Alaric blushed as he was assaulted by questions, "No I do not write, I just love to read, it was not hard to get this book when I got it a few years ago, but now all you can find are reprints, and I just have a soft voice." He put the book away when he saw that the teacher was about to dismiss class.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you..
Karissa nodded as he answered her questions. Then she decided to talk about herself, "I write, but again it takes me forever to write my stories. Or someone else finishes them wrong. It is very upsetting. I try to read, but as I said that doesn't work well either. I love to play music though! That works well for me. When I am awake." Then she noticed his cheeks, "Do you blush often? Did I embarrass you? Am I upsetting you? I tend to upset people. OH! Your eyes are very pretty! Are they dominantly brown, or green?" When Karissa finished she was out of breath.
Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

Alaric smiled weakly, "I get embarrassed when I am the center of attention of anyone, it's not your fault, and I've been told that my eyes have been mainly brown, green, or gold.I've only ever seen them brown though." He glanced at the teacher, then the door, wondering why she was taking so long to wrap up the lesson, or maybe his timing was off.

Hell is truth...

Nausicaa noticed she was being ignored, and shrugged it off. Her eyes were then drawn to the new arrival. She didn't recognize him, so apparently, he was a transfer or something. The teacher seemed to be dutifully ignoring him, for no apparent reason, so she spoke up herself. "Yep. You'll notice there aren't enough seats. I suggest finding a spare chair and pulling it up somewhere." The teacher turned to glare at the girl, and Nausicaa glared back. It's pretty hard to be bad at glaring when you're wearing about three inches of eyeliner all around your eyes, so the teacher quietly turned back around and Nausicaa waved the new kid over to her with a hand. The poor kid had no where else to sit, and fortunately, as long as she wasn't feeling too depressed, she was pretty nice.

Kai was infinitely grateful for the speaker. Really, standing there awkwardly for ten minutes would have been, well, awkward. He spotted the person who delivered him from a potentially very uncomfortable situation, and was slightly surprised. She was very interesting looking, very intriguing. He pegged her to be a right-brained person and expressive. But, in the end, she spoke the truth. There were plastic chairs with metal legs stacked high in a corner of the room, so without a word, he scampered over to retrieve one and then approached the girl who beckoned him. Should he introduce himself? Ask her name? Thank her? 'Maybe you should just sit down first and take the attention off of yourself.' Kai, with a smile, set the chair down so he was at the corner of the unique girl's desk, and after a few more seconds, the other students took their eyes off him.

"Thanks," he said in a hushed voice. Not quite a whisper, but not loud enough for others to hear easily. Not unless they really wanted to. "I was worried I had walked in on the wrong class. Man, tha'd've been embarrassing. Oh, I'm Kai, by the way. I transferred from History C." He wasn't sure whether to hold his hand out to her to shake or whether it would be ignored. He decided against it, finger-combing his hair back into a low ponytail before securing it with a rubber band he had on his wrist.

((sorry i haven't been posting, and I'm the one who made this rp D: I've been busy.))

Iris had fallen asleep. She was sitting on the floor and her head was in her lap. At least she wasn't snoring. The class was so boring that she couldn't deal with it any more, so she had put her head down on her notebook and stared at the chair legs.

"No problem." Nausicaa nodded. "Yeah, this class is pretty packed. I don't know why, but apparently in most of these classes, the teachers play some sort of musical chairs' game. I think it's to keep kids from coming in late. I'm Nausicaa." She looked over the kid and continued to ignore what the teacher was talking about. Ginger hair which reminded her of her cat back at home, and it was long enough to put in a ponytail, which he was doing now. Good that there was one person who didn't think it made him look like a hippie. She liked guys with long hair. It proved they knew what their style was and that they liked it.

Kai chuckled into his hand at the musical chairs comment. "Yeah, that's probably true," he commented. Nausicaa. That was an unusual name. Not unusual in a bad way — after all, Kai wasn't he most common name, either — but unique. Yeah, that was the word: Unique. Just like her clothing style. Well, at least she was consistent. "I guess I shouldn't be late again, then. I was only late this time 'cause I couldn't find my wallet. I prolly left it at home or somethin'." He gave a self-deprecating smile, somewhat ashamed of his tardiness. At least he hadn't been written up. Apparently the teacher expected it.

