt with it since his sister was fond of him. He could tell Tas thought of Corann as a very good friend. He often worried that she couldn't blend in with their surroundings as well as the others, as she was the only foxen that was dark-furred; darker even than Mikel, their leader. Well, he had duties to do. He stood alert, ears twiching back and forth with Tsuzuki chittering on his back.

Corann was more comfortable with the foxen near than he would admit, but at the moment a proud grin rested on his maw. Peering up to the light colored femme, he offered a friendly nod until he noticed a frustrated expression on her face. She seemed to be staring the poor snail down and demanding it return to her. Laughing lightly, he spoke somewhat reluctantly, "Aww Ainia, the poor snail was not bothering anybody..." As slimey as the snail might have been, it truly was not incredibly bothersome.
As he awaited a response from Ainia, he noticed a dark colored foxen approaching. Though the two had never spoken of it, Corann considered her a friend of his and would treat her with the same respect he treated Ainia. Lowering her head, but being careful of Ainia, the large tigon smirked and returned speech, "Greetings Tasaaki. It is a pleasure to see you," And looking down, the tigon noticed a small companion. It was nice to see that Tasaaki had more company than her obnoxious brother.
After the meeting of their small group, the tigon looked out towards Mikel and grinned, "Are we planning to go on a hunt, or must we wait for his word? The mere sound of hunting as a group has me salivating...."

Mikel noticed no one wanted to volunteer to scout. He led out a large belch to clear his tummy from grumbling while he searched and boltes into the trees. Hearing a roar, he turned to his left and stopped moving. That's when he saw it...

(4x50=200) Glaring at his tummy, he realized the roar must have been him since all he found was a fat rabbit, munching on what was left of the leaves of a tree long since gone to sleep. Growling, he chases the rabbit to the chattering crowd.
((Any scout can do the two post process of finding animals and seeing how many hit points it has. Anyone can scout if they want.. would like to have scouts just scouting during the hunt to get more people posting rather than justa scout or two killing everyone. My roll is for the next person who "attacks"))
