Branimir twined his tail with Rufio's as she came to walk beside him. It was as if he was afraid if he let go of her she would vanish, or, that's how it seemed to Raina but she kept quiet not wanting to upset her canine companion.
At Jenette's prompting Raina looked up to study the mountains more closely and she shuddered involuntarily at the memories they brought flooding to the forefront of her mind. "Yeah, that's them alright... I think that was one of the worst "vacations" I ever went on, but it was fun... just a little cold for my taste." she grinned thought she kept her voice down, also reluctant to disturb the mood.

The silence crept over Jenette as she stared at the mountains. She gripped Rufio's mane a little tighter as she thought about that 'vacation'. It was defintely a creepy one... but, that was how she had aquired Spalding, so it was an entire waste of a trip. Releasing a fist full of mane, Jenette's fingers idlely brushed her beloved Raichu's pokeball.
"Where are we going, my love?" Rufio spoke. Her voice was a low growl. She was just trying to be quite, she was in no way angry with him... heck she could -never- get angry at Branimir! To the trainers it was a soft growling on the boarder of being a low key whine.

As Raina continued to stare at the mountains a strange feeling crept over her that had her instantly wanting to repeat that trip from what felt like a lifetime ago. As she looked down at Branimir she stroked his thick neck fur and then urged him forward with a slight pressure applied by both legs.
Upon recieving Raina's cue he turned his head to look at Rufio and gave her a doggish grin "Raina wants to go to the mountains... and there is something I'd like to show you when we get there." he said softly, his eyes alight with a fire that seemed to burn brighter with each passing moment. Slowly he started off towards the mountains, picking up speed as he went until he was running at, what to him, felt like a jog or slow run but to Raina felt like she was in a car on the freeway.
Raina turned to look over her shoulder and grinned at Jeanette though she wasn't sure if her friend could see her face at this distance "C'mon or you'll get left behind!" she called as loud as she could without her voice going up to a nerve grating octave.

Rufio paused, stopping for a moment. Her face had confusion written all over it before she shook out her mane and squatted down. "Oh goodness...." Jenette mumbled to herself, grabbing tight fistfuls of Rufio's mane.
The second Rufio knew her trainer had a good grip on her she lunged forward, her body now flowing in a graceful movement, her tail flickering like the flames she was made of. Her mane was whipping about Jenette, who was now snuggled up against the back of Rufio's neck. It took only a few moment for the arcanine to be running swiftly behind her mate, her mind intrigued.

After Branimir was certain Rufio was coming he kicked up his speed and soon he was moving so fast that if Raina would have attempted to look around, which she didn't, she would've seen nothing but blurs of color. Stretching out his legs and taking as long of strides as he could he carried his trainer swiftly up into the mountains, avoiding any obstacles that might cause harm to Raina or Rufio.
Raina had her face buried into Branimir's thick fur as they ran, not exactly wanting to get dizzy or motion sick. When she noticed him slowing down she carefully raised her head, glancing around at their surroundings. She did not remember this part of the mountains, but with the way Branimir was acting, looking around, sniffing the air and pacing, she assumed there was something here that he either wanted, or was worried about.
Branimir crouched down and looked over his shoulder at Raina, silently asking her to dismount so that he could go do something without her. As she quietly slid off of his back she looked up at him, questions burning in her eyes but she knew she wouldn't get an answer. Sighing she sat down where she was and waited to see just what her arcanine was up too this time.
