After a few minutes of playing tag, Airi turned and saw four new cubs. Eyes wide, she froze. Were they her siblings? Curiosity raged within her as she took a hesitant step towards them, only to get hit by some flying water. Odd, what had caused that? Two cubs looked very familiar, almost the same as their parents, but the other two... they had coloring she'd never seen before.

Very hesitantly, she creeped forwards until she was almost touching the cubs. They didn't seem to be moving too much, but she remembered her old mother telling her she'd been the same once. She gently touched her nose to the blue one's forehead and breathed in. "So you're my sister?" Then she turned to the cloudy one. "And you are my brother?" Her eyes swept to the two cubs who looked almost like Patch and Kahawa, "And you are my siblings?" She was awestruck for a moment, and gently lay down next to her four new family members.

Kero followed Marne out of the cave. "Good you know your way around. I'll just follow you. My light will help our search," she said. She could see a white lioness close by near the woods Marne had pointed to. It was odd. This location drew a lot of lions in tonight. Was it fate? Kero wasn't one to believe in fate but the coincidences were getting odd. Plus, it was obvious that Zahina was pulling allot of strings tonight.

Saphira watched as another lion, or rather, lioness, exited the cave. This one was different, though, as she was sprinkled with glowing spots. Saphira's brows raised at the strange sight. Other than that, her expression had not changed and her body did not move. She noticed that the glowing lioness was looking at her. It made her incomfortable for some reason, and this time, shifted her position in restless unease. Who were these lions and why were they here? Why was she herself here? Something odd was going on tonight, and she wanted to know what was going on. Contemplating, her brows met and she frowned.

Marne stayed close to Kero as she followed him, relying on her light. He could feel his paws sinking into the wet earth and his face contorted. He'd be licking mud from between his toes for weeks; such an unpleasant thought.

As he moved he saw Kero's light shift, and he glanced toward her. She seemed to be looking toward something, so he followed her gaze to the lioness sitting on the rock. He narrowed his eyes at her, uncomfortable with the way things were turning out. There were far too many lions showing up, and far too little space for him to keep his head clear.

He made sure he was inbetween Kero and the lioness, knowing that if there were danger, he'd rather fight it off than deal with someone else being harmed. It was a gruff, less romantic version of protection, but it was protection all the same.

Kero walked in front of Marne. "Maybe it's best if I stand between you two. You saw how most Zahina lions react to you at first sight. She might get scared and start an unnecessary fight. If things get dangerous I'll let you handle it. But for now, let's be cautious. Plus, isn't she sitting near by some give leaves and shrubs? That stuff might be what we're looking for," Kero said. A lone lioness sitting in a storm could be dangerous but Kero really didn't feel to scared. Even though she was standing as if she was protecting Marne, all in all, he was protecting her.

Suri left her place as the father entered, knowing he would want to be with his mate. Going to the end of the laboring lioness, she sat by the girl. She'd enjoyed the girls company the first time, even if things had not turned out as planned. She doubted the girl would even remember her, but while they were waiting, the raven haired human turned to her.

"I'm sorry for what happened." Was all she said. Nodding somberly, Suri accepted it, knowing it was no one's fault, not even Zahina's. That she had lost her family was secret enough. The hows and why's didn't need to be brought up at a time like this.

"What's wrong?" She asked, seeing the contortion of the girls face. She didn't know humans enough to know the exact emotion, but she wagered it wasn't a good one, and wagered correctly as the girl let out a sigh.

" I don't like it, but this last cub is breech. And with the contractions slowing down, things are just not good." She shook her head, muttering not good under her breath one more time.

Saphira snorted and turned her head away from the two lions. She saw them speak to each other and they were still looking at her. She didn't like it. Looking back, she watched the green lion illuminated by the lioness's glow and returned his menacing glare. Then she licked her paw, as if she wasn't paying attention to them, but her icy cold eyes never wavered from their direction as she groomed herself, drying the rain from her fur.