Hmm. He then took the time to look around the classroom. There were two people chatting close by, one girl on the floor, and the others appeared less than interested at what the teacher had to say. Apparently this teacher didn't have a very firm hand. Ah well. He had a history book that he could read to make sure he didn't miss anything, so it wasn't too big a deal that he wasn't paying a lot of attention right then. Besides, studying his book gave him a reason to hide in his room when he got home.

I guess my timing is off. Though as he reached for his book, the teacher dismissed the class, so he gathered his things, gave a small wave to Karissa, and walked out the door, Disappearing, into the sea of students.

Edit: ((Sorry, maybe I should have waited for the thread creator to do that... I hope I didn't just break a rule redface ))

Nausicaa nodded. "Or you could have left it somewhere in the school and have been robbed. I know a few things of mine have mysteriously disappeared of late." She didn't mention that the few things that had disappeared had mostly been things she had probably lost. Some of them, though, had been valuable, and she was one for making a story like that sound more interesting. Personality one did, anyway. She hadn't ever ended up naming her personalities because, honestly, she was still Nausicaa, no matter how she acted. Besides, she could tell which personality she was in by the color of her eyes. Right now, they were a dark brown.

Still, her thoughts of her personalities were shaken away when the teacher dismissed the class. It hadn't seemed that long, probably because she hadn't cared enough to pay attention. Whatever. She gathered her unused books and stuffed them back in her bag, then slung it over her shoulder and stood up. "What do you have next?"

Karissa gathered her things and skipped to her next class. When she entered the classroom, she tried to sit towards the front, but got an unnerving feeling in her stomach. She sighed and headed for the back row. When she was seated she pulled out a piece of paper and began to doodle.

Kai shrugged. Yeah, that could have happened, too. He'd just like to think that it didn't. Benefit of the doubt and all that. Kai jumped when the bell rang. Huh. He'd been really late, apparently. Ah well. Before answering, he checked the clock while standing. "I believe I've got... chemistry next," he answered in a less-than-thrilled voice. Anything that had to do with the left side of his brain was practically a handicap, like math and science. "Unfortunately," he added as an afterthought with a small giggle. Well, mostly Kai disliked all classes, sans Geography and his electives because memorizing stuff was easy; it was having to apply formulas and stuff to equations that was hard. History fell into the memorization category, but it was just so boring. Oh, and lunch, too. Lunch was good.

"What about you?" he checked. She seemed pretty cool so far. Then again, most people did, but he'd like to think he saw the best in everyone. And the fact that he didn't have many friends helped.

Kijt knew she was late the moment she stepped into the school, she'd been praying the clocks were all miraculously wrong; but of course those prayers weren't answered, they never were. She frowned, rushing through the hallway as quickly as she could without knocking someone over, that thought made her feel rather depressed...

In the back of her mind she heard Raine's voice, "Why do we even have to go to this school? We're not crazy." Sufficiantly distracted she mumbled to back to him, trying to block out the replies of the other voices in her head, "Of course we are, we talk in the plural like we're a hive mind amongst other things." Aside from herself, Tyr had replied with, "I like school, it's better than being at home..." Vyx had said, "Shut your annoying mouth, Raine." And had "hit" him, and Gin had just said, "We're not crazy, but we are ultra special."

All in all, Kijt was having a "good" morning. She was nervous though, and she was also feeling rather depressed... "Hey, cute guy alert at twelve o'clock!" Vyx shouted inside of her mind, and once again she was distracted from her bad mood; she had to look where Vyx wanted to, she couldn't fight it. "Hmm..." She hummed in thought, neither aggreeing nor disaggreeing with Vyx, but she couldn't hide her thoughts of aggreement.

Alaric's walk to the next class turned into something of a dance as he went as quickly as he could spinning, ducking, sidestepping, and pivoting around the other students. Barely stopping at his locker to switch books, he headed to his next class, science. He walked in the room and took a seat at the back, He had mixed feeling about this class, on the one hand he enjoyed it, but on the other, the other students knew that he could answer nearly any question. oh well. He opened his science book and began reading it.