Afte he had soothed Patch, Kahawa looked at his newborn children. He could recognize his genes in two of them, but the others were nothing like their parents. The hazy male was already out when he arrived but he had witnessed the birth of the blue female. The water coming out of nothing had suprised him. They were truly blessed by Zahina!
A few minutes ago he could see two lions leaving the cave in his eyecorners. The place wasn't so crowded anymore and maybe it would do Patch good. Then Airi came back, her little eyes widening as she saw her new siblings. "What do you think of your new brother and sisters Airi?" He asked her with a warm voice. While he said that he looked over to Suri and the Zahina girl talking. It seemed they had met before.. or was that just his imagination? Nevertheless the look on the girls face disturbed Kahawa. It wasn't over yet...

Airi looked up at Kahawa, and then back at her unnamed siblings. She titled her head to once side, concentration flickering over her face. What did she think? It was so many things at once, that she was too confused to muddle through them all. She was awed that the cubs seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, and excited at the prospect of meeting them. At the same time, she felt nervous. Would they be nice? Would they care that she wasn't really part of the family?

Biting her lip, she thought up the best answer she could. "I don't know what to think, they haven't even moved yet!" She announced, eyes gleaming cheekily. She saw everyone's face slowly falling, something she'd been oblivious to before. Was something wrong? Or where even more cubs coming?

Kero began to walk with Marne to the plants at the rock. He hadn't replied yet. Soon she was close to the lioness. "Sorry to intrude. There's a pregnant mother up ahead who is in need of some herbs and water," she said. She began tearing herbs from the ground and placing them in front of Marne. She didn't know what was good and what was bad. Then she sat up and awaited Marne and the lioness's responses.

Patch began to come to a bit. She couldn't see. She was so dizzy and everything was blurry. She knew what she was supposed to be doing. With a lack of energy she began pushing again. Nothing seemed to be working. None the less this was all she could do. She longed to soon see her cubs. To her dismay she felt on the brink of death.

Saphira glanced at the lioness and sniffed the air. She could smell the pregnant lioness on her, the embryonic fluids lingered in the air. Her nose cringed and she muttered, "Carry on. They aren't MY leaves.." and kept her eye on the green lion. She couldn't think of a reason why these lions made her so uneasy, and she shifted her position once more. The glow of the other lioness made Saphira's eyes sparkle as she blinked and scowled at the green lion.

Marne nodded at Kero. He wouldn't fight her. If she thought it was better to put herself in a line of danger, he wouldn't argue.

"I'm not so sure I'm comfortable walking by her." He returned her glare, eye to eye, turning his head to watch her as he walked. As Kero piled herbs infront of him he sifted through them, looking one, for a moss, and two, for something to reduce her fever. Before two long he has a thick clump of moss clamped in jaws, surrounded by a dark green leaves. He mumbled something around the greens but there wasn't any way to understand him.

Kero, seeing that Marne had what he needed, grabbed a big leaf which held water, ready to go. The water spilled out. "Yeah, it's a two lion job," she sighed rather ashamed. Marne had enough to carrie. She looked over at the lioness. "Sorry to get you involved but could you help me carrie a big leaf full of water?" she asked. The lioness had an unfriendly look in her eye toward them. Kero didn't blame her. They were looking her in the eye a lot and talking about her seconds before. She really didn't expect assistance.

"This is for that pregnant one, I presume" She said, her voice deep. Memories resurfaced of the mother and father she never knew. Mere silhouettes of two lions as they walked away. The thought pained her but she showed nothing through her expression. It only left an ache inside her chest. This mother...better not abandon her cubs like I was..was her only thought. Not if I have anything to do with it... She looked at the lioness and the lion with moss and leaves and let her angry features soften a little. Unwillingly she said, "I will help you.." And came down from the rock she laid on to grip the other end of the leaf in her jaw gently to lift it up.
